A Newt Gingrich Super PAC launched mid-debate Saturday night, NBC’s Alex Moe reports, called, “Time for Newt.” It features just a photo of Gingrich, a way to donate and asks people to help elect a "true conservative." It’s paid for by a group called “Solutions2012.org.”
But whoever created it, didn’t want to be found out. A search of WhoIs, the Internet domain registration database, brought back that the site was registered through GoDaddy by "Domains by Proxy", which touts, "Your identity is nobody's business but ours."
The same is true for Solutions2012.org, which doesn’t have a separate website. It redirects you to the new Newt site.
The Super PAC registration isn't yet on the Federal Election Commission site.
