GOP Rep.: 'Don't blame the banks ... I'm tired of hearing that crap!'

Noted Tea Party favorite and combative freshman Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) let his emotions get the best of him over the weekend when talking to some constituents at a bar in his district.

When asked about the U.S. banking meltdown, Walsh screamed, "Don't blame banks and don't blame the marketplace for the mess we are in right now, I'm tired of hearing that crap!"

He then told one man, "Be quiet or you're going to have to leave!"

The full video was posted by a liberal political blog called "Thump and Whip."

Walsh's D.C. office had no comment on the video.

Typical deplorable GOP logic. If there are LESS people in homes, the problem would magically go away? That's just more of what we have already-- people working their lives away and paying an excessive tax burden, yet having no stake in the system at all... Joe Walsh is upset because he is pretending he wants to fix things, when really life's been good to him, and so what? If he really thinks government is to blame, he should decline to accept his paychecks from Uncle Sam. Instead, he threatens to throw dissenters out of the fancy bar that he owns. Not bad for a guy who just admitted he is failing at his job.

What a nimrod! Bet he shows up in church like a good boy on Sunday, but his kids can't afford the gas to get there because he owes over a $100k in child support. I wonder if he plans on cutting the welfare his kids need to survive since he doesn't support them? Hey, since he's so far behind in child support shouldn't he be in jail?

Why in the world would the government "force" banks into making loans? This is one of the dumbest talking points from the repubs out there. Banks are private. They did this because the repubs deregulated them and allowed them to get real greedy. Time to wake up and stop blaming everyone but the people responsible. You all sound like Herman Cain. Thank God none of your candidates will make it to the big show.

This f'er needs his head kicked in as he has no sense. The banks loaned money to people with no credit and left everyone holding the bag. The fed and their banker buddies bailed them all out. So now, its legal to take deposits and lend to others with no credit and let someone else hold the keys while they collect bonuses........ They should go to flippn jail . End of story. This guy needs a crack in the head with a baseball bat.

This guy will stop at nothing to defend large bank interests and prevent important banking legislation. From the video it seems clear that he would even strike a woman if he had to. (I'm very glad that he did not)

I also appreciate how he stands up for Tea Party ideals like free speech: "Be quiet or you're going to have to leave!" He is a true patriot. Good choice, Tea Party.

This big mouth jerk who is thousands of Dollars behind in child support won't have to listen much longer. he will be toast[burned ] at the end of his upcoming election. I am 82 yrs old and this current group of GOP liars, thieves and any other deviant practice is without doubt the poorest crop of politicians the Repubs could come up with. Lets go back to the old GOP where the men are a little more deceitful about their activties and who they prefer sexually. This bandit who is keeping food from his kids probably will be elected to speaker of the house so he can put the screws to a lot more of the population instead of just his kids if the GOP has its way.
