GOP Rep.: 'Don't blame the banks ... I'm tired of hearing that crap!'

Noted Tea Party favorite and combative freshman Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) let his emotions get the best of him over the weekend when talking to some constituents at a bar in his district.

When asked about the U.S. banking meltdown, Walsh screamed, "Don't blame banks and don't blame the marketplace for the mess we are in right now, I'm tired of hearing that crap!"

He then told one man, "Be quiet or you're going to have to leave!"

The full video was posted by a liberal political blog called "Thump and Whip."

Walsh's D.C. office had no comment on the video.

He's my congressman and he's an a$$.

Not once when I've contacted him and chimed in with my opinions of legislation being voted on in congress has he even acknowedged muchless responded.

Sure my views are different than his, but just as valid.

He's an awful representative for his district.

He's nothing more than a pompous bully.

I love bashing right wing wacko's but dems are taking the money too. For God's sake,Grover Norquist is a lobbyist...look for clues!!

Walsh just got an award from the Family Values group, for being such a supporter of family values. Really, that's a fact. Too bad he won't even support his own kids. How in the hell do you rightwing maniacs support these people? These politicians are crazy, but you lunatics who actually vote for them are 10 times worse. You only enable them to become crazier and crazier...like a catch 22. They get crazier, you get even more crazier.......Hopefully, one day very soon, you'll all implode. Just take a look @ Hermie Cain on how to do that.

I'm sorry you are tired of hearing this but you, sir, were sent to WAshington DC to represent the real people. Not corporate "people" who have no ethics, no souls, and no children. Outrageous.

The "other Joe Walsh" sings Rocky Mountain Way with a new twist,

Joe spent the last year, In the Tea Bag Way
      Couldn't poll much higher

Banks are blameless, Think it's safe to say, "When I hear that crap, I tire",

And we don't need the libbies, Crying 'cuz the storie's sad
'Cuz the Tea Bagger Way, Is worse than the way we had

Well Joe's tellin' us this, And Joe's tellin' us that
Changes it every day, say's it doesn't matter
On the government dole, Joe's a deadbeat dad
Screamin what he wants to say, crazy as the Mad Hatter

And we don't need the libbies
Crying 'cuz the storie's sad, uh huh

A Reublican will win in 2012, no matter how you Liberals try to "spin it", because Obama is a HYPOCRITE:

          Read Joe Scarborough :

"... Obama seems capable of effortlessly floating between demonizing Wall Street gambling one day and profiting from it the next. The audacity is breathtaking. The president has raised more money from Wall Street through the Democratic National Committee and his campaign account than any politician in American history. This year alone, he has raked in more cash from bank employees, hedge fund managers and financial services companies than all Republican candidates combined."

"Even poor Mitt Romney was outraised by the Obama money machine at his former employer, Bain Capital, by a margin of 2 to 1."

"It is a campaign operation whose wheels are greased by Wall Street bundlers like MF Global former chief, Jon Corzine . These financiers are so good at what they do that the Center for Responsive Politics reports that Obama's Wall Street fundraising will "far surpass 2008 in terms of raw dollars and as a percentage of what he raises overall."

"That's saying a lot considering that Obama's "Hope and Change" campaign in 2008 raised more money from the financial community than any other politician in American history."

ALL YOU LIBERALS........GO AHEAD AND DEMONIZE THE "FAT CATS" , JUST LIKE OBAMA (HYPOCRITES ONE AND ALL)

Your hatred for President Obama doesn't let you see how things really are. Take off the blinders, stop watching Fox, and then there might be some hope left for you. You can't see what's right in front of you. But here's what you do....take a look at the votes in Ohio, Mississippi and Maine, then try to tell me again a Republican will win in 2012. hey Dee,

I didn't write that article above, Joe Scarborough (former Congressman) did.

You call the Repubs "lunatics" and yet you turn a blind eye to every Democrat "lunatic" in D.C.

You are asking me how we support Repubs and we are asking how YOU support Dems who cant "fix" problems.

About the votes from last night, you are selecting only the votes that benefitted Dems.

Virginia Repubs did well last night and in Ohio the voters said NO to Obamacare's mandate.

              Hey Leona;

Would that be the same Joe Scarbrough who had to resign his Congressional seat when they found a DEAD intern in his office?

Is THAT the Joe your hanging your hopes on?

              LMFAO@Loony Leona!

                #36.5 - Wed Nov 9, 2011 4:35 PM EST

Leona & Fiesty: most of the time, Wall Street puts its money where they think the winner will be. Your telling me that Wall Street, as a whole, has given more money to Barack Obama's campaign than to every single GOP candidate, combined. So, Wall Street, which bets with its money (and ours) is pretty well betting that Obama will win. And Bain Capital, which knows Romney better than any other candidate, is betting for Obama 2:1.... that's pretty telling, wouldn't you say?

                  #36.6 - Wed Nov 9, 2011 4:53 PM EST

                  dirp,

Yes, that is "telling." It's telling us that Obama is in "the pocket" of Wall Street at the same time he goes around the country demonizing Wall Street. He's nothing but a HYPOCRITE and he needs to GO. Next !

Feisty, I don't listen to any claims you make, they are usually lies, on top of name calling. As far as me "hanging my hopes" on Scarborough..........I didn't know he was running for President . LOL As far as what he wrote about Obama, every word is true.

Leona: no, I'd say that what President Obama is doing is saying that the "Wall Street fat cats" (a/k/a the 1% to the OWS crowd) should be paying additional taxes and apparently, at least based on the amount of money they are giving to his campaign, the Wall Street hedge fund managers and bankers agree.

I don't find that at all hypocritical. President Obama is not saying they should not make money, just that they need to pay more taxes and be more stronly regulated. Exactly what Walsh is complaining should not happen.

The most ironic story this month is Corzine's company going bankrupt... from being too heavily leveraged and utilizing investor's money to make highly risky investments (aka bets) on European debt instruments. This IS the same guy who in 2008 said there should be regulations to prevent just these kind of activities.... but then, the Republicans said NO, you'll strangle Wall Street. just too funny!!

                      3. I never tell people to take my word for anything. I would like it if everyone read multiple sources ( not just Msnbc ) so they would come up with their own conclusions. Instead , people like you drink the kool aid and spew it out.

And BTW, if the government backed off, we would be in a worse situation; however, I think the government should back off NOW because when the companies come to a government for a bailout, they can say "no. You didn't want our regulations; you made your bed, now lie in it".

There are only three possible conclusions that can be drawn from this video:

                                1) Rep. Walsh truly believes what he says, and is, therefore woefully, or willfully uninformed.

                                2) Rep. Walsh is too stupid to understand what really caused this last recession.

                                3) Rep. Walsh fully understands, and knows what the real causes of this last recession were, but is lying.

None of these are good conclusions to be made about a United States Congressional Representative. The voters might want to rethink their choice of representative next year. Personally, IMHO #2 is the correct conclusion.

Ask him , why no crooks on Wall Street that caused the crisis are in jail ? They are protected by crooked politicians like he is, probably, and Obama. What is he doing to bring our economy back from the Chinese, about closing our borders, about stopping importation of slave labor products that are killing American jobs. about rigged inflation figures for COLA that Clinton with Boskin Commision cheated millions of our seniors of money due them.
