More: “Yet despite those views, Obama continues to run ahead of the Republican presidential front-runners in hypothetical general-election match ups — leading former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney by six points and former businessman Herman Cain by 15 points.”
Here’s the Wall Street Journal’s take: The poll “has found an electorate that is convinced the country's economic structures favor an affluent elite and is still deeply torn as to whether President Barack Obama or any of his leading Republican rivals can pull the nation out of decline.”
Open-mic night: “During the three minutes of conversation broadcasted to present reporters and politicians, Obama first criticized Sarkozy for backing the Palestinian bid for statehood in Unesco, and later Sarkozy let his personal dislike for Netanyahu out of the bag,” the New York Daily News writes. “‘I cannot stand him. He's a liar,’ Sarkozy was clearly heard saying. Obama's quick retort wasn't flattering, either. ‘You're fed up with him, but I have to deal with him every day!’ Obama said.
“The White House is not expected to comply with a subpoena issued by House Republicans for documents related to the $535 million loan guarantee to the failed solar firm Solyndra,” The Hill reports.
“Attorney General Eric Holder says an investigation of arms traffickers called Operation Fast and Furious was flawed in concept as well as in execution, never should have happened and ‘it must never happen again,’” AP reports.

Why wouldn't the public be pessimistic? We have a dysfunctional Congress that couldn't find its way out of a paperbag with the lights turned on. We nearly had a second Great Depression. Wages for most people are stagnant. We see a system that currently is tilted in favor of a small percentage of the population that already has 25% of the wealth. But the biggest factor for the pessimism, overlooked by beltway wisdom, may be what has happened at the local and state levels where the GOP has begun one more step of their plan to neutralize the middle class.

Obama has intentionally created a class warfare, and you Liberals don't care. He gets more money than Republicans combined from Wall Street, but yet you haven't figured out problem is in D.C.

You find fault if Cain, despite any evidence at this point, yet found no fault in Obama's associations with known felon/terrorist Bill Ayers. You find fault in Tea Party, but somehow have no issue with those that Obama has openly embraced that have stood against America and our Constitution.

Heck you guys attempt to compare Tea Party to Occupy Wall Street, despite the clear differences:
1: Tea Party paid for access, OWS doesn't, actually refused in some cases, becoming violent.
2: Tea Party knew how to use a bathroom and/or trashcan, OWS either don't know what those are for, or don't care.
3: Tea Party had little impact on business operations during their protests, allowing people to come and go freely, NOT destroying property and not threatening the livelihoods of residents/patrons and owners. OWS haven't allowed businesses to operate, destroyed property, threatened people and continue to do so.
Heck these clowns were yelling to shut down a local Burger King...LOL...It shows the ignorance of these protestors. Again, they are in a Burger King protesting them...LOL...It shows exactly WHAT they are and have clue. Burger King guys..They are shown chanting in a Burger King, calling for it to shut down. Do they not understand that MOST Burger King owners are NOT very wealthy...do they not understand that most of the staff of Burger King live day to day...Or do they even care? Sad...sad..
WRWSR My first perfect example of class warfare. The Grover Norquist pledge. Paul Ryan's plan, The 9-9-9 plan, Wall Street bonuses. How much more do you want. All from the republican/tea bag party. O yeah lets go back to the old way to health insurance, preexisting conditions, being turned down because you were sick, your policy running out of money, or they just drop you. As a cancer survivor I know all to well about this. Its time to take the profit out of health care. Its all about money not the people.
How is it class warfare isf the people he supposedly is declaring warfare on (the wealthy) actually support him more than the GOP (Obama recieves much much more money from Wall St. than the GOP). It's not class warfare, noones demonizing the wealthy people solely for being wealthy... we just want them to pay a higher tax rate than their historically low rate they enjoy today. Revenue is 14% of GDP while it usually is around 18 - 22%. We're spending at around 25%. We need to fix this problem with cuts to spending and tax increases.

Most conservatives do, as they mostly believe what they are told they should want to believe.
You also have a very weak understanding of recent political history.
Despite only having a fillabuster proof majority for 14 weeks, the Democraticly led 111th congress was the most legislatively productive in recent history.
Contrast that with the 112th congress - where the GOP can block everything, and have...which is why the 112th is on it's way to being more of a do nothing congress then the original do nothing congress.
They could not pass a budget !

The Republicans in Congress, specifically will give Obama this election and the way things are headed they're going to have economic-determinist political scientists going back to the drawing board in 2013 and adding a corollary to their theory: if economic conditions are bad, the incumbent will lose, unless the people have decided to blame the bad economy on the opposition party in Congress.
The general perception of GOP controlled Congress is very bad even conservative believes, even though they are for it, GOP is intentionally stalling efforts to jump start or reaching any form of agreement with Obama in reviving the economy. Their stand of NO in everything will definitely hurt anybody they eventually pick as their nominee. The Congress is GOP/TP waterloo but a gift for Obama's re-election.
Why would the electorate replace Obama with a Republican if it feels the affluent 1% have too much power? Republicans answer to everything is "tax cuts for the wealthy,"and "less regulation of Wall Street." It seems to me, the answer is to strengthen Obama's hand against the 1% by giving him a Democratic Congress to work with.
I heard the man who founded Vanguard, the biggest investment company in America, say that the solution to our financial problems is to start sending CEO's to jail. This is from a man who is part of the industry - he is as disgusted by the current culture on Wall Street as anyone and he advocates for more law enforcement.
If CEO's went to jail along with other members of the company in question that were involved in criminal activity then their would be a drop in big financial crimes. If you jailed politicians who aided the CEO's in their big financial crimes you would see smart regulations imposed. A corporation is NOT a person and no one and nothing should be too big to fail...Including politicians. Concerning the biggest crime in human history which we are still living through, we have rewarded the criminals with larger paychecks and more power.

The "long term decline" may have had it's roots going all the way back to Carter and, of course, Clinton, but for the last three years, it has been Obama's baby.
Just when we needed a real leader with experience and business acumen, just when we needed a President who could inspire and unite all Americans, and lead us out of this economic morass, we get Barrack Hussian Obama. An inept, arrogant, inexperienced, socialist, community organizer. One whose expertise seems to be never to stop campaigning and spending. One whose list of failures exceeds that of the former Soviet Union. One whose top priority is to wreck whatever semblance of economic prosperity we have left, and pass the blame on the upper class, the Republicans, and whoever might not vote for his second term.
What a walking joke he turned out to be. Will he be voted out of office?? Sure. But all those wretched unemployed and underemployed Americans, who placed their trust and their futures in this messiah, will have to wait for well over a year for even the beginning of the end of this fiscal madness.
What is this Charlie Brown Christmas going to be like for all those families? How many strained marriages will survive another year of Obamanomics??
