Herman Cain embraced conservative billionaires David and Charles Koch in a speech Friday amid new questions related to whether a Koch-funded group had provided illegal aid to Cain's ccampaign.

And why would anybody be surprised about Herman Cain "embracing" the Koch brothers? He has shown over and over again that he belongs with the same scum as the rest of the republicans; no different than the rest of them. The mistake that he is doing is to think that these people actually are going to take him serious. What a coincidence that these allegations are now surfacing when he was leading the polls.

Remember the two rich old brothers in "Trading Places?" - He's their Eddie Murphy with a suit. Yes, Dems can be wealthy too, and take in contributions from other rich Dems, but the problem I have with Republicans doing it is that they are always some under-qualified candidate that you know is going to do things against the common good, how do you know? It's basically "absolutely free market" (Koch) versus the need for "good government regulations" (Soros). We hear Koch's free market side all the time from the Republican pundits but I've never looked at Soros' views with any detail. There's a VERY interesting CNN interview in 2008 with Soros and Zakaria (GPS)... a must read transcript.

As an Ohioan, I intend to vote No on issue 2 to prevent Kasich and his Koch buddies from destroying collective bargaining for our fire fighters, police officers, teachers and nurses. I have never belonged to a union but if it were not for unions, the rest of middle class workers, would never have had received a decent wage or benefits.

The Rs were waiting for a backlash and when none came, they went to work to undermine the middle class with their deregulation for banks, oil subsidies to the max, tax breaks to companies moving their companies outside the U.S. Have to admire them for their patience and thoroughness. He doesn't give a damn about dignity or respect or competence. It is all about the money. He shot himself in the foot intentionally so that he wouldn't have to work so hard. He has made over 3million since he started this "run." He can now retire and live comfortably on the book sales and speaking fees that he plundered from his supporters. Win win for Cain. Koch Industries was supposed to be fined $215 million for 300 alleged pipeline spills across six states from 1990 to 1997, but thankfully lobbyist got them down to $35 million. They have more spills than BP and Exxon Combined. Corruption at it's best.
