Bachmann announces S.C. team, but only one is really new

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- While Michele Bachmann’s campaign “announced” its seven-member South Carolina campaign staff today, only one of those members is actually a new hire to the team.

The staffing announcement comes as Bachmann will be returning to the Palmetto State early next week, according to sources in the campaign.

Following a trial period with the campaign last weekend, political strategist Wesley Donehue will be joining the team full time as a South Carolina consultant and South Carolina communications director. Donehue will also help the campaign with national new media outreach.

While senior South Carolina adviser Ron Thomas and state campaign director Sheri Few were both in fact listed as “previously announced” staffers, most of the other members of the Bachmann South Carolina team have been on the ground here for months.

The three regional coordinators listed today, Natalie Lennon (Upstate), Patsy Dabney (Midlands) and Taylor Mason (Lowcountry) were being paid by the campaign at least since July, according to the Bachmann campaign’s quarterly FEC report that month.

Gavin Smith, announced today as Few’s assistant, was listed on the Bachmann campaign’s October FEC disbursement report.

Hell, I'd rather talk about Solyndra than this ding-dong.

When Cain implodes, Romney tanks, and Perry enters rehab, Michele will be ready! God called her, after all. She's prepared!

Yeah, but God called Perry, too. And looked what happened to him.

(BTW: How do they know it wasn't the Devil calling--tricking them?)

I remember then Senator Obama getting hammered for the votes he missed in the Senate while running, but at least for goodness sake, in the Primary and obviously the General he was leading or at the top.

Can the good Congresswoman even name the last 5 things that have been through the House and how any of it affects her district?

You're at the bottom...actively taking money from people (although they are clearly more crazy for giving than you receiving it)...and putting Staff in place. Girl, save some money...dig into that deep talent pool of 23 Foster Kids you got (some have got to be of age by now) and put them jokers to work in SC for Momma!

Allen,

We have to give the crazy- eyed Batwoman some slack. She doesn't know she is at the bottom.

She doesn't know anything; in fact.

She thinks she has a flat tax , is a doctor, and a LL.M in tax law.

None are true.

The next time crazy eyes starts frothing at the mouth with that blank stare, she might want to come clean and admit she does not have a LL.M because it is only for foreign students.

[I] personally do not believe she is even an attorney at all, considering her ‘law schools’ are very questionable to begin with. One law school is not in existence because they were FORCED to close for not being accredited. I even did a search on the American Bar Association website to see if Oral Roberts was an ABA approved school – nope. William and Mary is, but where is the proof she actually went there?

Hell, she may not even be a tax attorney as the author above stated. One thing for sure she is crazy and a pathological LIAR!!!

Um, who are these people working for her? I mean, seriously, what is their motivation? Or did God tell them they had to?

Much ado about nothing. Does anybody think Michelle will still be in the race by South Carolina? Of course, somebody will have to be left standing in this Monty Python-esque nomination process. Will the bobblehead from Mass. vanquish the loons? Or will the loons bludgeon him for not really belonging to their special set?

If the people working for her have any brains, they should demand they be paid on full NOW.

The best thing to do is quit posting about her. No one cares or someone would here defending her. She has proved that she is bats#!% crazy, it maybe fun to read but lets put her to bed.
