Perry going on air in New Hampshire

DURHAM, N.H. -- Texas Gov. Rick Perry will go on the air with his "I'm a doer not a talker" ad starting tomorrow in New Hampshire, according to the Perry campaign. The same ad began running in Iowa this week.

Senior Perry adviser Paul Young called this move a "significant statewide buy" that will put Perry on New Hamphire's WMUR new station and radio waves. The ad will also be aired on cable. The campaign would not elaborate on how much was spent.

Perry is currently polling in the single digits in New Hampshire.

An ad buy! What a great idea! That ought to help erase the memories of Perry floundering in every debate so far.

they should be careful what they cover up with make-up/airbrushing. This ain't GQ and he looks a little un-natural.

Ahh, does that mean he can't count on your vote Amy?

WE GET IT - your love for Obama is all powerful. You know the whole walk over hot coals thing.

Tell me Amy what do you think the Boeing guys in SC think of Pelosi and Obama after she said the feds should shut the plant down?

Seems a littel nuts, right. We need more not less jobs.

He'll need a lot of ad buys to cover up for his drug induced speech from last Friday in NH.

What was in that liquid gold maple syrup they gave him?

Tom - No doubt! I don't know what he was on but Perry was high like a kite.

I'd guess Oxycontin.

I can't believe he is still in the race! Romney has to be sitting on a stock pile of oppo research, good lord, there is a lot out there.

Going on air?

Nothing new here.

He's been on helium since at least last Friday night.

"I'm a doer not a talker"

All evidence to the contrary, but just so he's not a driver.

Dear Governor Perry,

We're not going to let you "do" unless you can adequately explain to us what you're going to do. That's what the debates are for.

Yours truly,

It's a good thing politicians don't have to talk.

Personally, I'd like to see Perry win for about 1 day, just so he could show us all how easy it is to pass legislation using only interpretive dance.

De Noid...if the debates are for finding out what they would do if they were President of the United States, we still do not know, do we? We do know what they stand for. The same things the TP/Republicans members of Congress stands for.

"Scary Perry" has proven that he does not talk very well at all in general, and in a debate format. He is a true GOP/RNC "Stuttering Spewer." In Texas, the only doing he has done is for the very rich, big oil, big corporations, and large insurance companies. "Scary Perry" loves to do economically greedy legistaion for anyone like, the Koch Brothers for instance. "Scary Perry" has plans to do nothing for 99% of Americans, however the top 1% are just loving the doing of "Scary Perry." In Texas, big oil is smiling ear to ear over on how "Scary Perry" gets things done all right. Now the Wall Street Bankers, are not scared at all by the "Stuttering Spewer." No financial regulations at all on the big banks is great for them, however it is another economic disaster waiting to happen. That is fact!

Admitting your faults and mistakes is one thing.

But Perry's slogan "I am a Doer, not a Talker " is too cute by half. A President needs to be both.

Perry must have done some 'talking' to convince Texas voters to reelect him, and some 'talking" to the Legislature to get his policies enacted, with great results.

While we cant expect a "Great Communicator" like Reagan, conservatives need a "talker", able to convince the undecided.

Bob - In the last election Perry refused to debate. He's done it before, but he is not good at it.

I know a lot of people hate it when we point this out, but Rick Perry is not a smart man. He doesn't qualify as average. Heck, even in Texas he doesn't qualify as average.

Perry tends to get elected via advertising, not talking. That is why so many well connected political actors in Texas keep saying Perry is not your guy. Well, that and the whole "Wide Stance" thing.

Rick -- you're not a talker, you're not a debater and you're not a doer. What you are is the most unqualified, most ignorant, and worst candidate to run for president in the history of the Republican Party. You are an embarrassment to former Republicans such as Reagan, Bush 41, Goldwater, Ike, TR, Lincoln and even Nixon to mention a few

Obama = More than $15 trillion debt, more s&p downgrade, no budget, more lies like " There will be NO lobbyists in my White House", open borders, more Solyndras, more military action without Congress' approval, higher taxes and more bail outs.
