Perry to debate at least five more times

Texas Gov. Rick Perry will participate in at least five additional debates, the Perry campaign confirmed to NBC News yesterday.

The governor will participate in the following debates in the month of November and the beginning of December: CNBC in Michigan (Nov. 9), CBS in South Carolina (Nov. 12), a Family Leader forum in Iowa (Nov. 19), and CNN-sponsored debates in DC (Nov. 15), and Arizona (Dec. 1).

AP first reported the news.

Sources in Perry’s campaign have expressed frustration with the extensive schedule of contests, noting the time it takes to travel to each venue and prepare the candidate reduces the amount of time Perry can spend interacting with voters.

But Perry himself said Friday in New Hampshire that he intended to participate in future contests, joking, "Shoot, I may be a good debater before this is all over."

"We haven't made any decisions about what we're gonna do," he said Friday.

Spokesman Ray Sullivan told NBC News earlier this week that the campaign would decide on future debates "on a case by case basis."

Wow limiting his television time to get to more voters. Doesn't make sense, but then nothing the republicans do makes sense to me.

Maybe someone should tell his campaign that the new invention of television is to assist Perry in spreading his message. If you can't debate with other republicans, how are you going to deal with world leaders who don't think anything like republicans?

Pretty obvious why the "Hairdoo" refused to debate Bill White when running for re-election for Gov. in Texas... The man has NOTHING intelligent to say. Except maybe duh... duh... duh...

Perry to debate five more times... once for each percentage he's drawing in the polls.

I glad to hear Perry is debating in five more debates. He's been vary entertaining in the previous ones. He's the only one driving the ratings for the debates, without him nobody would watch.

Aloud: "Shoot. I may be a good debater before this is all over."

(To himself: "Shoot. I hope I don't shoot myself in the foot again.")

Perry makes the debates into UFC and I hope he stays awhile. Miss Congeniality (Romney) continues to lead and is the odds on favorite and yet, I've never seen or heard anyone say they were excited about him as a President. Of course its hard to line up w/ Romney cuz you have to check each day to find out what you're agreeing with. If Perry drops out, none of the other dolts will call him on it.

We could show clips of Mitt from the day before and then have him debate himself.

We can onlyhjope he canlearn to answer a question. Here are a few-please feel free to add tothe islist:

Mr Perry -you said in a recent interview that "raisng revenue is not important". In view of the debates onthe federal debt cieling that passed by one vote -does that meanyou would support raising the debt ceiling again?

Would you support the Ryan budget proposal the envisions a $24 tillion national debt? Yes or no.

Do you support the Trns Canada pipeline proposal route through Nebraska.?

Do you support Republican proosals in state legislatures to nullify federal laws they don't apporve of?

Your proposal allows mortage deducatiblty if people so choose. Why should people be allowed to deduct second or third mortages thus lowering their taxes even more?

You state by our suppport for state laws on marriage and siad that New York can enact gay marrige if the so choose. You also endorsed Michelle Bachmanns Marriage Amendment fedralzing marrage laws at the federal level. Can you give us a definitive answer why the federal goverment shoud involve itself inthemost intimate decisons of one's live andeffective tell people how to live? Why should people have to hire federal lawyer for divorces?

This man is the male version of SP. Everything out of his mouth is a soundbite. Whenever he tries to convey a point we realize he is an idiot. Please remember what happened to us when the last TX governor became president. He dragged into a senseless war in Iraq and waffled on the war on Afghanistan.

So far the winner of every teapublican debate has been President Obama and with the current collection of clowns running as teapublicans, I highly doubt that will change.
