Subscribe to RSSRepublican operative Eric Woolson will be named Iowa campaign manager for the Michele Bachmann campaign, NBC News can confirm.
An announcement will go out tomorrow.
Woolson, who was hired about a month ago to lead the Bachmann campaign's communications in Iowa, was Mike Huckabee's 2008 Presidential campaign manager in Iowa. Sources stress this is a newly created role in the Iowa campaign office -- an indication, sources say, that the campaign is growing.

Dear Feisty: {I didn't know where to post this, First Thoughts seems to have run its course and wasn't sure if you were planning on going back into it.} I saw your message about Beverly. Please send her my deepest sympathies. Beverly is someone I truly treasure here among all those I have been fortunate enough to have gotten to know through the years.
It was such tragic news as I read your post and saddened me deeply to see this happen to our friend. It just makes me want to go to Chicago even more to share some time with her.
Thank you for letting us know. And Beverly, if you see this, you are in all our thoughts. Even though this is just a blog, I'm sure you know that we are all family and are here for each other when needed. And if you need anything, we're here for you. Just as you always are for us.

What's the difference between Bachmann's Iowa campaign manager and Bachmann's campaign manager? If both focus on Iowa, how will they keep from stepping on one another's efforts?
