On tonight’s episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, President Obama, asked whether he’s watching the GOP debates, he invoked a reference that is more 2000 than 2011.
"I'm going to wait until everybody's voted off the island," the president quipped, invoking the reality show "Survivor." "Once they've narrowed it down to one or two, I'll start paying attention."
In a more serious part of the interview, according to excerpts released, Leno asked the president about former Libyan leader Moammar Khaddafy’s death. President Obama said his demise should send a message to other dictators around the world.
“This is somebody who, for 40 years, has terrorized his country and supported terrorism," Obama said. "And he had an opportunity during the Arab Spring to finally let loose of his grip on power and to peacefully transition into democracy. We gave him ample opportunity, and he wouldn't do it.”
The president continued, “You never like to see anybody come to the kind of end that he did, but I think it obviously sends a strong message around the world to dictators that … people long to be free.”
According to pool reports, the president’s Tonight Show taping lasted for 25 minutes, and he will be seen in three segments. It airs tonight on NBC.

As long as the republican Congress is in single digits I don't think he needs to. The current challenge for the GOP primary contestants is to find the best gimmicky "tax plan" to pander to the far right wing.
The only stipulations are that it must accelerate the moving of wealth to the top, and pass the Grover test.
The winner gets immunity from the next debate. (And a date with Grover.)

Like I posted above I am not Republican. I don't like Cain's 999 or 909 (whatever it is now), but I do think there needs to be changes made to the current system. Do I think taxing the rich is the solution?... No. Do I think cutting SS, medicare, unemployment is right?...No. I do think there is a lot of "waste" in the government that can be cut that no one in this country would miss or even know it was gone. I'm sorry I do not have links. I do think we need to pull out of all wars and protect our country. I am not a fan of big oil, but I do know I need it to get to work. There are more than two sides to every story.

President Obama understands the "Crazy Conservative Crap" being spewed by the "Gross Odd People" (GOP), and the "Really Not Competent" (RNC). The President will continue to ignore the "Mental Madness" of the GOP, and the "Classless Clowns" politically flip-flopping on stage. The President knows all about the "Crazy Cain" economic connection to the Koch Brothers. The President knows that "Bitchy Bachmann" is a "Bonehead Birther." Who watches lasers running through her limited cranial capacity. This President knows about the flip-flopping of "Nutty Newt," and his many disturbing personalities. Then the President is ignoring the continued eoconomic flip-flopping of "Romulian Romney." This "Romulian" will never dare fly his Bird Of Prey near the White House. The President is not concerned about "Scary Perry." The man with a Third Grade Education, who puts his tax plan on a post card. The current Republican campaign cry ... “We can take this country back!” What they mean to say is that ... “We can take this country back to more of the same, Bush-Cheney style, and once more completely cater to the very wealthy few while we continue to just take the majority for granted”. As if the arrogance and cockiness isn’t offensive enough, there also is that insulting continually taking the people for granted. Just like with every one of their tax proposals which always stubbornly protect the very rich and try to raise the contribution from everyone else, obnoxiously trying to sell that as “fair”, they constantly try to con the people into faulting Obama for everything and to manipulate public opinion into supporting their self-serving positions. Anyone who can be honest with themselves can see the gross dishonesty in what they say, and if the majority doesn’t, then we are very apt to be returned to “more of the same” and again suffer the severe consequences of that. Yes, they want “to take us back” ... but just not to where we should want to go!

Obama has said he is willing to pay more in taxes. His Jobs bills are based on raising the revenue by taxing the second million of taxpayer's income at .05% and .07% for each of the bills that the Repub senators keep from going for a floor vote by their threat of filibuster.

It's this kind of arrogance that will get us another GOP President. More and more independents are turned off by Mr Obama. More and more minorities are turned off by Mr. Obama. More and more elderly are turned off by Mr. Obama. This is a big problem. Once the protesters on wall street realize Mr Obama has received more money from wall street than any other President in history, and more than ALL the GOP candidates combined they may just turn on him too. This is not a pretty situation.
