Bachmann campaign didn't know of staff departures

The five New Hampshire staffers, who quit Friday had not -- as of Saturday morning -- been in touch with the campaign to resign in a formal fashion, the Bachmann campaign tells NBC News.

Of the campaign's former New Hampshire Director Jeff Chidester, campaign spokewoman Alice Stewart told NBC, "He talked to the media -- just not us."

The Bachmann campaign learned of the departures Friday through media reports. This explains why Bachmann herself questioned the reports during a phone interview with Radio Iowa Friday afternoon -- and why the campaign said, in a statement issued after 5:00 pm ET Friday: "We have a great team in New Hampshire, and we have not been notified that anyone is leaving the campaign."

Chidester confirmed his own departure, and that of four others, via text to NBC last night.

All five paid New Hampshire staffers to the campaign left -- Jeff Chidester, Nicole Yurek, Matt LeDuc, Caroline Gigler, and Tom Lukacz.

Is Michele that out of touch that she couldn't see the mutiny coming?

Answer: You Betcha!

The rats jumping off the 'SS Bachmann', meanwhile Michele & Marcus continue to rearrange the deck chairs while the music plays on... lol

The only Michelle who will "rearranging the deck chairs" is Michelle Obama and everyone knows it.

One and Done.

Leona - You are wrong. Although Obama hasn't straightened out the economy yet, much of it is the fault of business that are sitting on large amounts of money instead of creating more jobs, the American people see that the obstructionist GOP-T'baggers are not doing their part, not one iota. The GOp-T'baggers are trying to do just what you said, that is, make Obama a one-term president even if it is severely hurting the country and the majority of its people. So, no, Obama will win another term. Mark my words! If not, God help us all!

She does not know what is going on with her own staff and she wants to run the whole country?

This is the typical attitude of those people that think that they have all the winning cards. She has been trashing President Obama with her hate rhetoric since day 1. If you live by the sword, you die by the sword.

The Obamas may or may not be moving out of the White House in a year, but its become pretty clear that the Bachmanns will definitely not be moving in.

The real question is whether the voters in Minnesota have gotten sick enough of Bachmann making them look bad on the national stage while cheating on them with her real favorite state Iowa that they might do the country a favor and remove her from Congress and elected office entirely.

It appears the cool-aid wasn't strong enough to keep her adoring staff happy. Or maybe they were afraid to confront her for fear that the next batch offered would be strychnine straight up. LOL!

-and she wants to be a President of the USA. You got to be kidding. If she is so preoccupied with all those lesbians chasing her in her dreams, there is no hope for this dingbat.

I'm just surprised it took them this long to see what a moron she was, and I would have bailed out after her babbling about the lesbian dream or when she commented on her hubby having a cure for gay people.

The woman is a LOSER! Put her on Glee, I'm sure she will love it there.

        Don't:

I penned this on Newsvine the next day right after the GOP/TP debate.

        PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!!!!

When Mitt Romney placed his hand on Rick Perry, I was expecting them to go to blows at ANY moment. It was CLEARLY evident that "Willard" got his ass handed to throughout the entire night; his opponents rattled him to the point that they got him off his game when they attacked his policies and stance on the issues. Want to know how he lost? Look and listen to the number of times he had to "admonish"the opponents by saying that they were on a time clock when he was speaking. If Evangelicals are having a hard time wrapping their brains around the fact that this nation has a Black President who had a Muslim father and blew a gasket when Muslim Americans wanted to build a mosque near "Ground Zero", Mitt Romney is going to be excoriated by the Evangelicals for being a practicing Mormon, especially in the Southern States where guns and Christianity go hand in hand.

Bachmann? HA!!! Stick the fork in her, because she is done. Even though she was able to handle her own in the past, it is VERY evident that she has NO MORE juice left in the tank. You can thank Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, and Herman Cain for siphoning the poll lead from her. Sure, she threw some punches during the debate; however, those punches can only be regarded as "token resistance". If I were to give an estimate on how much funds she has left in the tank AND how badly she is doing in the polls, I would expect to hear her say that she WITHDRAWING from the race between now and the Iowa Caucus.

Newt? As Cris Carter from ESPN's Monday Night Football would say, "C'MON, MAAANNNNNN!!!!" Face it: Gingrich has been "NEWTERED", systematically and effectively, by the entire field! Each time he opens his mouth, he is ripped to shreds, and at this rate, I don't think he will make the Iowa Caucus next year, to say nothing about surviving ANOTHER debate unless he does something to turn things around.

Perry? "LAZARUS, COME FORTH!!!!!" That tet a tet he had with Romney, Santorum, and Cain has upgraded his campaign from being in a coma to being listed as "critical but stable" condition. That haymaker he threw that Romney for hiring an illegal immigrant might have come at an opportune time, but I would CAUTION Perry to tread VERY LIGHTLY CAREFULLY about making statements about illegal immigrants AND Making a grandiose statement about Texas having the best healthcare in the world; because if they hit him again, his campaign will be DOA come next debate.

        Santorum and Paul? NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Herman Cain? O.K. Let me get this OFF my chest: Black Man to Black Man, I can't stand him. Don't like him. Hate his views. His policies disgust me. If I were blind, and my guide dog was leading me into him OR ANY OTHER GOP/TPer, REGARDLESS of status in all levels of government, I would regain my sight AND blind my dog, because he WAS NOT looking out for my best interest!!! That being said, I have to give him his props for going in as the frontrunner, fighting back his opponents, and sticking to some of his statements; no matter HOW ignorant, stupid, foolish, or just PLAIN dumb. The 9-9-9 Plan is a joke and the Devil is in the details, but we cannot ignore the fact that he is riding that wave all the way in to Iowa.

Truth be told, I am ENJOYING watching the GOP/TP Candidates shred themselves like this. As they say, "If it's damaging to my rivals, so much the better."

Midwest Michelle: "All is secure. No one has left our New Hampshire team." Then the sound of the Perry campaign welcoming its newest hire, a former Bachmann NH staffer.

Look, I don't like Bachman, but she should have been notified that the staff were resigning. I would not be surprised to learn that someone was notified- and did not bother to pass along the information.

That is not to excuse her- a person is responsible for the people he or she hires. If your employees are not up to their jobs, it is the fault of the person doing the hiring- or, at least, keeping them employed.

It's time for Bachman to face reality- she has no prayer. A few terms as a Representative is NOT the requisite experience for president.

Lord knows, we have proof that less than two years as a Senator leaves one unprepared. . .

Republicans can't stand what a good job that President Obama is doing around the world without republicans obstructing his every move. Of course they have to complain about everything he does even to leaving Iraq according to the agreement Bush made.

Libya was very smart. Helped rid our world of a murderous dictator without getting stuck with another Vietnam or Iraq with boots stuck on the ground for 10 years with no exit strategy and costing our country trillions which was McCain and the republicans plan.

I think even with all their experience republicans have proved over and over they are unprepared to lead. If republicans knew how to lead we wouldn't be in the debt we are now. A responsible government would have raised taxes to pay for the wars like in the rest of our history as a nation.

Apparently the republicans are never responsible for anything they do. They just use faux to put the blame on someone else. They are too busy protecting the rich to do anything for our country.

I apologize to all cows for lumping this creature in with their species. Cows are smart enough to chew their cud. Bachmann just spits all over the TV cameras.

Supporting someone this clueless and trying to throw the good name of democratically elected President of the United States into a conversation that has absolutely nothing to do with him is beyond pathetic, Leona. It is contrived and deceitful.

Shockedanddisgusted, I am incensed that a sitting congresswoman is so ignorant of pretty much everything in general, not just her campaign staff jumping ship. I am incensed that our country has so many totally ignorant politicions (Dubya, Sarah Palin and, sorry, but John McCain is losing it, if he ever had it). The list goes on.

But using the term "cow" is totally disgusting and I am disgusted. Liar, stupid and dumb are fine--that's what she is. The term "cow" should be limited to the farm. I am not at all easily offended. If it offends me, you can be sure it pretty much offends most people who have functioning brains. Totally unacceptable, even for Bachmann and Palin.

I am not surprised. She is so out of touch with reality. She is a dangerous woman. I had the chance to shake her when she was making her first run for Congress and I refused by looking away. I often wonder what she would have done if I had taken her hand and held on tight, looked her in the eye and asked her why she disliked people like me so much? Why she hated my family so much? Let her know that as a gay man raising a family that I want what everyone else wants. But I was a coward. Could I have made a difference back then? I doubt it. Her staff quitting is quite the statement isn't it? She can only fool so many people for so long.

I think this was just in on FOX. Bachmann's staff did not actually resign, they were, according to unliving sources, kidnapped and are being held ransom by wild, menopausal Iranian widows. Rumor has it that the money is to be dropped off in a deserted ACORN location once inhabited by a satanic Muslim American-hating Christian church in Chicago that Obama walked past one Thursday after making fake copies of his birth certificate when he was a community organizer.

          Clearly Obama needs to resign.

Bachmann was missing a crucial tool, She has no defense

Bohner is defending Obamacare (His idea first and works GREAT)
Perry is defending Obama's immigration reform ideas
Huntsman is defending Obama's foreign policies
Paul is defending Obama getting us out of the wars

If you add up all of the Republican nominees policies (and possibly their IQ's) You have,,,,,,,,Obama

Mrs B. will quit when Mr B. says she can. Just as well. If she were elected president he1d be running the country. If there was a 3AM phone call she`d have to wake him up and ask what to do If they had separate bedrooms that might be pretty awkward..

Michelle Bawkmann has those same hate-filled eyes and narcissistic dangerous mentality that Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin have.

What took her staff so long to bail out on that air head lunatic?
