Romney is such a con man, elect him and the only differant between him & Obama in the White House is there be a republican there

    Reply#22 - Wed Oct 12, 2011 11:11 AM EDT

Money talks in the Republican party. Republican politicians are very, very good at telling bold faced lies.

Look at Ohio where the Republican Party and their supporters are using the woman from the Democrats ad. The woman has repeatedly criticized the Republicans and demanded they remove her from their ad. The Republican response is to take it to the Republican controlled Supreme Court.

Just another example of the Republican wealthy who buy elections by lying and denying.

That's why Romney is their candidate. The guy repeatedly flip flops and then says he never said it.

    "President Romney"

    I hate it.

People should read some of his religion's doctrine or the word's of some his religion's previous "prophets" and make a determination of racial intollerance with the religion and this follower of that faith who wants to be president. People criticized Perry about racial slurs on some rock at his ranch? They should read the racial comment in the religious doctrine that circulates around the globe.

Um, I don't know what you've been reading Mr. Ed, but the Mormon church is NOT bigoted. There are more members in foreign countries than there are in America. More non-whites than white. They are NOT discriminated against in the slightest, and it would help if you got some facts before tossing your mud.

The ultra conservatives can win congressional elections, but the party will nominate a Presidential candidate who has a chance of winning the swing voters, who consider the Tea Party a bunch of nuts.  All that Romney has to do is stick to the topic of the economy and he will be the next President.

Unless the economy picks up, and another terrorist gets killed - then Obama stays in

We don't even know if Romney was even born in this country. Neither he nor any of the other GOP candidates have shown their birth certificates. Shouldn't we make sure they were actually born here before we decide if they are eligible candidates? What are they all hiding?

I do not think Romney is their inevitable nominee. There may be a dark horse out there somewhere. Romney is too flawed for the repubs, and won't pass Tea Party muster. RomneyCare alone makes him a non-starter with most connies, specially the ones that need it most.

Repubs know they're in trouble. I suspect most repubs will just stay home when presented with the uninspiring field of right-wing retreads on what used to pass for the GOP. If you are not a drooling, rabid Limbaugh/Beck addict,or a Tea Bagger, you won't even bother leaving your driveway for these germs.

That's a really good reason to vote for someone Robert! We now see how the tea people GOP republicans make up their minds. Not by educating themselves on the issues, but dumbing themselves down to vote for Romney because of President Obama.

                    Robert,

I agree the republican Socialists must be dumped. Their constant requests for income redistribution and welfare for the well-off are beginning to get burdensome.

Does it really matter who is chosen to be the GOP candidate?

The choice is simple really, ABO 2012 or OMG 2012

                    ABO - Anybody But Obama

                    OMG - Obama Must Go

My choice has been made, not to vote for President Obama, regardless of the choice.

serious dems will concede that obama is a one termer and a giant disappointment.

check out other lefty sites. on this thread you have a dozen or so die hard libs.

it's just a shame that we will have 13 months more of the obama economy to live through.

As a casual observer, I think Romney is probably your republicans' best chance. I personally would like to see Newt with Santorum on the ticket. That would be a hoot. Romney is the least looney and his religion is no different than any other that subscribes to invisible benefactors. Just sayin'.

Last night we saw 6 candidates say no we cannot fix Washington DC, 1 say nothing when he supports a national sales tax and it was under attach, and 1 say we can, and with the support of the people, we will renew America.

I say lets get behind the only one who's primary focus is and the only one who has the will to renew America.  Please join me in supporting Herman Cain.

Intrusive or extrusive? I kind of like andesitic coposition myself, lots of sialic minerals to deal with, and without the bothersome mafic ones.

If you want Anarchy, Romney is your man. If Romney says something you don't like, wait a few minutes, his position will change.

Four more years of Obama grid lock would be better then four years of Romney chaos.

Romney would love to be the inevitable nominee and he's the classic Republican nominee - disciplined. on-message, tough to ruffle, unexciting but stable. But this isn't your grandmother's Republican Party and once people start voting in the primaries, anything could happen.

Romney is as stable as a 2,000 pound weight is resting on the tip of a needle.

Last night we saw Romney criticize Cain's plan for being bold and within the hour say we need a bold plan to fix DC. If you think being blown in the wind is stable, then I guess Romney is stable to you.

I know from experience Anarchy is the worst form of government. It eliminates freedom and prosperity. Romney will never receive my vote.

It's tough to ruffle someone who changes his mind every 5 minutes. On message, which message is that, the one I was for it before I was against it. He is disciplined, to change positions. You can count on Romney though, what he says today he'll be against tomorrow.

Romney does not serve in the military because of his religion. So instead of going to Vietnam, he goes to Paris (for his church). Muhammed Ali (Cassius Clay) did not want to go to Vietnam because of his religious beliefs. So instead of Vietnam, he goes to jail (which was not Paris). Romney refused military service. His five sons refuse to serve their country in a military capacity. Romney and his five sons all claimed to support the Iraq & Afghanistan wars, albeit actually putting themselves in harms way on the war fronts. And who will Romney place higher hommage to and serve first? Will he be a presidential puppet for the Mormon church and its doctrines and beliefs (I think so), or will he serve his country? Not my choice for president.

Once again you show your utter lack of intelligence. My grandfather was a stout Mormon of several generations and served in the Navy. Our current prophet, the HEAD OF THE CHURCH, served in the military. Whether Mitt chooses to serve or not is his choice, same as his sons, but it has NOTHING to do with the church.
