The Republican Party IS the political arm of corporate America and FOX News IS the Ministry of Propaganda. They make that absolutely clear in their legislation and in their speeches. Both also make absolutely clear that they are anti-labor, anti-minority rights, anti-science, and anti-intellectual. On the other hand, both support enormous federal welfare programs for the wealthy through tax protection for the wealthy, subsidies for big oil, and subsidies for corporate farming to mention only three. The wealthy are lining their pockets with taxpayer dollars, and yet, the poorly formally educated, far right wing, extremist, fanatical, reactionaries on these websites, who have little wealth but who have given their lives to the Republican/TEA Party/FOX News propaganda, are living proof of the power of the FOX News propaganda machine. Intelligent persons would ask "Why would working class people vote against their own interests?" "Can anyone be that stupid?" FOX News management said, "We can do it!" "We can play on the fears of simple minded people, and we can tell them what they want to hear over and over, and eventually they'll be with us!" By golly, they were right! Shades of My Fair Lady! Hat's off to the effectiveness of FOX News to bring the simple minded into supporting a plutocracy!

If Romney is the nominee the Tea Party will be seething.

I am an Obama supporter and realize that Mitt will be a formidable opponent.

But - after hearing two Tea Party head honchos within the last 24 hours say how Mitt is NOT acceptable to them as the nominee I really think many of the GOP base will sit on their hands in 2012 and not risk having Mitt in the White House for eight long years. They would - it appears - rather sit this one out and hope that one of their own can get elected in 2016. Add to that the deplorable stat - but apparently valid one - posed by Ed Rollins that 20% of the GOP base who are Evangelical - as well as many Evangelical Independents - would never vote for Mitt because of his faith, it seems that Mitt will not be as formidable as some would think.

I have also heard Anne Coulter say many times that if Mitt is the nominee the GOP will lose.

Of course maybe the Tea Party will run a 3rd Party candidate in 2012. That would make Mitt even less formidable an opponent.

Here is an even better story than this. As hinted at by Dick Morris and other campaign analysts, will Barack Obama be the Democratic nominee? If polls and voter outlook keep trending in this direction, how long will it be before Democratic Party officials start pushing Obama not to run for reelection. After all, 40% job approval at this point without any sign of a recovery at this point is a disaster. According to Morris, since WWII over 80% of all undecided voters coming into an election day have always fallen for the challenger. So the question is, will Obama be the Democratic candidate?

For so many months partisan repubs and conservative haters continuously drummed it into the heads of the American people that Obama had not accomplished anything while in office. They went on to say that he was an ineffective leader and that he had not passed any bills that were worth anything.

However, I learn today that Mr. Romney is proving himself to be way more honest and truthful than his conservative counterparts about the effectiveness of the banking bailouts by Obama.

What did he say? He said that many of the actions taken in 2008 and 2009 were needed to keep the dollar's value from plummeting and to keep many of us from losing our jobs in the banking industry. He said that the nation was on a precipice and that we could have had a complete meltdown. We could not have just done nothing. I'M SURE YOU CONSERVATIVE AND TEA PARTY SABOTEURS WOULD HAVE JUST LOVED THAT! Anything to put Obama in a bad light even if it would have been at the peril of America as we know it.

Well, well, have not we "keepers of the truth" been trying to tell most of you thick-headed conservative fear mongerers the very thing. We come on this site and repeat the same truths over and over again to no avail. You still deny it. All you mostly do is give a bunch of double talk and boring jokes. It took a REAL MAN from your own ranks to finally admit the truth. WAY TO GO, MR ROMNEY!!! GOOD FOR YOU FOR BEING A STAND UP GUY.

It's ok to report and comment about accurate occurrences concerning Obama's political performance. But, to tell blatantly ugly lies and half truths is beneath the conduct of a true American. MAN UP! YOUR BETTER THAN THAT!

At this point, Herman Cain has my vote! I like his "to the point" answers. Politicians obviously aren't working for us; let's try a successful businessman. I admire his drive.

Since the loonies have taken over the repub party Mickey Mouse could be their nominee and would be a better candidate than what's currently offered.

"Romulian Romney" is the biggest poltical "two-face" in all of GOP/RNC party politics. This individual has no origninal ideas, and he has mental difficulty deciding which policy he likes better. "Romulian Romney" also comes off as a real poltical and economic wimp. This is an inidividual that has not worked for an honest days work his whole life. "Romulian Romney" has no idea at all of what it is like to be economically crushed like is being done to the Middle Class right now. "Romulian Romney" has no idea what it is like to struggle with disabilities, and that the disabled can't defend themselves economically. "Romulian Romney" has only one agenda in mind. Economically, extend the "Brainless Bush" Tax cuts, and then open up the Corporate Tax loop holes. The large Oil Corporations will get even larger subsidies, and the attack on the US Constitution will be strengthened. This is fact!
