"I'm not sharing something I shouldn't, but China has blinded United States satellites with their lasers," said Bachmann, who reiterated that she sits on the House Intelligence Commitee. "They've also supplied arms to the Taliban, and they've helped North Korea deliver missiles to Iran and Pakistan. And they've assisted Iran with their nuclear program."
She also mentioned China's "cyber attacks"on the U.S. and "currency manipulation."
"China has widespread intellectual property theft of United States intellectual property," she said. "Don't forget that. They've also been engaged in industrial espionage against the West as well. And they actively have engaged in cyber attacks both on our military and on our commercial companies."

But seriously, if she sits on the Intelligence Committee, she must participate in their activities, so I don't understand what is going on. Does she not comprehend what is being discussed? Does she misunderstand? Does she not remember anything? Is she not paying attention and playing Angry Birds? Or does she intentionally lie and make stuff up?
Outside of a couple of the more bizarre comment, perhaps the laser thing makes sense and I'm not up to speed on it, she is just taking up space and air. Yeah, China doesn't play fair. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Proof positive is that Bachmann is aware of it, so no geniuses required. The point is, what can be done about it? Very little. Sound bites are one thing, reality is another altogether. I don't believe that Bachmann is as acquainted with reality as she needs to be. Or, she ignores it because it's inconvenient.
Now why would Michelle share this with us? I mean if you read Time,Newsweek or any of the trade publicationyou would get chapter and verse on this. Almost every week inthe hollywood press there a mentionof some new DVD reported copyright hijacked.

Michelle Bachmann is a Congresswoman and an "insider" when it comes to this kind of information, so the only thing that makes her comments "funny" or "stupid" is MSNBC's attempts to paint her as a "stupid" woman to suit the liberal narrative. We know Obama is desperate BUT this attempt to attack the opposition is so obvious. It's sad that the lemmings go along and continue with the derision of a U.S. Congresswoman and a tax attorney ! What do you think the US has been doing? Do you actually think that we don't do the same things as part of our defense policy? It's time to grow up! As far as size of our Navy, comparing it's to our WWI size is ridiculous. One of our missile cruiser could sink the entire WWI navy in an afternoon. As far as ending production of the F-22, we are in the process of starting production on the F-35 but am wondering which of the third world countries that we are going to use it on. Do you really see us duking it would with either China or Russia? Might be a good way to get out paying back our bonds that China holds. Russia is a non factor with a country that is losing population and has a decrepit economy that could sustain a modern war for more than a few weeks. It's time to see the world as it really is. The cold war is over and modern warfare is likely to be more of what we are seeing in the middle east and stealth cyber attacks with few fingerprints.

Bachmann is closer to the truth than you think. Both America & Russia have used Lasers in an effort to blind satellites. Perhaps Bachmann should have gave examples of all the ways Communist China is trying to trying to get ahead of us or, how it wants America to fall.
Look at China's vast spy network. In case Americans are not aware of it China, under William Jefferson Clinton, was able to obtain the complete designs for every nuclear warhead in our arsenal. Including the plans to build the Neutron Bomb. This Endeavour alone saved China billions of dollars in research and years saved in research. The doors became so wide open that China was able to leap frog its missile capabilities, speed up its satellite & space development; made huge strides in computer technology (both hardware & software); deployed advanced RADAR systems, greatly improved its Navy vessel deployment (blue sea) and improve its submarine capabilities.
Under Bush, the doors closed somewhat. In fact, early in the Bush Administration, China actually had the nerve to protest (the door closing) by causing an international incident (see P-3 Orion incident).
Under Barack Hussein Obama the door appears to be wide open again. Based on his wanting Americans to become "multi-nationalist's", his calls for America itself to think Multi-nationalist (see G-20 Conference, Canada), his (and Soros) wanting to redistribute the worlds wealth (including technology). His recent actions to give Muslims space technology developed by NASA, in order "to improve Muslim - American relations". And, the huge debt Obama has allowed with China (over 2 trillion dollars). BHO has even went so far as to say we need China in order to go to Mars. Notice BHO does not make the same offer to Russia!
China is not just signaling out the U.S. but nearly every country on earth that has something it wants or needs. To date, few countries have really been able to put China in check. On the other hand many countries, including America appear not to be taking China seriously.
Liberals may not like it but China clearly represents an exceptionally grave danger to our nation.
Yeah, that huge debt we owe to China, Time, is that all Obama? Or would Bush, Bush, Reagan and the laffer curve have anything to do with it? And I suppose it's not true that much of the debt of the last 3 years is simply the hangover from tax cuts and unfunded wars.

This woman is more dangerous than Sarah Palin ever could be - if she sits on this prestigious committee then she should keep her "secret knowledge" to herself and not use it to "better herself" for political gain. I am sure that if all these Chinese, Korean, Iranian and Pakistani threats are so "real" that everyone connected, including our president, is aware and "doing something" about it and protecting us. I am sick of this self-proclaimed "Godly woman" claiming she is the best at everything because she is more Christian than everyone else in this world. The fact is that China doesn't play fair. Free trade for many countries, including China, amounts to free trade for them but not for us. It's long past time to respond to this.
Militarily, China still lags far behind us. However, military power is dependent on economic power so I don't think things will stay that way. We need to get our economic house in order. We can't afford a big military if we think that tax cuts are the answer to everything. And we need to pay for wars we start (not bungling them would also be good) and also a lot of other things we Americans seem to want to have but not pay for.
WTF? When will this woman go away? When you think of all the people out of work, homeless and hungry we have people donating money to this nutjob. She needs to quietily go away and do what her husband tells her.

That's just what we need - M. Bachmann protecting us from the Chinese - next thing you know we'll be spending billions of dollars developing more star wars missile defense systems such as those Ronnie provided us with that we are using to defend us .... oops! I forgot that was one of those Republican presidential mistakes they don't like to do discuss.
