In a restructuring that seemed inevitable, the former Utah governor's campaign will move its headquarters from Florida to New Hampshire, spokesman Michael Levoff confirms.
"As evidenced by recent polling Jon Huntsman's support with New Hampshire voters continues to grow every day," campaign manager Matt David said in a statement, "and this move will ensure that we have the resources necessary to win the First in the Nation primary. Success in New Hampshire is vital for our campaign to have the momentum we need to succeed in South Carolina, Florida, and the states that follow."
The move will include staff layoffs. Some key players, however, will continue in their roles, including David, chief strategist John Weaver, and New Hampshire head Sarah Crawford Stewart. The campaign will keep a presence in Florida and South Carolina.
Huntsman, who saw a bump in a recent poll in the Granite State to 10%, last week acknowledged that he would be focusing singularly on New Hampshire.
Huntsman is due back in the Granite State for more town-hall meetings next week, and he will participate in the next two debates.

Spanky, Speaking of newsworthy....... A courageous statement by Herman Cain. He said African Americans are " brainwashed" into voting Democrat ( by all the hype and tactics coming from pundits who tout class warfare) instead of keeping an open mind and listening to what the Republican party really stands for. People need to THINK about what Democrats have done for people ( highest unemployment rates!). Democrats cater to Unions and special interests ( i.e. "green" company money pits).

Drive by--why do you like Huntsmann over Romney/Perry. Check out Huntsman's social conservative positions. Check out his conservative fiscal positions? They are all virtually if not the same from being pro life, pro gun, lower taxes, less government etc. In fact, only Romney and Perry have actually governed with more moderate positions as governors of their respective states. Besides the left media wanting to paint Romney and Perry as not credible and wacky for obvious selfish reasons, the reality is much different so why do you progressives like Huntsman

The Bachmann's ran a program for bulimic girls, some of whom were in the program for less than a year. The girls went to public school while the Bachmann' real children went to private school (though I wonder who the real father is). I'm surprised there hasn't been one investigative reporter willing to track down some of those girls to find out more about what went down--probably a MIA "mother" like Sarah Palin.
All this just shows how gullible conservatives are. So Huntsman, right, he's a damn bleeding-heart liberal (wink, wink). Actually Mormons do believe in the Law of Consecration. Look that up JS1, NJNB, et al.

I almost wish Huntsman would come out and say something totally stupid, perhaps something completely opposite to that which all the intellectuals in the country would instantly recognise as completely false. Then he would be the darling of the right, win the election and we the people would have a decent pres...win,win!
Huntsman may not be perfect on all the issues, none of the are. But at least he has the balls to disagree on some of the issues that the far right holds dear. Maybe Exployerdog1 is correct, that he needs to say something so far out that he gets some media attention. Time will tell. I just hope he can pull enough in the opinion polls to be invited to the debates.
