Christie is smarter on the facts than anyone out there. He knows what our Country neeeds and can answer any question without a teleprompter or needing a poll to tell him what to say. He's slick. In NJ the politicians took a pass on funding the state employee/teachers' pension fund for 14 of 17 years, in order to put through irresponsible tax cuts that helped get them elected. That combined with the rape by the investment banking community on the state pension plan's assets caused a financial nightmare - and slick Christie has somehow made teachers out to be the villains in all of that. Just what we need, him and his buddies, the Koch Brothers, running the country.
He isn't jesusey enough for the GOP. He has been governor here in NJ for almost two years and he has not once tried to make abortion or gay marriage illegal. He appointed a muslim judge (which means he loves terrorists) , has not held one single prayer vigil, he has never tried to de-science our schools, and he almost never mentions religion. He actually gets the whole separation thing.
He stands no chance in todays GOP. Todays GOP wouldn't nominate Reagan.
Gov. Christie is the only one that is a very BASIC Straight Shooter... and he not afraid to open his mouth. He is the only one that can cut thru all the Washington BS! He will cut BIG government, un-necessary spending, reduce all the BS regulations that stop progress and growth. He is an American for Americans!

I also wish, hope and pray, that the Democratic Party would bring in two or three popular Democrats into the race, besides President Barack Obama and before the Democratic Party Convention. If President Barack Obama is the only one in the race for the Democratic Party.., he will be a one-term president. The Democratic Party right now, needs to bring in more high profile, heavy hitters within the Democratic Party to run for the presidency and before the Democratic Party Convention. Too many people that voted for President Barack Obama last time or now saying and loudly.., "We will NOT vote for President Barack Obama, again.." Very well put. I'm like most people, or I'd like to think, that we need some real replacements in Washington. I think Obama gave it his best shot, but he's just not fit for this. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area where you either get the same politician or a recycled one. It's embarassing really. I wish I liked Christie, but his obesity is a real problem for me. I like Huntsman's intellect, he's obviously more intelligent than Perry. Bachmann is a Nazi. Cain is a kook. This election is more important than ever, we really need to choose the right leader.
The GOP wants the rest of the world to believe that the race will be over as soon as the fat man sings. Christie, like every other GOP candidate, has wings made of wax. Like Icarus, their candidates fly like a bird until they get to close to the sun. When these candidates enter the race, and their vetted, their wings melt and they fall like a stone.
Christie isn't any different except that he has some sense of the material from which his wings are made. When he says that he'd "commit suicide before entering the race" he's acknowledging that entering the race is tantamount to political suicide. I would be surprised --pleasantly mind you-- if Christie were to enter the race, but surprised none the less.
We need someone who will speak their mind about what they actually believe. Not someone who is going to say what the people want to hear. Unfortunately, there's alot that needs to be said that the electorate doesn't want to hear. I think Christie is the guy who can do that.
Christie's weight has nothing to do with whether he is qualified to be president any more than Obama's skin color.
While I am not equating racism to fatism if you will the left is quick to condemn voters who are against Obama as racists but are equally as quick to hurl fat comments as Christie with who they disagree.
Stick to the issues as this is all that matters.
Lastly someone above made a comment to another corrupt Republican entering the race, Obama is no less corrupt. He has been spending the last two week fund-raising from Wall Street to Hollywood with big donors.
I kind of think they are going to want a payback from him if he get's re-elected if not sooner.

Christie's weight has nothing to do with being qualified? Absolutely false. Studies have shown that effective leaders possess a high degree of physical stamina. He clearly does not have that. His obesity proves his lack of self discipline. He's a very bad role model. Thumbs down.
Absolutely. We need as many qualified candidates to unseat the incompetence currently in Washington. We need to reduce government and return to a free market.
In the highly unlikely event that Christie were to be the GOP nominee, he might be the first presidential candidate in history to drop dead of a heart attack. Geez, lose some weight lard ass.

I think the reason that there are so many that don't want Christie to enter the race is because they fear he'd beat Obama next year.
