...he would be just more cannon fodder for the MSM & Saturday Night Live...

Governor Christie is not fit for the Presidency or any office including Governor. He is morbidly obese which not only says something about his character, but about his ability. He sets a bad example for an already overweight and obese nation (Two thirds of the U.S. population is in this category and rising.) Studies have shown that effective leaders have physical stamina and he clearly does not have any level of physical fitness. He's a poor role model for our youth. In a few years, we'll hear about his diabetes and heart disease.

Aside from his weight, I found him very petulant towards that woman who asked him a question regarding schools on that radio talk show. It was a relevant question! If he has his children in private schools, then he needs to answer what's wrong with public schools. That type of behavior is uncalled for.

New Jersey made their bed with this fat piece of trash. Let them keep him. I think he is history in that state anyway.

The GOP must be getting desperate, Chris Christie - " Big Mouth, Big Fat A$$ Dumb Dumb". Chris should "WASH his MOUTH out with SOAP" the way he talks to people.

I doubt that he can run, most likely he can walk, but do not hold your breath for him to run in the NYC Marathon

Interesting how so many on the left are fixated with body shape and color.

First of all, there is no need for Christie to run; any of the GOP candidates already in the field are imminently more qualified than Obama. Secondly, the allowable answers in this survey, as with most on this site, don't take that fact into consideration. The problem the GOP has is that there are too many qualified and exceptional candidates already in the running; they have to choose the best of the best.

He's already said he's tired of dealing with the crazies! What more do you need, Muslim-hating, science-hating, we-hate-everybody Teabaggers? He'd have to be an absolute fool to try and satisfy THAT crowd. Hell, no, he shouldn't run.

Margaret, spoken with such compassion; if you really want to see a hater, just look in any mirror.

Substitute "black" for "fat" in many of the leftist post in this thread and you'll discover who the real bigots are.

nice try nazi, but you're born black, being fat is mostly a choice and eating to the point of obesity is truly a lifestyle choice and a poor choice at that. Hatred of obesity has nothing to do with bigotry

The GOP is searching for anybody who they think can beat  Obama, like Perry of Texas, Christie would be the flavor of the month, that aggressive attitude and that nasty disposition he has will not play well on the national stage. We do not know if this guy is for real, he is not well liked in New Jersey, and has a 48% approval rating, if the Democrats find a good and viable candidate they could beat him when he is up for re-election. All of the GOP Candidates look good until they get on the national stage and open their mouths, not much  substance comes out. Christie should not hold out any hope for 2016, Hillary will be running and he won't beat her. After his term is up assuming he wins re-election, he will have to look for a new job, as the position of President will be filled. There are several jobs available at Crispy Creme Donuts.

Well, Mr Steady, there are, as I write this, more than 550,000 foster children in the US. More than 100,000 of them are eligible for adoption. Where are your countless numbers of childless couples? They certainly aren't lined up to give these children a loving and permanent home.

Mo is right. The "Right to Life" stops at the first breath. After that no one gives a damn what happens to the kids.

This poll is so left, no point reading it. Go to real clear politics and get some unbiased results since they take an average of all the major polls. By the way, Obama has NO chance of repeating. Possibly he can run in Europe or better yet the middle east.

Bozo should definitely run. His addition would further enhance the GOP's Calvacade of Clowns.

Spider, really? If anyone has a chance against our president, then why are they trying so pitifully hard to recruit another candidate? Get Real, Spider. ROFL

When Christie railed against the Tea Party Crazies, well, I could've voted for him right then. If he runs, let him get in late so that the TP doesn't see his true colors until it is too late. Good luck Gov. Chris.
