Face it....the only one who would have a chance to beat Obama would be Ron Paul, but the tea party doesn't have enough collective sense to back him.

Perry does not seem all there. Well, neither does Bachmann or Ron Paul either for that matter. Romney is looking better simply by default. I do like Jon Huntsman but he is not backed by the party establishment and is not likely to win the nomination. I will vote for him though in the primary election. In the end, I believe it will be Romney as nominee with someone like Mitch Daniels, Indiana governor as VP. Neither Perry, Bachmann, or Ron Paul is fit for higher office. Quite frankly, it is amazing these people are where they are now. I think it says a lot about how much our society has deteriorated that people like this are elected.

Ron Paul needs to show America his consistency of the past 30 years and the inconsistency of his opponents.

Ron Paul, will like always make them all look like fools assuming they give him any decent questions tonight. Funny how they are all trying to cater to the tea party movement that Ron Paul started.

There isn't enough help for any of these circus candidates. It will be like asking Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny what's up. You can't keep screaming at the middle class to go away and expect them to vote for you and your Party. It's history for the GOP. Close the lid now and rest.

Ever consistent, never flip flopping, solid in the belief of our Constitution and the freedoms it gives all of us. Ron Paul will be heard.

        None of the above.

President Obama has the most to gain, after all, he is throwing away his voter base as fast as he can. So, if the Republicans succeed in their circular firing squad, then Obama may just be able to pull of a win in 2012 even without his base. After all, I think this nation would vote for a center right Obama before voting for any of the Tea-Party oligarchs.

Ron Paul is the only one that connects to the American people, and the only one that is able to beat banker Obama! Just like Paul says; the Federal Reserve, overspending Military, and nation building is the number 1 problems for America and its people!

        All,

Hate to clue you, all these politicians are nothing but a bunch of gas bags! Presidents don't create jobs. Jobs evolve over time. The clowns on Wall Street and our government basically gutted our economy because of their super incompetence! Any politician that is claiming he or she can create jobs is LYING!

Do you suppose that they will pound Perry for cutting 75% of the fire fighting budget in the state of Texas this year? It didn't work out so well.

The really wierd thing about that to me is that there were major fires in just November, and in 2009. In Texas, fire is going to happen. You would think that even someone for whom the only solution is cutting things, that would be the last item to hit the chopping block.

Obama will be the winner of this debate because he is the only one who cares about the American people, the others don't have a clue and will show it tonight. Please watch.

I agree, Obama will probably be the big winner because these candidates are about to have a contest to see which is the most extreme. I suppose that might be good for Huntsman, if what moderate Republicans are left are not too turned off to show up and vote.

I was slightly intersted in Mit Romney until I listened to him during the SC forum last week.  When asked how he would assess any major issue while he is President, he said he would first ask his wife what she thought and then assess what others said.  His wife?  Are you kidding!  Can the benefactor fo Hienz Ketchup be his gobal poltical  spirit guide!  Are you kidding me?  No  wonder Perry is breezing past him in the polls!

I thought Kerry's wife was the Heinz ketchup benefactor!!! However, I agree that Romney is out of touch with the real world and Perry is also. His world is the "country of Texas" and I think we'll see that he's not ready for primetime outside of Texas!!! They say that he's the dumber version of Bush...now that's really scary!! Let the games begin!!

So both Romney and Kerry are married to her? Somebody needs to explain polygamy to me again, because I totally didn't get it.

I think it is okay for Mormons to be married to more than one woman, but you can't be married to a Ketchup heiress and a Mustard heiress at the same time because that would be a violation of one of the ten condiments.

I would vote for Ron Paul in a New York minute, however his approach is so extreme that he will never be able to solidify a majority, which is why he didn't make it in the last election.  He is definately the best man for the job and would fix big government.  So, I will take the next best thing, which is Perry.  I pray that the Lord blesses him tonight in his words and opens the hearts and minds of all people in what he is trying to accomplish.  We can fix this country, but putting more corrupt and evil people into office, just won't do it.  Return to righteousness America before it is too late.....

I can tell you what I'd like to see the Lord do to him.

Perry has the most to gain. He's got more baggage than Romney and needs to apply his "Presidental Presence" (aka "Looks"). Romney and Perry are birds of a feather though. They'll just rearrange the chairs on the Titanic.

Bachman and Paul are better, but Bachman can't hold a candle to Paul's experience and knowledge. None of them have demonstrated the level of historical context, applied to policy, as Paul has.

Ron's got it in the bag. Michelle is fun to watch. Willard and James are the epitome of the "status quo" whose rhetoric is stereotypically "politically wind driven".

Rick Perry has everything to gain, and everything to lose. If I am him, I deny science early and often. Then I call for 17 trillion in spending cuts (who cares if that's 4X the budget). Then I come back with eliminating capital gains, corporate tax rates and any tax that might inconvenience a Billionaire. Winning!

I  think Huntsman has a lot to gain. He's the only repub who is actually offering solutions that are reasonable and can attract the support of independents.  Of course he'll never get the nomination in a party comprised of  ideological puritans.  However independents will be watching as well, and they could well support him as an independent candidate if he chose that route.

They all win, because they are all so intelligent and Obama is so stupid. Isn't that right Sarah??? Give it up for the tea cup repubs!
