Tea Party organizer 'had to cancel' Christine O'Donnell to get Palin to attend

DES MOINES -- Tea Party of America President Ken Crow told NBC News, "I had to cancel Ms. O'Donnell" after a conversation with Sarah Palin aides -- and is now hopeful Palin will attend the Saturday rally in Indianola.

He was told by Palin's team that he'd have a final answer shortly.

This comes after failed Delaware Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell was in, then out, then back in, and now indefinitely out. And Palin was in, then "on hold."

The group has spent about $100,000 on the event for Palin and are thus waiting "with baited breath" for an answer. An official press release will come out after Palin people give Crow final word.

NBC News has not received comment from Palin's team so far.

Now I'm no fan of Sarah Palin but I wonder if her people thought that Ms. O'Donnell was too far out there even for Sarah to be associated with? Especially after her disastrous promotions for her book.

So if I understand this organized wacko fest right, one wacko does not want to risk being upstaged by the other wacko. What would they ever do if the Queen of Wackos, Sharron Angle, decided to attend? I guess they'd have to wacko it out!

They are both jokes so what difference does it make. They deserve to be on stage together so we can all have a good laugh and something new to talk about.

Sister Sarah can't be around the witch Christine.... She can't share with her friends.... I guess the female coven in the tea party can't find a common potion.

So, the queen bee buzzed and the drone made haste to obey. what is Sarah going to do, announce that she is running? Offer to sign some books? Just show up and wiggle? Maybe it`s just as well if Obama speaks the same day. Nice if someone asays something sensible.

Curious that NBC would ignore this speech untill they can attack Gov. Palin. NBC did not mention Palin was going to Iowa. Even though the announcement had been known for days/

In the middle ages there used to be a sport called bear-baiting. Chain a bear to a tree and tease the crap out of him.

Just the mere mention of the name Sarah Palin is the modern version of bear-baiting. the libbies go into a frenzy every time. Great fun. Easy to rattle their cage.

Thats because she is to patently stupid and ill informed..we find it hard to imagine any rational person would not see through her BB but then we are reminded this is the party of Beck and Limbaugh and Coulter....

Sarah serves a very useful purpose. She is the lightning rod that takes energy away from the stupid libbies. They can't resist wasting time and energy on Sarah, who holds no office, and is not running for office.

Two hatefilled platitude spinning air heads that both think God is on their side. ..both testimony to the declining level of critical thought and increasing level of hate and bigotry that is at the core of the new conservative movement..c

These are the folks that want to deregulate Wall Street and regulate women's reproduction. At the Boston Tea Party, they would have been the ship's crew.

The more I see of women in national politics, the less I'd like to see women in national politics. Sure, I like eye candy as much as the next guy. But this is a continuation of the drama overload we've had ever since these broads showed up on the scene.

The American people are getting short changed. our economy should be getting much better but the republican congress has only passed 32 bills in nearly three years.

Boehner is scared to death of Cantor and Obama should just treat them like they do not exist.

Obama needs to rally the American people and get our nation moving again without the help of these racist biggots!

Obama should move on without the racist biggots Boehner and Cantor. These guys are from another planert.People should not forget that Boehner and Cantor voted with George Bush for 8 years 100 percernt of the time to fight wars in other countries to help liberate Non-Americans.

These 2 clowns are holding down a superpower while China continues to get stronger.

This should be the last straw. Obama has to tell these 2 phonies to kiss his ass and get the United States moving again.

These guys hate Obama with a passion and will never work with him.
