More 2012: Trouble for Dems to replace Weiner

NEW YORK: “State Assemblyman David Weprin (D) dropped out of a scheduled debate with Republican Bob Turner on Monday, just over two weeks before a special election in New York’s 9th district that will send one of the men to Congress,” Roll Call writes. “Weprin was tripped up in a recent interview with the New York Daily News editorial board when asked the size of the national debt. The Daily News reported that he had a ‘deer in the headlights look’ and then said ‘[a]bout 4 trillion.’ According to the most recent Department of Treasury statistics, the country’s total debt stands at about $14.7 trillion.”

WISCONSIN: “Former Rep. Mark Neumann announced Monday that he is running for Wisconsin’s open Senate seat, setting up a likely GOP primary battle with former Gov. Tommy Thompson,” Roll Call writes.

sad story the dems really loved weiner....

but in more important news....

Uncle Omar on top of being an illegal alien for some 40 years has a drivers license and social security card. Hmmm....I wonder who he voted for over the past 4 decades. I also wonder how much public assistance he has received as well.

This is tough news for Obama. He's lost the white vote, the female vote, the independant vote, and almost half of the moonbat vote. All the poor guy has left is the illegal wetback vote and now I figure they will be staying away from the polls for quite a while.

Rob in ma, you are right. A. Weiner was their loud -mouth- lying- liberal -pit bull and now they are left with Debbie Wasserman BULL Schultz and she's even LESS believable.

Clueless.

He'll probably still win, since New Yorkers only look for a (D) after the candidate's name when they vote.

when the average citizen knows more about the national debt than Weprin, as a politician, it is time for him to throw in the towel and save us all a lot of political grief. vote GOP!

Actually not knowing anything about government is a Republican trait. I think because they keep rewriting school books and defunding education. This Democrat not knowing is something new to liberals. If you have any doubts about my comment just look at the two airhead front runners for president on the GOP side. Bachmann and Perry. You'll see evidence of the debt of the empty space when they debate again in about a week or so on NBC.

Hey Ana, i think you mistake the republicans for the dems. The dems themselves were trying to change the education system and not just pump money into public education because IT IS NOT WORKING. They are trying to set up a merit system for teachers in order to ensure that kids graduate with a real education, not just a fake diploma. BTW, find out what Al Sharpton and Newt Gingrich are doing together in their initiative. The Republicans are not trying to defund education. Some in each party are trying to figure out what works. Throwing more and more money at a broken system does not work for the kids.

Hey Mo, look into it instead of attacking me. Like I said, find out what Al Sharpton and Newt Gingrich are doing. Don't take my word for it.

Former Governor Tommy Thompson is a laughing stock in Wisconsin.

He left the state of Wisconsin with a $3 billion budget deficit. This is something the Republicans party of Wisconsin has repeatedly tried to avoid. Thanks to Thompson running, Wisconsin will be reminded that Walker and the Fitzgeralds lied. The reality is a Republican ran up the debt in Wisconsin.

Just like the reality is the majority of the US debt was run up by Republican Presidents.

The Wisconsin Democrats became pathetic trained poodles of radical unions.

Their radicalism is backfiring, big time.

Though First Read was full of articles alleging the GOP Governor "overreached" , it was in fact the radical unions who overreached....

Wisconsin will go GOP in 2012, and Senator Tommy Thompson will be elected to a GOP controlled Senate.

Looks like Bob is trying to ignore the recall election just a month ago. Just to bring you up to date Bob, the Democrats picked up two senate seats in Wisconsin.

Question Bob. Why is the governor of Wisconsin trying to reach out to the Democrats? Could it be he knows he overreached.

Wisconsin will be lucky if they still have a republican governor in 2012. Remember the recall of the governor next year.

Isn't it funny how Bob tries to ignore the facts.

"wetback" vote eh? Careful Rob, your racist slip is showing.. You're the epitomy of voting poll knowledge that you know what President Obama has lost, right? Man, you extreme right idiots are truly astonishingly brainless beyond words.

"epitomy of voting poll knowledge"......the loss of support among whites, females, and independants is widely reported......your boy is in for a much bigger shellacking than Novemeber.

Too the progressives bailed on Hillary and backed a total incompetent.

Hillary is probably happy right now and feels vindicated. She and Bill are probably saying..........." good, these Dems got what they deserve with Obama. They have to KNOW now I was the better candidate in 08. Look at the trouble the country is in because they put a college professor in the most important leadership job in the country and he's in way over his head."

Just because you heard it on Fox (aka tea people GOP propaganda machine) doesn't mean it's widely reported Rob. We know you tea people think Fox (aka tea people GOP propaganda machine) is the only news organization out their. You must like being lied to Rob.

Your deliberate, continued racism and lack of respect for a grown black man by calling him "boy" just shows your lack of intelligence and points to the fact that you watch and believe in Shaun Hannity's idiotic blathering lies as gospel on Faux Noise; You may not like the man but to deliberately denigrate someone's ethnic group is par for the course for you and your ignorant kind.

As for incompetent, you REALLY need to look at Mr. Decider from the last election.." Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice.. uh.. you're not gonna fool me again."..

Lefties love to call you racist when you use the stiffs real name. Although who really knows if that is his real name. Seems like the whole bloodline is made up of illegals with fake social security cards.

Rob, this racist issue.....This is the reason Obama got elected in the first place. No one was allowed to ask questions about Obama or they were called racist by the liberal media. Now look at the mess we're in. It's the liberal media's fault we ended up with Obama as President. The man doesn't know the first thing about leadership! The Socialists in Europe actually gave Obama a Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing! ( and they call the Republicans crazy?)

I live in NY-9. Weprin is a non-entity outside Jewish circles (RE: Forest Hills). Assuming no Democratic shenanigans (which is unheard of in NYC, Dems break every rule in the book as a matter of habit) Turner can win.

Why don't you try calling him by his respected title of PRESIDENT Barack Obama? I called President Bush by his title despite how I felt about him. You can hate a man's policies without resorting to being racist as you've been. What do you hope will happen by being ignorantly racist?

No one has a problem with you using the MAN'S real name, it's when you go above being civil and resort to the backwoods, toothless ways of the 40's and 50's that make you look uneducated and arrogant. Your last sentence just confirms it; I heard others calling Bush a chimp but had no reason to chip in; he was just arrogant and incompetent and I only cared about his bad policies. Are you too hateful and racist to stop the name calling or am I wasting my time.

Chuck Schumer is probably out and about telling every union member (like he always does) that they have to vote for this idiot Weprin. I know teachers who, if asked, tell you they are voting for the Dem no matter what. If you ask why, they say "Schumer said we should." Union members get their marching orders in NY from Schumer. What a racket here in NY these Dems got going. Unfortunately, due to family and business concerns, some of us are stuck here.
