This thank you to Iowa video is complete with cheery music and laudatory press statements, including what could be seen as a subtle shot at Michele Bachmann on security. She includes Don Lemon from CNN, who got into a tussle with Bachmann’s security team, lauding the access he had to Palin’s team and that she answered all of his questions.
And, of course, it’s hard to ignore that growling bear at the end as she promotes a Sept. 3rd rally in Iowa.

I do my best, but at times when she crosses the line, I will call her out, each and every time. I cannot and will not look the other way. After Sarah's big incoherent speech at the lake about why she quit, the truth comes out years and a few millions of dollars later. Did her teaparty fans see that interview? Of course not cause it was on MSNBC with that "dike lady" they would say. Sarah still has her "donate" website out so her adoring fans can pay her and family to gallop around the states lying about running for President. Now she uses the media to make a video portraying them like they are so happy and acknowledging her potential of being POTUS. ...GIVE ME A BREAK!! In what way has gender played a part in how Palin is treated, specifically by Fiesty? I saw comments that spoke to Palin's hypocrisy, but nothing that could be called sexist. What's sexist is backing a candidate just because they are the same gender as you.
Palin has an anti-female agenda. She's every machismo "pig's" wet dream. A good looking female, that wants to limit the privacy rights of women, set contraceptive use back 40 years, narrow the definition of rape, and basically end all funds to programs that primarily help poverty stricken women, thereby decreasing the power of females in our society. I would say SUPPORTING Palin is sexist. Not because of her gender, or your gender, or my gender, but because of her stance on these things.

It seems as if many republicans rate Obama's ability to affect the world as a close second behind Jesus Christ. You people (you know who you are) claim that democrats have a blind faith in Obama, Ha you believe he has superhuman control of the world, and are disappointed in him every time the republican house proves he does not. The legislature collects and spends the money, enacts trade laws, gives out entitlements, creates tax laws, is responsible for the budget, ect, ect, not the executive branch. Republicans have to stop believing in Obama as a messiah, that have to stop looking to him to personally be their savior, republicans should stop worshiping him in that way, he is just a man. If they can't grasp the concept of lacking revenue and unfunded wars that last 10+ years (while simulataneously lowering the tax rate), and the effects of these things on our economy... I really don't think they're ready for economics on a global scale. I shudder to think what would happen if we tried to tell them about Wall Street deregulation, dervitives trading, sub-prime mortgages and the long term consequences of these things. Or how this mess has been coming since the 80's. Or the Dodd-Frank bill and how Republicans are trying to kill it. Or how Uber-wealthy people don't use these tax breaks to create jobs, but rather that money goes into high risk markets and holding companies.
No, I don't think they could even grasp that the U.S. could not spend another penny for the rest of it's existance and would STILL never get out of debt, because with the revenues coming in now, we can't even make interest payments.

JAS1: thanks for the link. I guess with all those smiling faces, most of the children don't notice that President Obama is black. Many smaller communities never get the chance to meet the President of the United States. Most Americans never get the chance to shake his hand or see him smile, up close.

 Maybe Don Lemmon got special treatment because he did not give Joe McGinniss a interview after Gov. Palin felt stalked by him. That lead directly to a PA. father and son being arrested by the FBI for threatening the Palin family. NBC did give Mr. McGinniss a interview. If Matt Lauer had been a little harder on McGinniss maybe her stalker would not have felt comfortble threatening the Palin family. NBC lectured Ms. Palin for using crosshairs, even thought Democrats have done the same. Words have meaning you lectured her. So do actions. and Joe McGinniss's actions have lead to father and son being charged.
Why do people want to believe Palin is relevant? She is not. If she wishes to run, so it wont go any where. It doesn't matter how many GOP parties she crashes.

NYMike, I couldn't agree more. If the trolling of a particular poster gets to you, "ignore" them. I don't agree with most of JAS1's opinions, but she (usually) does not stoop to name calling.
Name calling does not advance the discussion, it just lowers the opinions others have of you.
You should also not do name calling of the various politicians. You may have an opinion that the President is crazy, nuts, out of touch, ineffective, etc., but please don't use pejoratives. Whether you voted for him or not, he IS still the President and deserves respect. You may ridicule the actions, but please don't ridicule the person.
How do you not ridicule those that think facts don't matter? How do you not ridicule those that kill wildlife from Helicopters for sport? Any person who takes this or any election serious does not take this side show freak seriously. She needs to come back to reality and realize that she is a half term governor that is in no way shape or form qualified to hold the office of President besides is more than clear she know she does not have any interest in doing that job. Her number on interest is making as much money as she can and get as much as she can for free buy stirring up the extremist and fiscal terrorists.
