2012: All about South Carolina

BACHMANN: “Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann said Thursday that President Barack Obama has moved too late and with too little force in response to Syria's crackdown on dissent,” the AP reports of Bachmann’s speech in Columbia, South Carolina yesterday.

The Florence County Republican Party, who hosted Bachmann’s second event of the day, called Bachmann “the cosnervatives’ conservative,” according to Carolina Live.

PERRY: Texas Gov. Rick Perry will be in South Carolina today and tomorrow, stopping at a Florence restaurant and hospital, then going to a $75-per-person luncheon in Columbia to raise money for the South Carolina GOP.

NBC’s Ali Weinberg contributed to this report.

Did she offer an alternative...you know, what she would have done if she were President?

She's like all the other tea people GOP candidates. She's running an undercover campaign. Stay as far away from the main stream media as possible. Take no question and answer no questions, just stay with your talking points. Guy's this didn't work for Palin and it won't work for you. I know Bush got away with it, but his name was Bush.

It would be just like these doofuses to be in Myrtle Beach in Sept. to ruin my vacation! I might just have to think of another location for my beach trip.

Perry and Romney are both at the opposite ends of the extreme right, as Romney has the GOP and Perry has the extreme TEA party! Perry has taken a shoot-first and apologize later approach where Romney has stayed the course and veered slightly towards the TEA party then backing away. Perry's base is limited to the deep south where prejudice and bigotry still exists where Romney's base is spread out across the whole GOP spectrum. Perry graduated from Texas A&M University in 1972 with a 2.22 GPA, earning a bachelor's degree in animal science and has become a millionaire on Texas' tax payers monies. Romney inherited big bucks and has had some experience in business. Neither espouses the protection of the American public, but rather their own narrow-minded world to cut out American dreams. The fractured between the TEA party extremes and the GOP wrongs has set into motion a disturbing trend in this seasons' primaries. Bachmann was a flash in the pan when she won the Iowa straw poll, but will soon fade into the background of right-winged extremist. The rest of the field of possible TEA/GOP candidates will slowly fade into history and the cat fighting amongst the top candidates will go on. The TEA party has subverted any sanity, the once proud and now defunct GOP had, and made them irrelevant! All confidence in America has been abrogated due to the TEA party! All job initiatives will not be allowed to pass by the TEA party elite who are intent to stop president Obama by any means necessary! The prejudiced and bigoted Sen. Mitch McConnell, the bigoted Republican from Kentucky, the minority leader with the greatest cunning and sharpest knife, signaled his party's true purpose last year when he proclaimed: "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president." These Yahoos are not representing the American people they are on a bigoted crusade to take down a black president!

Here in Texas we call him "Schtick" because he has schtuck us with a busted budget and emergency legislation that bordered on absolute lunacy! Talking about "Jobs", the jobs he touts in Texas came from the federal government moving personnel around in the state. Perry tried to shove through a lucrative money-making deal with the "Trans-Texas Tollway" but was voted down by the people of Texas! Perry talks about cutting taxes when he passed a form of income tax on business.(see Houston Chronicle Aug. 17th, 2011) "Perry urged lowering local property taxes while passing a "Business Margins Tax" which has gone to Texas' Supreme court. Perry's pro business attitude is for those who support him financially or politically as he won the governorship with 38% of the Texas vote. The South Carolina primary will test the current candidates Perry, Romney and Bachmann in which the culling out will begin. Perry and Romney will duke it out and Bachmann was a flash in the pan when she won the Iowa straw poll, but will soon fade into the background of right-winged extremist. Perry's swipe at the Health Care Law passed by the previous Congress is meaningless as the Legislature has quietly placed avenues for implementation so Texas would not lose medical funding. The economic disaster he referred to was in fact brought about by the current 112th Congress' inability to pass any legislation that would make it to the Oval Office for signing! Perry failed to mention that he graduated in 1972 with a 2.22 GPA in Animal Science. Perry does not have an Economics degree, a Science degree or any other degree. Perry and has become a millionaire on Texas' taxpayers. South Carolina would be sorely mistaken if Perry did win South Carolina as he openly courts the TEA party.
