Bedford, N.H. – Rick Perry acknowledged the “trouble” he got into for appearing to threaten Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke.
"I got in trouble about talking about the Federal Reserve yesterday,” the usually full-of-braggadocio Texas governor said in a stop here today. “I got lectured about that yesterday."
That's different than what Perry said in Iowa, per the New York Times: “Look, I’m just passionate about the issue,” he said. “We stand by what we said.”
But he pivoted to take a shot at the White House.
"Yesterday, the President said I need to watch what I say. I just want to respond back if I may. Mr. President, actions speak louder than words. My actions as governor are helping create jobs in this country. The president's actions are killing jobs in this country. It's time to get America working again."
Perry bounded onto the presidential scene with much fanfare, but he was dinged for the first time for saying in a much-talked-about on-camera comment: “If this guy prints more money between now and the election, I don‘t know what y’all would do to him in Iowa, but we would treat him pretty ugly down in Texas.”
I mean printing more money to play politics at this particular time in American history is almost treacherous, uh, treasonous, in my opinion.”
Perry then accused Bernanke, a George W. Bush appointee, of doing so “to play politics” – something he said would be “almost … treasonous.”
That comment was met with swift rebukes from members of former President Bush’s administration.
“You don’t accuse the chairman of the Federal Reserve of being a traitor to his country, of being guilty of treason and suggesting that we treat him pretty ugly in Texas,” former Bush adviser Karl Rove told FOX yesterday.
Tony Fratto, a former Bush White House spokesman, in a Tweet yesterday called Perry’s remarks, "Inappropriate and unpresidential."
Perry has a fine line to walk – between the Tea Party and the establishment. He wants to be the candidate of both, and cannot afford for one side to turn on him.

Perry is a perfect Tealiban candidate...
When caught with a cowboy boot in your mouth...
Double down on CRAZY!
Any bets on how long before the turd-blossom reels him in?
I'm sure Karl has a whole playbook in this arrogant ignorant bible banging idiot!
Hell, all you have to do is google him - there's a treasure trove of treats on him...
Right out of the gate he showed just how un-Presidential he is and his total lack of knowledge of national financial policies particularly as it relates to the Federal Reserve and its Chairman.
You got lectured on it...you also gonna use THE Google.
Have a good day all..
I wonder which part of the CRAZY base did he get in trouble with.
Perhaps it wasn't the base at all 'cause they like that kind of red hot rhetoric.
..turd blossom and the hierachy will reel him in and scold him (afterall, they probably are still 'searching' for the right candidate)........Ryan/Christi!
Rick Perry is an absolute moron and Fraud. This guy totally screwed up Texas and now he want to screw up the whole Country.
President Obama 2012 for sure if this clown gets the nomination.
Oh Feisty, ask and ye shall receive:
http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2011/08/16/296866/rove-slaps-rick-perry-distancing-yourself-from-bush-is-not-smart-politics-strategically-or-tactically/
Of course, I disagree with Karl Rove; but hey, let them feast on their own for awhile.
Thanks GF! ;o)
Domenico and Jo Ling,
"That's different than what Perry said in Iowa" ???
Clever, an accurate statement (it wasn't verbatim from yesterday) ...... yet doesn't it suggests that Perry lied, changed his position ..... when he actually said "We stand by what we said,"
Nice journalistic shaping of the story and candidate - good job!
So, with regard to substance, what do you think about what economist are saying?
Got any quotes on Kudlow who thought Perry's style was way over the line, but thought the substance, the criticism was spot on?
Oh well .............
I'm not a big fan of anyone, but if any of the FR regulars think Perry is another Mr. Mittens, is not a consumate big time politician that is going to go after Obama ........ if you don't think the above quote will resonate with the American public ....well enjoy your popcorn ..... just don't choke if you get surprissed.
If he had the brains of a goose he would listen to what he is told. Instead, he doubles-down... And he wants to be President. It ain't gonna happen.
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!
I see the usual mob of Liberal Progressive half-wits are ALWAYS on here spewing their hate, fear-mongering, racism and vitriol against anyone who dares speak the truth about our current Imposter in Chief in the White House.
Feisty Deadhead Roselle, ILL,,,US Navy Delusional Veteran-Relapsing,,,Clara KKKCMO are forever planted on these threads to regurgitate their indoctrinated propaganda by the First Read malcontents.
The reality of this failed presidency must just chafe them from their panties as they witness one blunder after another. The anguish they feel from the "Great Mistake of 2008" must be unbearable.
ABO (Anybody But Obama) 2012
Says markmich as he spews his hate, fear-mongering, racism and vitriol against anyone who supports President Obama who he calls the impostor in chief as if President Obama wasn't elected by a majority of the American people.
Calling people names because they won't believe the barrage of propaganda from the right doesn't prove you are right.
The reality is that republicans have stopped any bills that might have a chance of creating jobs or turning our country around because they want to see Obama fail and if the country fails also, well that is the price we pay for electing a black man.
No anquish for my vote in 2008 and am ready to do it again.
If you love social security or hope to retire one day,
Vote all Democrats 2012
Obama 2012
Oxymoron?
Then they wonder why we won't listen to them or believe what they try to say....
Just another example of Republican/Teabag double standard.
Americans First-3238795
Just which bills would those be? The $timulu$? The one that only cost us $310,000 dollars to save, create or touch a life job? Those shovel ready jobs? Ooops, wait a minute, didn't Barrack Hussein and Jeff Immelt laugh in your face when they admitted there were no such jobs? EVER!
Inquiring minds want to know.
It's not even so much the hate speak with words like "treasonous" or threats like "treating him pretty ugly," as it is the total lack of understanding Perry showed when trying to talk about monetary policy. The man has NO depth.
And he's Old School while he's at it. The old dog whistle, conservative code crap, what planet has this Buckaroo been living on?
markmich,
Surely you can't be serious. I bet there's an empty rubber room somewhere and a bunch of orderlys standing around pointing fingers saying "I thought you were wathcing him".
markmich:
You really need to get out more. Over 400 Bills have been blocked in the Senate - FACT - Go look it up
Just this year alone the TP/GOP has blocked four (4) Bills that create jobs
Last year they blocked the Infrastruicture Bill
You are a hateful little troll talking out of the both sides of your mouth and neither side is saying anything. You just keep your head buried up your A$$ and we will move on without ya.
Markmich, US beat me to the punch, but PALEEEZE do your homeword before you spew stuff on here. Easy to look up the number of bills they voted for. Actually it is probably much easier to count the bills they passed.... I'm sure you can count that high. As for your elementary school habit of referring to Obama as Burrack Hussien or Hussein Obama, that is nothing more than your racist attempt to stir up other racist. Did you ever refer to Dubya as George Walker? Or Ronald Wilson? Gerald Rudolph? Hell to the no... you only do it and then say" hey it's his middle name"... nice try bozo.... keep up the good work.
" Where's Perry ? " is a common phrase from a popular children's TV show on the Disney channel, Phineas and Ferb. You gotta know that it will be picked up in the media eventually.
As to Mr. Perry's comments, it just goes to prove that he really does not know how the world works. He was elected and re-elected simply because (I know this is hard to believe) the next best person was an even greater idiot. Any dumby can be governor in Texas when oil prices are sky high due to speculation and new technology allows previously untapped oil and gas fields to be economically feasible.
Any time there is an economic down turn, it is very difficult for the person in the chief executive's seat to be reelected. When times are tough, blame the boss, when times are good, they get the glory. In either case, they really don't have the kind of control ascribed to them.
Like I said yesterday, everyday this guy opens his mouth, out goes a Christmas gift to the Obama camp.........lucky Barrack.
This guy is not McCain. I know you Liberals would love a play "nice" Republican but it is not happening.
The Obama camp is scared of Perry and that is why there is a coordinated effort to destroy him. Perry can match Romney's money and he has the swagger. ROmney will never be the nominee....that is a Liberal myth.
Republicans will not be stuck with another McCain this time around.
Promise?
Perry/Palin 2012 all the way!
" Perry can match Romney's money and he has the swagger."
Wow, ITM.....you sound like that Teapublican guest Chocola, from Club for Growth who said this morning that "Style over substance is a good thing"!...Well, Slick Rick certainly has style.
Yikes...........
I don't care so much about nice; but HONEST would be paramount and a refreshing change of pace.
A totally honest politician.....LOL...now that is the funniest JOKE of the day.
They all LIE..........ALLLLLLLLL DOOOO including your beloved Obama.
ITMofT, You really think the Republicans throughout the country are looking for someone with"swagger" as the first quality for their nominee.
Or is that just a Texan requirement??
This from the article is pretty hard to dispute:
"Yesterday, the President said I need to watch what I say. I just want to respond back if I may. Mr. President, actions speak louder than words. My actions as governor are helping create jobs in this country. The president's actions are killing jobs in this country. It's time to get America working again."
The democrats are going to demonize every single phrase, word and movement Perry makes. This is par for the course and expected. I just wish they would have done as much vetting with Obama before he was elected last time as they criticize every republican entering the race. Last time everything the conservatives said about Obama was totally ignored.
For as much as the liberals criticize every republican, and say their outlandish statements of disrespect and semi-half truths, I as a conservative am watching carefully as to who would be able to get us out of our current economic failures. It will be interesting to see what ideas are presented, who has the best ideas and who is most credible to put whatever plan they have into action.
If Obama is re-elected, we know what we are getting... a lot more of the same spiraling down and an eventual crash into the ground that will be devastating to the country. Simply said, Obama doesn't have a plan, hasn't presented any level of action that even shows the slightest upward trend and is hell bent on proceeding full course ahead with little to no course correction. I realize the liberals will view this as hate speech towards Obama, but I don't really care what they think. The blinders are on and liberals don't seem to care that Obama hasn't done anything to improve the economy. There are many ideas that can provide answers to getting our country going again... but they seem to be extremely void coming from the White House. I expect nothing from his September plan... because history has proven he's nothing but words and no action.
Slick Rick the red neck cowboy in turning out to be the new darling of the tea bagger terrorist.
Man, these people are dumbing down America.
Brianb: I don't have any problem with your opinion. You demonstrated what few of the Republians posting here have, respect for the man/position, even if you don't like his policies. You have not called him names, questioned his heritage, patriotism, or religion.
Although I hope you are incorrect in your assessment of the President's stated objective in issuing a plan in September, if you are correct I will be disappointed.
If any of the candidates on the Republican side have a plan, I would like to see it too. Thus far the only thing I can categorically state has come out of the Republican side is cuts for Medicare, Medicaid and social programs, increased spending for defense and additional reductions in taxes. Since tax rates and jobs in the last 10 years have had an inverse correlation, I would hope that some other plan might be forth coming.
Hey, everybody, I think Brianb has a point. We should back off, not say a word, and let Perry get the nomination, that would not only be the best thing for Brianb, but I think it would be pretty good for Obama as well. The only thing that might be better would be Bachmann getting it; I think we should let the TP'ers have their wish and get a Perry/Bachmann ticket for the Republicans.
Brianb, I know you probably think that Romney is really a Democrat, but what do you think of reports that Romney is not talking about Perry because his camp figures it isn't necessary. See, they seem to think Perry is his own worst enemy and that he has a big mouth (which certainly appears to be the case so far). That kind of thing may be great in Texas, but it probably won't get him anywhere in the general election.
Thanks for the insight, Brianb.
Strange - I was thinking the exact same thing! lol
We may be shooting ourselves in the foot...
I want to see him blowing kisses to Karl Rove.
"I've been a bbaaaaad boy."
I stated on Saturday that Perry was going into attack mode immediatley.
It is no secret in Texas their are many factions of the Republican party. The Bush side has never liked Perry and vise versa but both sides despise Democrats. The Bush insiders will always jab at Perry and Perry will jab back; but in the end neither will ever allow a Democrat to split the Republicans.
If Perry becomes the nominee or appears to be the front-runner; Rove will shut up and back him. Republicans traditionally has a pecking order and the establishment do not feel it is Perry's time but they will not destroy him for the sake of a Democrat.
ITM, TX: the only thing which will prevent Rick Perry from being the nominee is if Rick Perry continues to talk. I know many TeaPublicans criticize the use of teleprompters and staying on message, but Rick Perry truly needs to learn how to use those very critical parts of a campaign.
The more he talks, the more moderates he wil lose. Maybe if the Republicans continue to have extremist candidates who lose, the far right will go away and the moderates will take the party back and actually govern.
How did that Trans Texas Corridor (AKA NAFTA HIGHWAY) work out for Perry or the plan to sell the highways to a Spanish controlled company to operate as toll roads.
He attempts to politicize the Federal Reserve; accuses its Chairman (a Republican appointee) of treason, gets called on it by his own party and then says "I got in trouble" as if it were second grade and he got a time out? This is the future of our nation we are talking about here---would it be asking too much for it to be treated seriously?
Is that anything like Gingrich's passion and love for his country caused him to have two affairs? Sounds a lot like that lame excuse. Perry should be in trouble for his comments yesterday and the day before that. Too bad, his Texan rootin', tootin' cowboy swagger gets in the way of realizing he suffers foot in mouth troubles. This won't be the last giant step into cow dung for this guy, it's his way of campaigning. It's part of Perry's plan because by making outrageous comments like that, the media focuses on nonsense instead of digging in the Texas tumbleweeds for what Perry really represents. As long as the media is talking about this, they aren't talking about his book which outlines a very radical person with radical plans for this country; they aren't talking about his Army of God; they aren't asking him for specifics about creating jobs; they aren't questioning his state's last place finish in all the wrong things; they aren't talking about his dislike of public education; they aren't talking about his social security and medicare views.
You are so very right Jody. The media is treating Perry with kid gloves and not asking the real questions that will require a real answer. His record in Texas is devasting to education and the middle/lower working class.
And a frightening thing is that the Governorship in Texas is NOT term-limited!
Kind of like the guy at the carnaval (or state fair) who distracts you with his patter while hiding something under a shell. Where is the media asking Gov. Perry about seceding or about how Social Securit is unconstitutional?
If there is one thing both sides should agree on it is questioning the Federal Reserve---too bad so many have an unquestioning faith in the Fed---We argue so much with both sides about huge issues and both sides use Harvard/MIT types and everyone gets it wrong year after year---The federal reserve writes the song and plays the music that all of us dance to--it is time to question it, all of us. People are afraid of religion---be afraid of unquestioning reverence for a non-government institution that has no oversight.
Perrywinkle reminds me of one of the evangelical "praise Jesus!" preachers you see on Sunday morning television. Anyway, if Perry is going to brings the kind of jobs to the rest of the country he has grown in Texas....he can take them and shove em up his pie hole, since all he's created were minimum wage jobs. Hey, Perry, how's that drought working for ya?
patHuntingtonNY.......
God is still evaluating his request for rain 'cause God knows Slick Rick!...that' what Slick Rick in his evangelical rantings seems to forget........GOD KNOWS!
http://www.mysanantonio.com/default/article/Report-Perry-s-religious-giving-below-average-1420934.php
Hey, Slick Rick God knows what you have/have not done!
Remember, Perry held a prayer vigil or something akin to it to halt the drought in Texas. Oddly, it got considerably WORSE after that. Shouldn't true evangelicals be asking themselves why God would treat Perry in this manner? "Thou shalt not take the Lord thy God's name in vain" doesn't necessarily refer to swearing - it is meant to address things like Perry attempting to use God for political gain. The rest of the Republican field would do well to remember this...as well as bearing false witness (Bachmann wallows in this).

This guy looks like a cross between frankenstein and Dean Martin!!!
Would you please pass some paper towels so I can clean off my monitor? LMFAO!
EPA
Dept of Education
Federal Reserve
Why do Republicans hate these so much?
I am a Democrat from Boston and was horrified and saddened by what I discovered. The Federal Reserve is not part of the government. You should study Central Banking in total and then realize that the Federal Reserve is the king of all Central Banks since the dollar is the reserve currency.
Most intelligent people quickly become apolitical after studying Central Banking. If Democrats are supposed to be the party that really and truly cares about people then they should all understand Central Banking.
All-of-US;
well spoken. Central Banking is beginning to become the 'key' factor of the economy. Their relationship with Treasury is what's caused, and is still, causing the recession with no end in sight due to fiscal top-down policy espoused by the Fed vs. The Demand-side policy that Treasury should be championing.
Both sides caused, created, and can help in ending the recession but only in conjunction. The Fed has far too much political clout, which means their top-down fiscal policies are to be ongoing for a while. The balance is tipped too far in their favor.
Would you disagree?
Why do we hate the EPA, Federal Reserve, and Dept of Education?
Because they are UNCONSTITUTIONAL
Larry, take off your tin hat and get out of your momma's basement. The sun is shining, go play outside. These snarky comments have as much validity as yours.
Larry, did Fox tell you that? General Welfare...provide for the general welfare...If the EPA is imposing regulations on corporations to prevent hazardous chemicals from making there way into our drinking water, would you not consider that "general welfare"?
Larry, I could tell you that Perry using God as a political tool is unconstitutional as well, as that is my interpretation. Of course, the difference is that my interpretation would be considered far more valid than yours. There are plenty of reasons why your argument is specious...it sounds like you read that off Beck's chalkboard and got all excited in the ability to parrot it.
Finally tuff words about the President. Somebody has the Kahunas to stand against the house on the hill. He is right it is time to stop printing money. When they print money, inflation increases, those dollar bills in our possession then become worth less, gas prices rise as well as everything else because it take MORE U.S. dollars to purchase the same product. In some ways I think we would have been better off doing what Britian did by not accepting to raise the debt ceiling and tightening the belt, no matter if the people riot. But instead they should have used more than shields and batons to quell the teenage rebellion. As most of us know, there comes a time when you ask for more credit, but you can't get it. The U.S. gov't should not be the exception. But that would mean some programs would have to get cut from any current money. God forbid if we start by cutting pork barrel projects, and rebuilding funds for Iraq.
What needs to be cut won't get cut, D.C. is a pay to play town where the wealthy protect their wealth, the cuts will come from the people who don't have an army of lobbyists handing out sacks of money to Congressmen, people who are un-represented in Washington, the average American citizen. The best thing that could happen to this country is for the entire Beltway to slide off into the ocean putting the D.C. politicians and wall street robber barons at the bottom of the sea where they could cause this nation's people no more harm, and it would serve the countries best interests if Perry went with them.
Kahunas?
That’s ridiculous that he was censured for speaking the truth of who and what is at the heart of our economic demise
Well, do YOU want someone who does this (act before thinking) with his finger on the button??????
You should learn from this article and think before acting too IMO.
C'mon, Elinor - you can't possibly be serious. And who "censured" him and how? Do you know what that means?
I cannot believe the GOP is actually commentating that Perry is viable in a national election.
LMAO:
Hello, he wants to SECEDE from the Union
he approved license plates with the confederate flag on 'em
AND he has created jobs alright, jobs that leave working poor folks eligible for: ALL KINDS OF FEDERAL PROGAMS, like SNAP, FUEL ASSISTANCE, ETC... so he effectively has "created" about 500,000-- FEDERALLY SUBSIDISED JOBS it is like WELFARE FOR EMPLOYERS WHO REFUSE TO PAY WORKERS A LIVING WAGE, no? NOW what happens when he CUTS, CUTS, CUTS all the HELP those LOW WAGE WORKING POOR NEED TO LIVE??? What happens when that single mom of two, finds out the nearest HEAD START PROGRAM is now fifty miles away from where she lives? And that the public housing voucher that she uses to pay her rent, has been CUT, and that her 8/hr job now makes her family eligible for only 15.62 in SNAP benefits a month. WHAT THEN?
see my post above to Elinor.
A little (lot?) too spontaneous to fill the position of responsibility incumbent on the Office of President.
The party would be better off trotting out McCain and Palin again and still come out with the same results. (another lost election) I find it hard to believe that all we have to offer is these 10 clowns standing on stage doing their Hitler salute about not entertaining a 10 to 1 deal.
On security, Stewart says: "Michele Bachmann is a high-profile congresswoman. On the heels of the Gabby Giffords shooting, security is of the utmost concern to our campaign. We have a former Secret Service officer who's protected presidents and vice presidents, and if someone gets too close to the candidate, he warns them."
GEE DO YA SUPPOSE THAT PERRY ALSO MIGHT MODERATE HIS MOTOR MOUTH ABOUT SUGGESTING THAT BERNAKE GET TARGETTED FOR PHYSICAL VIOLENCE? And who the F is this big mouth to tell anyone in the Federal Reserve what they CAN do? Perry is a nutjob he is not electable and anyone who goes around writing a book that states Social Security is UNCONSTITUTIONAL is NOT going to play in Peoria.
Perry is a nutjob he is not electable and anyone who goes around writing a book that states Social Security is UNCONSTITUTIONAL is NOT going to play in Peoria.
Especially when it is OUR money that is taken out of our paychecks!
"My actions as governor are helping create jobs in this country. The president's actions are killing jobs in this country. It's time to get America working again."
=========================================================================
The media really needs to bring the facts out about what kind of jobs have been created in Texas by the good Governor Perry, they are ranked at the bottom as far as wages and benefits in the country, I realize that the Republicans think that is good enough for everyone other than themselves, but most people would be ashamed of such an accomplishment, one would think the press would see some significance in this and question Mr. Perry on the "facts" about his much touted job creation, but then one realizes they we are in fact in the U.S.A. where the press is bought and sold like swine at the slaughter house, one nation, under God, with Liberty and Justice for the rich.
Well, good news-
Your prayers have been answered!

Puts the lie to every single one of the liberal talking points. Unfortunately for you, Silver is a numbers guy- and don't lie.
Unlike the media.
????????????????
What do you find so good?????
Well, it's pretty good that the spin from the liberals is wrong about the jobs in Texas. See, it means that there really are good jobs being created in this country. . .
By someone running for president.
Means maybe we'll actually have some hope for POSITIVE change in 2013- after Obama is gone.
no joe: thanks for the link. The raw data (and some analysis) is useful. I do find it interesting that many on the Republican side do argue that "government does not create jobs" while at the same time blaming President Obama and the Democrats for not having plans to create jobs.
Kind of makes you wonder where everyone who is talking about "low paying jobs in TX" is getting their information from.
Try looking here. Very interesting info-
http://www.bls.gov/ro6/fax/minwage_tx.htm
Or this- The Houston Employment Law Blog
"Everything is bigger in Texas, including the number of low-wage workers. The Fort Worth Telegram reports that the lone star state has the highest number of workers earning minimum wage or less, with 474,000 people working for that magic number of $7.25. This is more than double Florida's minimum wage sector of 215,000 workers.
Texas minimum wage workers actually account for 13.3 percent of the total U.S minimum wage sector. Most of these workers are in the leisure and hospitality sector, primarily working in food and beverage service."
Information compiled from BLS statistics.

HoJoBloMo,
So you're saying you're putting your faith in someone's BLOG?
Leave it to you ignorants to post someone's BLOG as factual information, not unlike you posting an Op-Ed link.
Smells like desperation to me, HoJo...
Got in trouble? You should have gotten arrested for threatening!
feirsty just worry about your god obama and chug some malt liquor you'll be fine
At least he is not Perry who has been chosen by God to lead our world into the rapture.
Looks likes someone not named fiesty has been chugging the malt liquor and so early.
A. Obama has not signed the Norquist pledge to kill America
B. Obama has not pledge himself to the rich above America
C. Obama is not a my opinion trumps facts and history tea partier.
Obama 2012
Oddly, the only people I ever see that refer to Obama as a god or a messiah or any other such nonsense are those on the right. Especially those with no real arguments. Interesting.
Do you think he was talking about W? Wouldn't surprise me much.
feirsty just worry about your god obama and chug some malt liquor you'll be fine
Once wasn't enough?
Jim is having difficulty with original thoughts. Leave him alone.
You truly are an idiot!
Just curious...do the conservatives on this board really stand behind Rick Perry and want him to be President?
Gail
They stand LOCKSTEP behind whichever R will get the most votes. Apparently that ain't Bachmann these days; but they have 10 months to make up their mind.
> do the conservatives on this board really stand behind Rick Perry and want him to be President?
NO. He has hardly started his campaign and all he talks about is Texas this and Texas that.
Does he love Texas or America?
Does he love Texas or America?.......
gurudev......Slick Rick loves a country called Ah-mar...ka?
wherever that is! lol
I'm registered dem and i'd vote perry over obama if the election were today :) So howsabout 'dem' apples?
Obama didn't come through with anything that I cared about. Not one thing.
Besides, something that makes all my dem buddies a bit nervous, is I'm a california guy. And our state is wrecked with unemployment. Rick perry starts showing he can add job numbers in big ways, even to our miserable business climate he could take the state.
at least 90% of those jobs he "created" came from California..... how bout DEM apples?
California is one of the states that Perry has been stealing jobs from. Companies have been moving due to the lack of regulations and state taxes in Texas. Not really new jobs just stolen jobs. Of course there is the oil jobs, but that is due to oil in Texas and whoever was governor those jobs would have still happened.
Mr. job creator is not quite who he pretends to be.
@teknishan....
You may want to check into the types of "jobs" Rick Perry is bragging about bringing to Texas.....BELOW MINIMUM WAGE!! We (Californians) couldn't survive on these wages...
A true democratic would never vote for anyone like Rick Perry...if you are paying attention to what's happening in the House of Reps (GOP majority), they have voted against EVERY SINGLE job creating bill (Infrastructure bill, just to name one). Please, please, please check into this dude before you just ride along with his CRAP!!
teknishan, why is it that I don't believe anything in your post? Did you register as a Democrat so you could vote against somebody in a primary? You can change back now, since asinine open primaries will be used starting in the next cycle. Guess that was done so everybody can screw with other parties' candidates.
Say, pretty-boy? How's them expensive TX boots tasting? Dumba**!
I would call Perry a "prune face" before anything else, because he definately AIN'T pretty.
No, he got lectured for being an IDIOT.
He's not supposed to let that out until AFTER the election.
