Pawlenty: 'Stick a fork in' Obama. 'He's done.'

WATERLOO, IA -- Tim Pawlenty continued to rebuke of President Obama's economic policies here at a the Black Hawk County Republican women's luncheon.

Pawlenty recounted a conversation he had with a 10-year-old boy, who told him that keeping  taxes low will give people more money.

'We shouldn't have to have a 10 year old know more about the economy than the president of the United States," said Pawlenty. (In fact, Obama has continually cut taxes as president -- whether it was through the stimulus, extending the so-called Bush tax cuts, or enacting payroll tax cuts.)

In his first two stops today, he has remained focused on Obama, and has only generically mentioned the rest of the GOP field.

'His time is up," Pawlenty said of the president. "He's had three years in office. Stick a fork in him. He's done."

Pawlenty and Bachman: These two are good examples of what the American voter needs to watch out for. My momma taught me the meaning of respect! These two have no clue as to what respect is. You may disagree with someone and that's fine but putting someone who doesn't show respect in Washington get's you what you saw over this past month, politicians who were more interested in being cute than getting the job done. We don't want anymore of that. Actually I don't think the US can stand anymore of that!

what has the GOP done to improve the average "Joe's" life. Nothing now and nothing during the Bush years. Lets remmeber who created this problem and it was not Obama. The tea baggers and the rest of the GOp are again trying re-write history. Can anyone name one economic domestic policy that has been done by the Bush era other than the slashing of taxes for the rich. They insisted that these tax custs would create jobs. Almost the entire bush era we lost jobs and the economic divide between the poor. middle class and the rich became the widest ever. This theory has been dis proven but yet they ask for more and more tax cuts.

I cannot figure out one thing about the GOP. Most are conservative christian who should believe that helping the poor aged and injured their christian duty. But yet these are the very people they continue to hurt the most. I will admot that I am not of the christian faith.

None of Obama's so called tax breaks can count because he's spent far more than any other human who ever lived.

wow, you have your history way off, Reagan, and both Bus's on a percentage basis make Obama look penny pinching. And let remember why he had to spend more, be cause of Bush. He left this country in such bad shape.

Not so sure I'm as worried about obama as I am some old man in a suit claiming to be having national economic discussions with a 10 year old boy.

Pawlenty has no chance! This kind of attitude is going to help Obomba win again!
Stop with the assumption the election is a lock already! So much can happen. The
GOP better start looking for a Dynamite Combo instead of the candidates that are
out there now. I see nobody I'm thrilled about. I'm not Demo or Repub but I would
not vote for Obomba with his radical socialist lib agenda destroying this country!
Get your head out of the sand GOP and Tea Party and get a candidate that can
defeat Obomba! Right now I see now no one even close. Romney ain't it!

Pawlenty, as governor of Minnesota, stood by and did nothing (in spite of the pleas of many concerned citizens) while a Minnesotan resident was forced to undergo the horrific human rights abuse of forced electroshock. Ray Sandford stated that he did not want to receive electroshock, but was repeatedly forced to undergo this barbaric "treatment" that causes permanent and irreversible physical and mental damage. If Pawlenty cares this little about the human rights of Minnesotans, it is no surprise he would make such a gross "joke" about President Obama.

Tim Pawlenty ought to look in the mirror and stick a fork in himself.

He was "done" almost before he announced.

He barely registers in the polls. Barely registers!

P.S. By the way, I predict the Republican nominee will be someone who has not only not announced yet, but isn't even on the country's radar screen (except maybe deep, deep Republican insiders). That's how pathetic the Republican field is ... The danger for the Republicans is that that person will pick a Tea Party freak like Perry or Bachmann for VP. Remember Sarah Palin, who eventually brought down the McCain ticket.

What an idiot you are pawlenty . Someone should stick a cork up your a$$ , feed you a lotta of beans and cabbage , tie you up and watch you fill up with methane and explode , sadistic isn't it . You  see not only tea party and republicans can think this way .

The only thing that is "done" is the House Freshmen Republicans. They brought this upon us, no new taxes, no end to Bush tax cuts, and they will get their way or shut the government down. Voters are not stupid. The GOP and the House are accumulating over 50% of the blame for this economic mess in every survey I have seen. Welcome to the results of the GOP's economic terrorism approach to politics.

No liberal is willing to place blame on the current administration for the excellent job it has done in Washington.

                      • 9.6 unemployment rate and climbing.
                      • Dropped credit rating
                      • Debt ceiling increase
                      • Continuing wars
                      • New wars
                      • Immigration policies
                      • Gas prices
                      • Bush tax credits extended
                      • Unemployment benefits extended
                      • Obama care
                      • Cash for clunkers
                      • Homeowner subsidy
                      • Iran’s nuclear program is full throttle

Obama has done an excellent jog in spending tax payer dollars and stimulating the economy as evident by the unemployment rate sure to be higher in the long run. They continue to blame republicans and the tea party for the current administrations failed policy and failed leadership. The creative ways liberals find to blame the republicans is amazing and unbelievable. The liberals have become blind zombies following a failed leader. Correct me if I am wrong. The president is supposed to provide leader ship...

                      I think we got screwed.

Texas has the best job creation in the nation; they also have a balanced budget. I can't guarantee you will continue to get your government handouts, however I think Perry puts Obama to shame.

Balanced budget huh. Let's talk about that. Rick Perry balanced the Texas budget with a little help. $6 billion, BILLION!, worth of federal help from the Obama stimulus package, which Perry then turned around and tried to beat Obama about the neck and ears with. Yeah, baby, let's have that kind of gratitude, let's have that kind of integrity in the oval office. And you want to talk about shame? Really, I don't think you should go there.

I would enter my comments, but I am so shocked that the remarks and solutions to our very severe financial problems coming from the right wing of the Republican so-called political party that I am speachless that this is the best choices that they can produce to lead their party.

This Perry from a racist background now Hugging a Black man and throwing/blowing kisses across the room maybe to who knows who. I wonder if is idea to secede from the states and become part of Mexico was squashed because he could not pass the mexican language test. This turkey and Palin/Bachmann would make a great ticket for Obama. Wait until his questionable character traits and decisions come out plus all the stimulus loot he has used wrongfully that will become a big question along with some of his secret living traits he will have to drop out. TEXAs politicians HAVE ALWAYS HAD TO LIVE A RISKY LIFE AND HE WILL SOON GET CAUGHT.He will need all his prayers to cover up his secret lifesyle.
