The Bachmann campaign released its third television ad today. It will air statewide in Iowa. In the ad, entitled “Believe It,” Bachmann stresses her votes against raising the debt ceiling.
The ad is set on a street corner in Ames. Bachmann addresses the camera as music plays. “Back in Washington,” Bachmann begins, “politicians are looting the Treasury and bankrupting our nation. And Barack Obama has driven our economy into a ditch.”
Bachmann says she voted against raising the debt ceiling because “someone needs to say ‘no.’ ”
The ad ends with a plea to come to Ames for the straw poll.
Full text of ad below.
Full text of the ad: “Back in Washington, politicians are looting the treasury and bankrupting our nation. And Barack Obama has driven our economy into a ditch. Someone needs to say ‘no.’ I voted against raising the debt limit because it’s time to balance the budget and pay down the debt. I mean it… and you can believe it. I’m Michele Bachmann, candidate for President, and I approve this message. Won’t you join me here in Ames for the Straw Poll, and let’s send a message to Washington.”

Bachmann begins, “politicians are looting the Treasury and bankrupting our nation. And Barack Obama has driven our economy into a ditch.”
That just proves how ditzy this broad is!!!
Nutso has robbed the government with...
a. medicare payments to her husband's crackpot clinic
b. her farm subsides
c. freddie mac loans
Freddie Mac and she blameeed the government-backed loan programs for excesses that helped create the financial meltdown in 2008.

She is really a dumb bunny!!!
What a poor excuse for a lying hypocrite. At least the facts straight.
Bat sh!t crazy Bachmann has never met a 'gubment' handout - she could JUST SAY NO too!
As Bev details above! ;o)
Then there's this:
Given Michelle & Marcus Bachmann’s proclivity for wearing their anti-gay views on their sleeves,
while bilking Medicaid under the premise that they can ‘pray the gay’ away!
Now you do the basic math here and this equals almost 5 teenagers per year in her district.
As an elected official WHAT is she doing to address this epidemic? Besides absolutely NOTHING!
If this isn’t outrageous enough:
I don’t care which side of the aisle you sit on – kids are dying while Michele & Marcuscontinue DENYING!
Bachmann is absolutely correct. Some one really need to say to her type of lies.......that kind of good for me but bad for you lies.
Bevy, where the .....have you being? Nice to see you back.
Nice to see you back, Beverly.
Pius Emeka Nebo
Bevy, where the .....have you being? Nice to see you back.
Thanks good to be back. I visited my relatives in East St. Louis and Minnesota.
Welcome Back Bev!
Welcome back, Bev...
But, sorry.
Michelle Bachmann will NOT be the GOP 2012 Presidential candidate.
You wish...
She will be supporting the 2012 GOP candidate, though.
Hey Bev,
Good to see you back.
She could have added "and they only needed 217 responsible people".
I plan on voting for her in the primary, assuming she hasn't folded by then.
Bev, Fesity - really good posts.
Bachmann's ad does something else: It demonstrates that she is utterly and completely ignorant of the very issue.
As has been discussed here in recent days ad nauseam, the debt ceiling vote itself was not to authorize new spending. Saying "no" only meant that Bachmann repudiated existing fiscal obligations of the United States. And whether any of us liked the result of the bill (I most assuredly do not), it did in fact contain mechanisms to reduce spending now and in the future, thereby also lowering the need of the U.S. to borrow to meet Congressionally-approved expenditures.
Bachmann is intentionally playing on the confusion and ignorance of the public. She is intentionally distorting the facts to prey upon emotions. Bachmann indeed not only displays her own ignorance, but her complete lack of integrity.
How's that possible if PA is a Close Primary state? I assume you know what that means right? I'm sure you do, maybe you dabble in a little voter's fraud eh?
Huh? What planet was Bachman on when GWB and the Republicans ran the country into a ditch?
Or else she's just another Republican with amnesia.
The economy being run into a ditch by Republicans is what helped President Obama get elected, but you can't expect a wacko with migraines to remember anything.
Paul, you silly little boy, i am a registered republican. I will be voting in the primary. Do i need to explain myself any further?
Maybe it was the migraines.
Okay, I'll sacrifice my principles for this moment and do what she says.
No. No to Bachmann. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.
NO.
So Bachmann is working the street corner and saying NO? Where's the job creation in THAT?
Can't a John catch a break?
HA, you're a Republican?? No I guess not, explain yourself, now that is funny as hell!!! You are one screwed up dude, good for laughs though. haha,
Or you're a registered Republican that votes for a weak candidate, then that pretty much makes you a dumb a@@. So either way, you have issues and by your posts you most likely anger issues. You're a hoot Tiger, keep on keeping on.......haha
Bachman claims "President Obama has driven this economy into a ditch." Of course what she doesn't mention is that the economy was already in a ditch when President-elect Obama came into office. Since then, the Republicans drained the gas out of the bus, allowed the Tea party to set it on fire and held a gun to the drivers head so he can't get it out of the ditch. Then, the Republicans rested and and then they celebrated. After all they clearly will be remembered by future generations and historians as the ones who made this recession and kept it there for a long time. They are the rightful owners of this mess.
Hi Bev--We all are trying to scrape Bachman off our shoes. What a mess!
Obama's contribution to the debt is a direct result of the ineptitude of the former President and his lackee cabinet. Period. Please stop denying the truth right in front of your face my friend.
bigMike-1994020
Is that a borrowed line from Beck, faux news or Rush? try to think for yourself......it does no harm.
Obama is responsible for Obama, period. Did Obama want the job? Did Obama campaign for the job? Did Obama say he could do the job? Did Obama fight tooth and nail for the job? Did Obama get elected to do the job? Did Obama take the oath to do the job?
Why do all you liberals make up excuses for him? The moment he took the oath of office, the job was his. No matter what the conditions were, he accepted responsibility for all of them. He knew what was out there. He fully accepted everything that came with the job and now you bozo's keep on saying that he was handed a raw deal. Not so fast.... he could have refused the position. He could have said... the job's way to hard for me to handle... He could have said that Bush left me in a position where I can't accept this job because the cards are stacked against me. Did Obama do that? Nope. Obama accepted it and now 2 1/2 years later, the liberals are STILL making excuses.
That's all they are libbies... excuses. Why won't you just lay it down and admit that your guy isn't up to the task? Obama had it all! He had rampant support in Congress... he could have chosen to turn this economy around and make us all rich. He could have done something about unemployment. He could have done something about the economy... but he didn't and you are still making excuses for him.
Tom---you have it exactly right-----the economy can't get out of the ditch the Republicans put it in because they are keeping it in the ditch, despite the best efforts of the President.
Sure but none of this changes the fact that he was left with a @!$%#ty economy and high unemployment by the previous administration. An economy that took Bush 8 years to screw up and you idiots expect him to turn it around in two. That is why we keep "reminding" you that this is not Obama's economy or recession. It belongs to some other a-hole, you know the only a-hole that could bankrupt an oil company.
Tom, best descrition yet of the job republicans have been doing.
And when Obama leaves office in Jan/2013, he'll leave a much worse economy to the next President who ever he/she may be. But I certainly hope that new President doesn't whine and complain as much as Obama does. Rather, that new President needs to get down to the business of solving the countries problems, and unlike Obama not constantly make excuses why they can't.
Bryan - tell me you aren't an idiot. When you accept a job, you accept it hook line and sinker. It's your responsibility to do the best job you can. You don't blame the previous guy, ever! You bear down, take the bull by the horns and forge ahead.
How many times has Obama gotten on the air and told the American people that it's all Bush's fault? How many times has he played for sympathy in his quest for popularity? All this guy does is blame everyone else. He hasn't taken one shread of responsibility for anything. Not long ago, he was asked about the stimulus package... he laughed when he said I guess there weren't as many shovel ready jobs as I thought. What an idiot!
And you libbies keep on rolling along... kissing up to the great blamer. ::oh, Obama is doing such a good job... he's the only adult in the room... he's my hero::
The guy couldn't lead if he were taught how. Great leaders blame no one! They take responsibility, do their level best to make improvements and in the end, the proof is in the pudding. Look around libbies... things aren't any better... in fact they are WORSE! Stop making excuses for Obama. When he takes leadership, I might even support him, but HE has to do it first. So far, he's been a dismal disappointment.
Obama wanted the job, said he could do it and won the election. So far he's failed at just about everything he's put his hands to. We are not better off today than we were in 08.
Bryan,
You don't understand that the economy was precipitated by the collpase of the housing market, that Dems are at the very least 50% reponsible - Obama was after all the recipient of more Fannie and Freddie money than anyone except Dodd, another dem (Kerry another dem rounded out the top 3).
You're not aware that unemployment was at 7.2 % when Obama took office before climbing to 10.1%?
You don't realize that an average of 67,000+ jobs where being added between January 2009 and April 2009 with 228,000 being added in April alone, that the next month after Obama passed Obamacare - jobs dropped from 228,000 in April 2009 to 48,000 in May 2009 and have averaged 1/10th the average of Obama of Obama's first four months!
You are not aware that we have been in a recovery for over 2 years, not a recession. You know the difference right?
The recession officially ended in June 2009, before Obama even really tried to address the economy (ObamaCare - see above for how that helped.)
Nope even despite all of the above - over 2 1/2 years and 4 trillion, the biggest Keynesian spending experiment in the history of the world - pretty much buys you the economy for anyone ...... except of course, the most devoted leg humpers.

OK- here's the scenrio- you are on the assembly line which makes 3-peckered-goddamnits. Your job is to bundle them up with cable ties as they come off the lines of the 3 guys ahead of you. They feed you the items you are to bundle. THey want to see you get fired. What do you do when they all decide to stop work, and stand there with their lines shut off so you look pretty damned inefficient? Forge ahead? With what?? What if they even say 'this will be your Waterloo', or "our main task is to stop you from succeeding in the performance of YOURS"? Do you tell the boss? If you do, does that make you a whiner?? What's the answer, smart guy?
DBO, the casualty count is now three keyboards and two monitors. I LOVE your stuff!
Bachmann is a brand new fool and anybody who thinks this rving lunatic can be President should check themselves into an insane ayslum.
She is too stupid to get out of her own way. Stating emphatically that she will never vote to raise the debt ceiling. Well, as President Bachmann in 2013 either she will raise it or she better send in her a surrogate to do it. Otherwise...Default here we come!
Bachmann 2012!
Delicious!
All this argument about whose debt it is. Haven't you seen the New Spending Chart that was published in the New York Times on July 23? It shows how the new spending by GW Bush from 2000 to 2009 compares to the new spending and projected new spending for Obama from 2009 to 2017. The article is called How the Debt Got This Big, and it shows that Bush added $5.07 trillion in new spending compared to Obama's $1.44 trillion. Obama's spending is not as you are portraying it.
The most amazing phenomenon is that Liberals think that adding to the deficit will have a positive effect on their lives. When the govt. money runs out, so do the hand-outs. So, I wonder what the Liberals are going to tell their kids and grand kids........" Honey, you see, in my day we fought hard for the govt. to SPEND way more than what the country could afford. Now, there's nothing left for you. So, GET A JOB and pay taxes just like the Republicans have done for generations."
"Bachman claims "President Obama has driven this economy into a ditch." Of course what she doesn't mention is that the economy was already in a ditch when President-elect Obama came into office. Tom, Yreka
So nice, I had to say it twice!
Thanks fpr stepping in there DBO. Brianb is really as stupid as he sounds. Not once did i say anything about the president whining about the job he took. But Brianb won't get off his high horse long enought to read what i said. The president was left an ungodly mess to clean upo and you specifically Brianb are criticizing him for not getting it cleaned up. Period. Now go jerk off in the corner or something. You sound like you need to get laid.
There you go Joanna, i fixed up your statement for you. You should really proof read first.
It's alot better than losing 800,000 jobs a month eh Bob?

You are describing a leadership position? If you can't even tell the difference in your scenerio than the leadership position that Obama campaigned for are apples and oranges, there is something wrong with you.
Let's dissect your example. Three guys in front of you on the line... HOW does that equate to Obama? He's the only one on the line. There aren't 3 guys in front of him... President is a lone position and I dare say that Bush was off the line after Obama was elected. Since the libbie bozo's blame Bush, your example doesn't even make sense.
In the example you describe, if it were me, the men not doing their jobs would have learned a lesson not to screw with me. I wouldn't do it on the line... I'd wait until after work and choose my time. There wouldn't be any witnesses either. Sorry if that disturbs your politically correct methods, but I'd bet they'd be on the line the next day feeding me what they are supposed to. A leader doesn't cry to the boss. A leader takes charge of the situation and does what's needed to get the job accomplished even if it involves a tire iron. So there smart guy I answered your lame example. Yes DBO, I grew up in the inner city. I do not have a problem taking care of myself by ensuring others do what they are supposed to do when it effects me. You CAN'T say that about the whiner Obama.
Clearly Drive By has never been burdened with leadership and has obviously never been the boss.
From his example he never been a supervisor either.
Poor Drive By, just let's people mess with him, then gets then back by cracking a funny.

Bryan - I guess that proves it... you are an idiot. I was hoping for the best, but was wrong. You didn't read my post where I said that liberal bozo's are making excuses for Obama. What YOU are doing is making excuses. Particuarly since Obama hasn't done anything positive to help this economy, he hasn't grown jobs, he hasn't presented a business friendly atmosphere or anything of the sort. All he's done is blame everyone under the sun but himself. Right from the very beginning he wanted Cap and Trade... more business taxes... more uncertainty... more government regulations... anything and everything to get him closer to feeling like and acting like Hugo Chavez... of which Obama is sorely jealous of. Obama has been following Chavez's model since he was installed as president. Obama was behind one of the largest government take overs of private enterprise in this country's history. Liberals cheered him on... I stood and gasped.
[Clearly Drive By has never been burdened with leadership and has obviously never been the boss.]
[From his example he never been a supervisor either.]
Whew! And here I thought you were just going to weasel out of the conversation and ask another question...just because you have an "opinion", right Schpanky?
How's those reruns of L.A. Law and Allie McBeal coming along...Allie's pretty hot, right? ...in a Leprecauchan-y kind of way...right up your "Allie", being those naughty democrats are always after your Lucky Charms...
Bob#s: It would also be interesting to note that the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare for you TeaPublicans) was actually signed into law on March 20, 2010, you know, after a full year of Congressional action to "quickly shove it down the americans throats."
Since that time, unemployment has been declining and the number of jobs has been increasing. While not yet enough to erode the unemployment rate to "normal levels", the unemployment rates have been reduced.
Bachman is wrong.
President Bush drove the economy into a ditch.
President Obama took the economy out of the ditch, and drove at 80 MPH directly off a cliff.
Tom ,Yreka
Hi Bev--We all are trying to scrape Bachman off our shoes. What a mess!
Hi Tom
The problem is she keeps pooping. Really, she should clean up behind herself after drops her load.
Bev-- And she thinks it doesn't stink. Maybe she lost her sense of smell. LOL
In days of olde, when Knighs were bold,
and paper wasn't invented-
She left her load upon the road
and went away contented.
Drive-by You owe me a keyboard
DBO, make that two keyboards and one monitor.
And, oh goodness the image you conjured ... ugh, no one look at her retreating rear ....
Don't wipe down the screens yet. Here's Bachmann's version of the history of birth control:
In days of olde, when Knights were bold,
And rubbers weren't invented-
they tied their socks around their c*cks,
and babies were prevented.
As only God would approve, of course....
On a roll today DBO. That one got the new keyboard and a screen.
DBO -- you are killing me....ROFLMBAO... stop before I need to paint the walls from spewing coffee (no Tea for me)
I'll say NO--NO to Michele Bachmann and any clueless candidate like her. There are smart republican women, where are they?
On my wish list would be Hillary Clinton one on one with Michelle Bachmann and then Sarah Palin--Clinton would wipe the floor with them. I say Hillary because if a male politician says what needs saying, they are immediately criticized and called sexist.
Jody----sorry you have to watch these ads on TV--but at least it is good for the Iowa economy---that's how they create jobs, I guess.
No doubt that Hillary Clinton could clean Bachmann's clock.
Where is Spanky when you need him for comedy relief?
He's "at lunch". Glugg, Glugg.
Maybe I can fill in, Torpedo:
"So, Torpedo- you ok with all this then? What you got? You buy that Volt yet? You got a big brain, Torpedo? Have you read the tax code yet? Fun and games, huh?"
Very apt representation of the spankster MB. All questions and no answers. All hat and no cattle, my grandpa used to say....
Thanks Drive-by. A day without snark from the Spankster is like a day without ________(you fill in the blank).
[All hat and no cattle, my grandpa used to say...]
My father STILL says:
Loose boxers, but no balls!
My husband says "all sizzle and no steak"!
I it so nice to be loved by so many.
As a matter of fact I was at lunch- playing ball at the Y. And man, it's hot around here. Nearly 80 degrees.
Oh and Drive By - you get a load of those Volt sales figures? Oh my goodness, only 2700 sold so far. Just terrible. Whoever designed and decided to market that turd needs to be canned. Can they can GM/gov. employees?
So gang: the WHite House website says that the USA spent $28 Trillion in the last 10 years. And brothers, we are in some bad shape.
But see, it also says we sill spend $43 trillion [down from $46 T cause of the debt ceiling deal] over the next 10 years.
I would just love to hear what you all think about how totally awesome we will be doing after the next 10 years.
Anybody? DBO? Mickey? Torpedo, surely you have some insight to share?
[Anybody? DBO? Mickey? Torpedo, surely you have some insight to share?]
...I think you have it covered, Schpanky my fuzzy little friend...after all, your OPINIONS are the only that matter, right?
You know the old saying about opinions and @!$%#s...
Spanky: it is my earnest belief that this country will be doing better in the next ten years, despite (or better yet to spite) the actions of the current majority in the House and particularly the flea Party which is biting the tail wagging that dog.
Within the next ten years, my children will be graduating from college and high school and beginning their journey of life as adults. As young people, they have already learned to find out as much information as possible, then form an opinion. They ususally find out that "dad is right" on many things. Part of being adults means that they will vote. They have each informed me that, contrary to what many people think of young voters, they may not vote for one party, across the board. They want to find out what each candidate stands for and then vote for the best person.
Our government may spend twice as much money in the next 10 years as in the previous 10 years. I hope it is not spent on guns, bullets, missiles, replacement arms, titanium legs, or mechanical hands needed for wars. I hope we do meet the goal of setting up an exploratory post on Mars.
Having our children become informed, voting adults. Ending useless wars. Continuing our exploration of our solar system. That's some of the totally awesome things I think we'll be doing.
How about you Spanky. Do you have any hope in your future ?
"Thanks Drive-by. A day without snark from the Spankster is like a day without ________(you fill in the blank)."
...Painful, rectal itch?
dirp01 - I think the country will do better, but no way revenues will ever go up to account for such a huge jump in expenditures.
So I guess we are doomed.
Oh and I must say my gang of cheerleaders has let me down. Not a coherent thought in the bunch.
How predictable. :)
[Oh and I must say my gang of cheerleaders has let me down. Not a coherent thought in the bunch.]
...WAH!
How are those loose-fitting boxers working out for you? Seems you have all the answers, except now...why is that? Empty suit, perhaps? Or maybe you realized that your emotional, ideological tantrums disguised as wit won't carry you forever? And I'm not even going to touch on the fact that you do, on occasion, intersperse your tantrums with a few falsehoods, and outright lies...or maybe you can just deflect with another question because you, like the rest of us, have no real answers, and it's been SUPER-SLOW over at FoxNation and The Blaze?
Time to step up, wash that sand from your vagina, and post something else besides an emotional, ideological response to something that you obviously fear because you have no control over...
...anything...?
Please tell everyone that you haven't wasted their time, "counselor", and then and ONLY then, can you get back to watching reruns of L.A. Law and Allie McBeal...
It is my earnest hope that through wise investment in the future of our country, limited reductions in wasteful spending (useless, DoD war spending comes to mind,) elimination of tax preference items for companies making record profits, adjustment of the tax code to increase revenues and most importantly
doing whatever is needed to increase the GDP of the country, the revenues generated far exceed the expenditures for the next 30 years. We don't need to eliminate the debt, but we do need to get it under control. We can't begin to control the debt until we eliminate the deficits. That takes both sides of the budget equation. Until the Congress realizes that and acts accordingly, it will never be taken seriously. THAT is why the ratings houses are threatening to downgrade our credit rating.
Mickey: L.A. Law and Allie McBeel.... lol, I hadn't heard those references since "the good ole days" when people actually paid their taxes and had a government that, usually, tried to work.
Amazing thing is, tax rates were much higher, government spending lower, people were working.
Oh, and we found out that BJ's don't count.... :)
[Amazing thing is, tax rates were much higher, government spending lower, people were working.]
Ahhh yes...some would say it was a simpler time...and for the record, BJ's do count...Schpanky can attest to that fact...he's given enough of 'em.
Mickey, Mickey, why are you picking on Spanky, today ?
I admit, I do miss the 90's. I mean it, the economy was booming, we were actually starting to PAY OFF the debt, you could get on an airplane and go anywhere in the world without being molested first. We may have been involved in a couple of wars, but only limited, no occupations.
Taxes were at a reasonable rate, people were working.
As to them counting, Nope, no conviction... no harm, no foul. Maybe waste a few million investigating, but hey, gotta keep the lawyers busy.
[Mickey, Mickey, why are you picking on Spanky, today ?]
Because it's FUN...right Schpanky? Harassing women and disabled Navy veterans is your brand of entertainment, right Schpanky?
You see...what i've noticed here on FR is that everyone has an opinion...but there are a select few who think their opinions matter more than others...ever notice that?
dirp101, maybe we can ask Schpanky the same question...
Fiesty
To your point this a.m. about Pat Buchanan's sad remarks about the President, go to "Humanevents.com and read that colum, yesterdays' he called the President a "Coonskin" he also has another column about Blacks in Government Jobs, appears too Many for Mr. Buchannan, thus that explains why the Republicans are going after State and Local governments.
Most sad is the comments never in my life have I ever read such racist comments, it's really sad.
Yesterday's column is "The Day of the Hobbits" everyone should read it, many are shaken but not surprised, all agree with you relative to MSNBC knowingly keeping this guy in their employment.
Thanks for the heads up Charlotte - I've already sent a e-mail to MSNBC about him and will now send another one including some of his highlights like this:
"God love her" !.....This flake sets the bar for the republican party .. Pathological liar's psychopaths and racists !..I find it odd she talks to much about slaves and masters ...makes me wounder about her mate ! And her pray away the gay ...it appears someone... has had a major relapse ! She strikes me as a hostess from the Waffle House !..." Their" kind of person !
Bachmann. Two words:
"bizzyy-ditch".
Heard that joke this morning too DBO. Chuckled for a bit. Very true about the Panama Canal.
First, someone needs to tell Wachjobmann that raising the debt limit has nothing to do wtih paying down the debt or the defecit...it has to do with making sure we can currently pay our past debts. If we went into default as she wanted, interest rates on the debt servicing part of our budget would skyrocket thereby increasing the defecit without catastrophic cuts and tax raises.
Second, I'm sick to death of people blaming this president for the current 14.5 trillion national debt. Obama signed spending bills amounts to but a fraction of that amount! Most of the debt during his presidency is from all the reoccurring unfunded crap thrown our way by the prior administration, i.e., unfunded wars and tax cuts, unfunded Medicare Part D, etc....
Third, someone needs to call this hypocrit for what she is...a gov't money sucking whore! Yep! She's been on the gov't teet for most of her adult life.
"Pooping" ! "money sucking wh***" !
Didnt think it was possible, but you moonbats have done it:
Debased yourselves lower than you did sliming Sarah Palin.
Bachman Derangement Syndrome...the new low...but you will get worse, no doubt about it.
Bob-numbers,
Don't hate on Pat because he is telling the truth. Bachmann has been living on "entitlements" her whole life. Now she makes a living wasting taxpayer time and money.
Bryan,
she is not my candidate...but she was a successful tax attorney, raised her family and 23 foster kids, and is in Congress doing her best ; so your lame personal attack reflects on you, not on her.
"...but she was a successful tax attorney..."
Yes she was! Collecting from the citizens FOR the gubmint! Do you suppose she calls Norquist each day, and reminds him of that little fact?
And her willingness to let America default to defend the tax cuts for the richest in America reflects on her.
She just pretends to care about the debt while defending unfunded wars and unfunded tax cuts. She has already promised not to cut and run on them poor Afghan women. She thinks we need to keep in place the two major reasons why we are where we are today in debt. (At this point you have to question sanity)
Makes you wish she did have a direct line to God, we are going to need someone to save us if any republican gets elected for president and we don't take back the house from the crazies.
having a foster child do a 12 month stint at Bachmatraz is hardly child rearing; but I know Bob numbers must defend her 'honor' at all costs to his sanity and credibility,...
oh wait....never mind.
bachmann's ad is correct except that she identifies the wrong person !!! she should have said that it was bush who looted the treasury and drove the economy into the ditch !!!
P.S. how many bills did you sponsor and get passed in the HOUSE ??? NONE !!! YOU STUPID B*TCH !!!
Perhaps you maybe? GreedyBiz? As one owner of a small biz to another...Your response said nothing! I just asked some direct questions, cited a FACT and received an obtuse reply which is typical for conservatives who tend to speak only in hyperbole.
Torpedo--maybe Greedy spoke more clearly in one of his alter egos which were banned so he has re-registered with a newer, more accurate name.
Ah Steeler, a conspiracy around every corner.
Watch out for the bogey-man, eh gang?
But hey how 'bout the new contract deal? Ben, taking one for the team.
she is the most ill informed person running for President of the United States. But she is interesting when she opens her mouth it keeps things light and funny. I think her husband is in a closet and needs to come out. really think about it, keep bashing the gays to throw off the public. anyway I hope she wins the GOP race
Hey, GBO, what part exactly did TU get wrong. It would be educational for all of us to know the facts and not just hollow statements.
I have really hoped that in my lifetime we would see a woman elected President but surely we can do better as a nation than Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin.
Wait, I know, I know - Hillary Clinton.
Come on Steeler, get on the train. There is little hope for Obama.
Especially if he's going to replace Geinter with Corzine. Really, all he can do is recruit Goldman re-treads? And is not Goldman part of the evil corporate money grubbying empire you all hate?
He really does make it hard to love him, doesn't he Steeler?
Has to make you wonder why the conservatives are so concerned about who we run for president.
Think we should go with their suggestions?
The conservative just want to stir up a rowel because the democrats did not elect a bunch of left wing beer partiers to have enough people to vote for Democrats.
I think the Democrats are the new center and the right drank the wrong kind of tea and may be tripping.
I say no too. To you and your fascist comrade's theocratic/corporate ideology!
You wouldn't know the word BALANCE if it smacked you up against your fascist pig head.
Anyone who really thinks Bachmann has any intelligence beyond 3rd grade has so many issues of their own they should just fade away. Someone already pointed out there are GOP women that are far more intelligent than this one, so smart they no better than to run for an office were everyone will hate you just because you have the job and they don't.
"so smart they no better than to run for an office were everyone will hate you just because you have the job and they don't."
I heartily enjoy posts insulting someone else's intelligence, full of misspellings and bad grammar.
BOB, hows the viagra working for you these days, still have a limp mind. "full of misspelling and bad grammer" If I did it correctly you would not have anything to bitch or belittle anyone about, since that is all you can do. Time to go in your mommy is calling.
My guess is that Bob is old. He sounds like my dad, so I am guessing he is aways hateful and doesn't have a lot of friends. Aquaintances maybe but no real friends.
Why does Bob come on here to read post from people who obviously disgust him?
I wonder of Bachmann knows what she is saying......the current deficit was accumulated by Bush running 2 wars "off the books" for 8 years. It was NOT accumulated by Obama.....it was even Bush, at the end of his term, who brought out the TARP payments. Does Bachmann realize she is voting "NO" to paying off a Republican deficit??? Do Republicans not have to pay their bills?
Republicans are good at making really big bills, but paying them, not so much.
Seriously? Anyone that really cares about the fate of this great country - would dare put Bachman in office.
But the great thing about her is - she will get votes from those who don't know better thereby taken votes aways from any real potential GOP candidate.
I just hope her headaches don't destroy her good looks ...LOL... I mean afterall, any votes she get would be from ignorant, lonely man.
And although there could be many of them - there won't be not enough to put her butt in office.
TRUTH - not CRAP
Thanks you and GOD BLESS AMERICA
To the Tea Party Terrorists
Those you elected have left you behind
for hubris, gold or madness, take your pick.
They aid their own while the country declines.
They feed its troubles with harsh rhetoric.
Why do they say your ideology
is the solution to all our problems?
This results in many insanity's
bound together no matter what happens.
Who is to blame for this situation?
Look into the mirror and you will see.
Those who refuse to compromise have come
from you, from your perfect idiocy.
So now we have your world and all suffer.
You have made everything worse, not better.
