VIDEO: Paul says he expects at least third at Ames

Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, says he expects to finish at least third in Iowa. Anything less would be a disappointment, he tells NBC's Anthony Terrell.

Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) has proven he can do well at straw polls. Ames, which is less than two weeks away, is a key organizational test and will prove how devoted his following is in Iowa. NBC campaign embed Anthony Terrell chatted with him. Here's a transcript of the interview.

While I don't think he has a chance, he may be the best that the Reps. have to offer. A lot more sense than Rand. Rand needs to get his doctor practice back and leave governing to someone else.

The tea party is owned by the Koch bros. they also own the republic party, the chamber of commerce, and the Supreme Court. They encourage the Jesus freaks in the tea party to shove their crap down everyones throats.

Godfather of the tea party. I would rather be unknown that go down as you in the history books.

Yes we formed this group to show how much we hate American and its government. Don't you liberals notice that the path to the pie in the sky smaller government just happens to never raise taxes on the richest again. It doesn't mean anything and we on the right have already forgotten it.

Now where did I leave that envelope from the Koch brothers?

The Republicans have opened their mouths, and many hundreds of millions of voters are going to respond in a way that Republican Party leaders will have to evaluate whether to even keep the Republican Party together come the next few elections. You noticed how right wing people are calling people libbies whether we are independent or what. Many are ex-republicans that are more unhappy than anyone in the center or the left of the political spectrum. You can tell right wing people are getting frustrated when they start calling names.
