More 2012: Lugar’s troubles

INDIANA: A Club for Growth poll showed incumbent Sen. Richard Lugar (R-IN) trailing 34%-32% in a GOP primary matchup with state Treasurer Richard Mourdock.

MASSACHUSETTS: “Elizabeth Warren's tenure as the face of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) will come to a close at the end of the month,” The Hill reports. “The Treasury Department announced Tuesday that Warren will return to her work as a professor at Harvard Law School beginning Aug. 1… Meanwhile, speculation continues to swirl that Warren could mount a campaign to replace Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) as senator in 2012. Senate Democrats have courted Warren for the job, but so far she has merely said she will think about the proposition.”

Sounds like the Tea-Baggers don't like Lugar because he is a moderate! So, sad!!

Ms. Warren would make a great Senator!

Lugar has a brain and he puts the interest of the nation above his party. Those are two things tea party clowns can't stand.

Scott Brown will beat Elizabeth Warren handily . She is a snotty elitist Harvard professor, she will make no headway as a real political candidate, having to talk to real people. She will make the last loser Mass. Democrat Senatorial candidate, Martha Coakley, look good by comparison

Just like Scott Brown and other come-latelies, change is in the air! Lugar is a moderate and his backers should take note of this unveiled threat to his candidacy! Romney is counting his eggs before they hatch! I just love this TEA/GOP primary season! The TEA party have corrupted the GOP just to get audience! Boehner's a bumbling idiot boxed in by his TEA party constituents. The 112th Congress is a full-blown quagmire! Tax payers tired of the show-boating and grand-standing in Washington should make note of this impasse and become involved in our nations legislative abilities!

republicans should stop using the line "the american people" when they sign a pledge from and individual after they were elected to congress" by the american people" ,they are making desicions to please that individual not the "american people.

With the cancerous growth group taking charge of the Republican party...

Americans across this land are saying that they didn't leave the Republican party. It is the Republican party that has left millions of Americans.
