I'm surprised Webb voted for it, he was very critical of the action in Libya on Meet The Press on Sunday. In fact, I thought Webb made more sense than any of the Republican candidates running for President. Blue Dog Democrat, Sen Webb, is to the right of me, but I would consider voting for a guy like that. You can tell when a politician is a serious thinker, regardless of which party they belong to.

One would think they would, afterall they all voted YEA on S.RES.85 on March 1, 2011, demanding US action in Libya, including a No Fly Zone. Senator Jim Webb has zero credibility on his criticism of President Obama. Webb was one of those unanimous Senate votes urging President Obama to do exactly what he did. As far as I am concerned, the Senate whiners both R and D should just shut up because they all voted YEA.

Where does the money come from for this effort? The US Partcipation Should be paid for by the international community as was the 1st IRAQ intervention. The US can no longer afford to be the enforcer for the international community. They need to contribute to our cost.

I watched a recent video of a single 1,000 and 2,000lb NATO strike in the heart of heavily populated Tripoli. The shrapnel sprayed out for 1/2 mile striking buildings, civilians in their path. Those pro-Gadhafi civilians filming the strike were nearly a full 1 mile away and still had to duck down as shrapnel swept across their position and rocks ripped holes in the building near them.

Such completely exposes the utter hypocrasy of NATO bombing the hell out of Libyas capitol where millions of pro-Gadhafi civilians are located under the guise of protecting 'civilians'. There is nothing surgical nor precise about 1,000 and 2,000 bombs in a heavily populated area! The supersonic shrapnel and rock debris sprays out well over 1/4 mile wounding and and often killing everything it hits many city blocks away from the bomb crater.

The heavily armed Rebel Bandits are not civilians, they are Al Qaeda fighters, many have killed US Soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. In Feb. they robbed Libyan banks of over 500 million dollars, stole Libyan gov. tanks and heavy weapons. They are certainly not 'civilians'.

The war in Iraq was justified-they bombed our airplanes that fell on New York and killed over 3000 people on 9/11. Libya never bombed us, hasn't threaten us-we have enough to pay for without getting into another war that is costing us millions a day! Obama should have left the troops in Afgahnistan a little longer until that goverment can take over with more trained men. The Generals DID NOT approve of the pulling of troops just yet. A friend of mine that has a son in Afghanistan said they will be in MORE danger now with less troops! I don't think our military thinks very highly of Obama!!!

Gadhafi inherited a high infant mortality rate which is common in all of Africa and lowered that to the lowest level in all of Africa and the Middle East.

Gadhafi inherited a dismal 20% literacy rate and despite bringing over 1 Million Black African migrants from 25+ African Nations, brought Libya's literacy rate to a national average of 80%. A truely outstanding achievement helped by Gadhafi providing free education to everyone and fully paying for ALL college and university costs in Libya as well as for Libyans in any overseas College and University.

Those newly graduated Libyans were paid nearly their fully potential salary's while seeking employment.

Gadhafi provided FREE Electricity to all Libyans non-commercial needs including to their homes.

Gadhafi provided FREE Medical services which were as good as any nation in the entire Middle East.

Oh such a bad man the Rebels that stole military tanks, heavy machines and robbed 550 Million dollars from the Benghazi Central Bank moan and complain!

The Libyan Wealth Fund was helping 25+ African Nations with sizable investments and growing the Libyan Economy at 8% growth, only China at 9% in the entire world was growing faster.

Gadhafi began and helped setup the petro-business in Libya while East Libya's Islamic Emirate King Idris appeared to only care for himself while his people languished in utter poverty. Under Gadhafi the Libyan people prospered with one of the highest per capita incomes in all of Africa and much more than nations in the Middle East.

Gadhafi did all of this without borrowing a single dime and generated ZERO debt and yet President Obama in utter hypocrisy calls Gadhafi unfit as a leader!
