Send it to who ever you want you little P888K. But be very careful for what you widh for, things that go around come around. You can bet that Newsvine is going to inverstigate this and if your hands are as clean as you say they will find where on the internet this is, from whom, the dates and the times.

You sir have opened up a can of worms. Being a member of Libs R Us you are not going to find anything we not not already written. Yes our language in private conversation is a little more colorful than here on FR and probably a little stornger in rhetoric.

Go ahead and post them, you will be putting up things we could not or would not say because we did not want to violate the CoH. So, you my friend please feel free to do it for us.

Thanks in advance.

You're right, Navy. I am not worried about anything that's been said at all. I do feel like this is a privacy violation, though. The group settings are clearly marked private. So the fact that there is a breach is the only issue I have. Post away, doublea. There is nothing nefarious afoot. I am not sure why your posts are getting deleted.

I guess we should all be flattered that you think our contribution increases ratings, ha. I don't think any of us take ourselves that seriously.

Navy, I'll catch up with you on the flip side. Take care,

LOL - this idiot thinks they've got a 'smoking gun' when in actually it's a 'water pistol'! LMAO!

I'm not sure of the deletion thingy either - they should be more concerned about a knock on their door for hacking - which is indeed a crime! ;o)

Very true. We've looked for the most tactful ways to say that many Conservatives are infinite in their disrespect, favoring subterfuge and character assassination over legitimate debate of the issues.

Then along comes doublea1 airing information that was meant to be private in an attempt to de-legitimize like-minded people sharing their thoughts and blowing off a little steam

Congratulations, doublea1, you've accomplished nothing except to prove that the Conservative Movement is exactly the venue of smear merchants with authoritarian leanings that we've been trying to communicate. You're just doing it in the ugliest possible way, with your actions.

The real damage here is to the reputation of Newsvine. My guess is they'll be more concerned about it than am I.

#1.12 - Sun Jun 19, 2011 4:55 PM EDT

The only thing doublea will learn is how we really feel about some of the right wing trolls we spar with everyday. So post away, in almost every case the gloves are off and you wont like what you read.

All you are showing us by your actions, is how low you conservatives will go and how scared you are of the truth. You will tell any lie, smear any person, attempt any dirty trick, in the hope you will make someone look bad, well good luck with that, as we know what we are up against and Newsvine will be more interested in you than we are.

You did not find this on an internet site, doublea, we know that. There is no connection between MSNBC and us, it is function of how the flags work. You should know that. But, it seems to me to be carrying things a bit too far to be making threats over a group of friends. I wonder why you would want to carry things that far?

You know, this whole thing is beginning to strike me as funny. I am here, a stay at home mom, retired, taking care of my critters, and someone out in cyberspace is so worried about the power that he thinks I have, that he must needs hack into an account where I talk to my friends! I guess in a backwards sort of fashion, it is quite the compliment. Me a powerful poster, (oh gosh, I am getting positively slaphappy about it) that controls the message for a large news organization who employs many people that are journalists but who can't control the message like I and my friends can! MSNBC did you know that you would be nothing without us? I do hope you are properly grateful.

Exactly, Jody. I asked about this on one of the threads a couple of weeks ago, and no one responded. It doesn't happen on my monster mac, but on my 17 inch monitor at work it makes it very tough. That and the fact that my slow scrolling demons are back, but only on a PC. Anyone else on that?

I should say, I also don't like the older/newer tabs, beside not being useful, they mess me up periodically as well, as others have described.
And scrolling through comments has become a chore, slow as mud and balky.

Since moonbat posters are required by their contract with George Soros to make a lame insult about Governor Palin every 10 minutes, it just makes sense to bring you there.

Arent you all still getting overtime this weekend to pore through every one of Palin's 24,000 emails? Nothing yet? Soros does not like to be disappointed, you know.

So that's how those FOI requests work, eh Drive By? Palin had a hand in deciding what to produce? Really?

Golly I've only issued a few, but the governmental agency has [so far] never been able to only give the documents they wanted to. Sounds like you have had a different experience. Please Drive By, do tell us about all of yhour experiences.

What's that, you never actually made a Freedom of Information request? Huh, I never would have guessed that given your comment above.

Silly little amusing Drive By. But man you do have such a bad case of Palin Fever.

#3.2 - Fri Jun 17, 2011 4:37 PM EDT

Palin or her legal counsel. A LOT were withheld or if released, 'redacted'. You want us to belive she didn't? Silly you.

And you know it. N one asked you how many you have issued. What? Irrelevant? Why thank you, counsellor. What have MY experiences been? Ooops- irrelevant again. Always trying to steer the issue in a somewhat differnet direction, eh? Sorry- it's not working here....

Oh, and 'Palin Fever'- if SHE trys so hard to remain in the public eye day in and day out, who am I to deny her??

  • 3 votes
#3.3 - Fri Jun 17, 2011 5:07 PM EDT

Do you know 1. what redacted means, 2. who did the redacting, or even 3. why portions were redacted?

Of course you don't. If fact it is apparent that you do not know who produced the documents. Again, silly little Drive By, you try to talk the talk, but alas...

Experience and knowledge is always relevant, but I guess my expecting you to know that are unreasonable.

  • 5 votes
#3.4 - Fri Jun 17, 2011 5:24 PM EDT

I don't know who did the redacting or the withholding. There, happy?

Now, back to my original reply to WCA:

With all the redacting and withholding (no matter WHO did it, or for what reason)- maybe, just MAYBE, the reading might be more interesting, and not so bland. Nice job of trying to pull the attention away from the original idea behind my comment, though. They teach that in lawyer school? High school debate? Hey- I'm impressed.

  • 2 votes
#3.5 - Fri Jun 17, 2011 5:36 PM EDT

What original point? You imply that Palin had something to do with the manner of production, the redaction or the basis for redaction.

But hey, it is progress that you just admitted that you have no idea about the "redacting or the withholding." Too bad you still have no idea why that is so important to your purported issue.

Great job on that.

I'd like to pint out ( again) that Huntsman is just a media candidate.

He polls poorly among the other 9 folks who are running. He has spoken in closed meetings . Media will blame his polling numbers on lack of name recogniztion but why do they continue to provide coverage?

I'd rather hear about the top-tier candidates -or- the group in its entirety.

That would be fair reporting.

Reply#5 - Fri Jun 17, 2011 4:02 PM EDT

Who are the top tier candidates? While it might be more fair to hear about them all as a group, unless there is a debate they are reported on (as is done in every primary) as individuals making their cases wherever they roam.

How about next week we get a story on the Issa hearings? You really do not want to miss that boat- looks like it will cost Holder his job.

How about a story on the secret fundraisers held in the Blue Room at the White House in March? Seems the DNC organized it, and Obama met with long term Wall Street donors. Of course, no money changed hands. Nosirree- that would be illegal.

They just wanted to chat. In secret.

How about one on Boeing and the NLRB- and the thousands of jobs the Obama administration is squelching?

You missed the boat on Cree Industries- could have been a good story. See, they took stimulus funds, and used them- to build a plant in China.

Well, I provided the leads. I guess you will get right to work- on a bunch of Palin stories.

    Feisty:

You did not say anything that many who visit here were thinking but afraid to go there. Some experiences no matter how trying just do not change people. That is just how some people are wired. The hypocrisy from the right is thicker than usual lately.

And many of those waivers are for time to implement their (the States) plan or for some companies as well. In Vermont we took President Obama up on his offer that if we could do it better then he would support us. Well we passed our single payer bill, the house and senate passed it and our GGovernor signed it and a waiver is being requested. Not all the waivers are for trying to duck out as some seem to imply, most are legit of the ones I saw. Not all though.

    @Newdaydawning

Yes it was my post thank you, I just scratched the surface of what my union has enabled me to do. The most important was my wife being able to be a full time mom, we could have spent a second income as well as anybody but we could make it on just mine. I feel sorry for young people today who marry the person they love and respect, have children, and then have to have somebody else (sometimes several different babysitters each week) raise their kids. Nothing says family values like a full time mom, nothing is more dangerous than a female protecting her young, and nothing is more scary than her disciplining her young, nobody loves them like their own mother. It is tough for many young people today working several jobs with crappy pay trying to makes ends meet and keep a roof overhead, and I feel the kids (and probably the mother) pay a kind of price. I will tell my wife you said hello, thank you. Aside from being able to keep a modest household on my income my union enabled me to become a patented inventor, I have a teaching certificate (secondary education), I am a published author (technical textbook stuff), I am considered an expert in my field, I will be teaching a week long class at the end of the month to electrical engineers at a private company in Pennsylvania, and at the end of July I will be teaching for a week at the university of Michigan School of Engineering, and I am sometimes paid as a consultant. I do not have a college degree, I have a fair amount of education but no degree, I could only accomplish these things because I made a decent wage and fringe package and worked (worked hard) with the best in the industry who always inspired me to be the best that I could be. If me and the wife were both working jobs for 12 bucks an hour and little or no benefits none of this would have been possible. My union membership has made my life better and that is understated, but it is the honest to God truth. I hope I did not bore you, thank you for your kind words, and have a nice weekend I actually have to get ready to go to a union meeting. Happy Fathers Day to all you dads, and thank you to all the moms for making it possible.

God Bless Ya' Forrest!!! I am a proud Union man myself!! I have been in the UAW since 1999. I was a Recording Secretary / Union rep. for a few years, and I fought the good fight in the trenches. I've walked picket lines and served on election committees. I ride and march down Woodward Avenue in Detroit in our Labor Day parade. My boy is with me,...usually in a Chrysler concept car. Last year we rode in a concept called the Nukizer. Google it. It's slick lookin'.

The UAW gave me benefits that Spanky and JoannaSmith can only dream about. Pension, fully-paid medical,...(not to gloat). I know how blessed I am.

Politically, I attend protests, write in to newspapers, and I allow Democratic Party workers to stay at my home for several months at a time to work elections. I take my son with me since he was 6 years old.

Sounds like you are an accomplished person, and I'm glad to know you.

    Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy Fathers Day brother Greg, I too have held responsible positions in my local, and a lot of people have no idea of all the things unions do in their communities to be good citizens. People deserves a fair days pay for a fair days works, and a relatively safe work place, that is all the union is trying to accomplish, there is nothing evil about them. Have a good weekend.

    • 3 votes
    #7.55 - Sat Jun 18, 2011 8:08 AM EDT

Feisty's last three comments are nothing but unsolicited personal attacks. The comment by NoJo at 7.45 was addressed at the forum content. She says she ignores Feisty and in response Feisty attacked her. Just no reason for that kind of behavior.

If there is a code of conduct personal attacks must be outlawed. Particularly ones going after someone's family, that refer to guns. Is there a moderator on this board?

THere is no place for this at a forum like this. If I say something Feisty Readhead doesn't like will she comment upon my husband?

Feisty must be banned. No one could possibly defend her comments. There is no justification for them, and they really speak to Feisty's character.

Hey you want to hear a stay at home mom joke:

A man rings a doorbell and a 13 year old boy holding a can of beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other answers the door. The man says "is your mother home?" and the kid says "what the hell do you think butthead?"

NoJo is a proved to be a liar and fraud. She has been called out by those who police this board for her misinformation in her posts and she does not have Feisty on ignore as you can see. She consistently respond to Feisty's posts which is difficult if you have them on ignore and are not reading them. Just go back and look for yourselves over the pass months. She is an attention starved person trying to make herself important. She is like that person that goes to a big fancy Party all deck out and nobody notices.

Well, that was a week and a half wasn't it folks? Every time I think I have heard every pun about Weiner and his extracurricular activities, some wag comes up with one more! Lesson: if you are in public office, and you have a name like that, don't do things that make you a national joke. My best to his wife, hope things work out for her anyway. Was much amused at the post about the 60plus crowd. Even a cursory search about THAT group of miscreants tells you all you want to know about them. According to SourceWatch, they are a front group for big Parm! They aren't at all interested in what seniors need, they are interested in gouging those seniors. The past President of the group a man James Martin, credited himself with coming up with the phrase "death tax" and for giving George Bush his first job in politics. We clearly owe him....NOTHING! Same rule applies folks, when you hear groups sounding like they are trying to protect YOU and they use phrases like that....double lock your door.

Other than that, things are peaceful at the farm. We in MN are desperately glad that Timmy and MIchelle are on the road, since they both believe that God wants them to be President. God is being a good sport about it just now, unless you count the reaction to Timmy's debate performance.

My thanks to my hosts, and a very happy Father's Day to you, and all at First Read who are dads. The developments in Wisconsin this week were a stand out in the news cycle for me. Hardly seemed like that story was glossed over. It's hard to fathom the level of chutzpah it took the Wis. Repubs to do what they have done. Gutsy move from any number of standpoints.

I believe that Wisconsin will be the focus of a rallying cry for a middle class / working class resurgence just as Gdansk, Poland was the locus of the backlash against the former Soviet Union. There, people were tired of the oppression and autocratic rule, and the idea spread throughout Europe and ended the Soviet Empire. Same thing in Tunis where a man set himself ablaze rather than submit to tyranny; an expression of his indomitable spirit and a last message of fierce defiance.

Similar unrest was manifest in Saudi Arabia, England, Libya, and elsewhere.

The common gentry are angry, and many feel disenfranchised and powerless.

Time will tell, but in Nov 2012 I think the anger will swell and spill over the Wisconsin borders to everywhere Unions are being torn down, and the common people are losing their voice. Whether it is the Koch Bros., Chamber of Commerce or other entity it has now been exposed that there really is a "right-wing conspiracy", and they know how to get things done,....their way.

      I smell battle.

It approaches. Progressives, gird yourself for the coming fight. The battle is joined.

Not ignoring the Prosser election at all Spanks. Thanks for bringing it up. Early polls had Prosser coasting to an easy win by over a 2 - 1 margin!!

Then the Wisconsin labor battle happened. Sentiment turned.

Suddenly, Prosser found himself gasping for electoral life, and barely won with 7,500 "discovered" votes. Not the comfy win he thought. Prosser crawled ashore with his life intact,......barely.

"Sleeping Giant"? Remember who uttered those words? Remember who coined that phrase? A guy who feared he was going to get his a** handed to him in a paper bag,.....and that is pretty much what happened.

The guy was Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, and our fearsome resolve hasn't been felt yet. The Tempest of Freedom is forming above, and I don't think many repubs will survive it.

No jo--The National Labor Relations Board is not an arm of any administration and in taking up the complaint against Boeing, they're fairly toothless. However, their decisions can form the basis of court proceedings. Judges are still swayed when the NLRB rules against an employer for a violation against Labor law. I repeat, violations of Labor laws are taken up first by the NLRB so that these cases don't, in fact, clog the courts.

Toothless? How much has Boeing spent thus far in litigation costs?

Judges are swayed? So the courts are not reviewing these cases from an unbiased position? huh.

Explain please, cause if you are saying what I think you are trying to say, we got big, big problems. The NLRB is the government, you know that, right?

As I see it, at issue are the provisions of the Taft-Hartley Act.

Just read the comments posted by Feisty Redhead Roselle, IL about no joe, no bo, nj.

The personal attacks against her, her husband and family are reprehensible and certainly violate the Newsvine Code of Honor.

I join the chorus in asking that her account be suspended for violating the COH.

WOW, just stunning that so many want to silence Feisty. Perhaps nojos new friends would like to click on her profile and read up on many of her comments. and not just the recent few weeks; but let's go back several months, shall we?

yeah,...every keyboard warrior seems to KNOW the scoop. But, like SO many ill informed people,...they let one overblown snippet of poutrage frame their entire talking point. SO priceless.

Fiesty, keep keeping it REAL. You know they can't address the issues, so they attack the messenger. I wish someone would tell them that when defending someone's 'honor' and 'reputation',...they should KNOW the character of the 'victim' first. I would defend Feisty a thousand times over the insipid spiteful 'teachings' of novalue new jersey. But, I guess that position comes from 3 1/2 years of HISTORY and EXPERIENCE.

Please do read all my posts.

You will find no ad hominem attacks.

You will find plenty of criticism of Obama- and that I posted that the stimulus would fail, as it has. It was doomed to fail- that kind of intervention always fails to stimulate anything but the deficit.

I did give him the benefit of the doubt on Libya in the beginning. It was not until it was clear he was screwing that up, along with everything else he puts his hand to, that I withdrew my tentative support.

Actually, if you read through the "other's" posts, you will find that the level of discourse seriously degenerated AFTER the mid terms.

I am thinking that the posters on the left are still having a hard time accepting the judgment of the electorate.

        mmmmmmmUUUUUUUUUUUUmmmmmBBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii,

You are a fraud, Donna. You know it, I know it and the majority of posters on this site know it.

But wrap yourself in righteous indignation. It's amusing as hell. May G-d have mercy on your 'soul'.

        Clara KCMO,

No one is trying to silence Feisty. She is entitled to her opinion and free to express it here as long as it is does not violate the rules established by Newsvine's Code of Honor. I typically disagree with her posts but I will, under any and all circumstances defend her right to post them, as long as she does not violate the COH.

Whatever NJNB said in her posts are her views and should be treated as political. If you disagree, state your disagreement in a reply to the post. If they violate the code, the community will collapse them as they have done with comments on dozens of occasions. Complain to the moderators if there is no other recourse. There is NO justification for personal attacks against NJNB, her husband and her family. It violates Rule 1 of the Code of Honor and many of other posters have been suspended for posting offensive posts under that rule.

This is NOT about her honor or reputation. There is a distinction between civil discourse and personal attack. Would you like me to attack your husband and family on this post? You don't think those posts were way beyond what would be considered acceptable? It was purely personal and based totally about her politics. It was beyond cruel and heartless considering the family trauma she recently experienced, yet you somehow defend these personal attacks as justified.

May I respectfully suggest that you look up the meaning of the word hypocrite. It includes the following: ": a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue". While you're at it, look up virtue and just what a liberal stands for.

You're the one who a week or so ago told me to calm down, it's only a blog.

It is only a blog and there is no place on it for the PERSONAL vitriol spewed by Feisty and her supporters simply because they have a difference in political philosophy.

I maybe a newbie on FR but I know the difference between political discourse and hate and so should you and everyone who posts here.

        Groucho,

njnbnj/Donna Lincroft, NJ has been outed as a liar for YEARS. So yes,...Feisty's point was to her REPUTATION built over YEARS. PS. Not based on her politics at all, but again on years of hate, antagonism and poutrage.

After you just admitted you don't know nojo, why did you call her a hypocrit? Again, I beg you to go back to some of her EARLIER postings and then teach me about virtue. On this poster and point, there is no quarter. Donna has earned every comment sent her way.

        Clara,

When does reputation include the comments made about her husband? I would re-post them for you to read but I won't embarrass myself by doing it. They were hateful and reprehensible. You know it as well as I do.

I didn't call her a hypocrite and I don't need to know her or read her posts to know the comments were inappropriate.

I simply cannot find a way to justify them for any reason no matter what the history.

Have a good Fathers Day.. my kids are here now.

        Groucho,

Enjoy your kiddos,...we are doing a Shrek marathon with ours right now. I may not agree with Feisty's style at all times; but on THIS poster/issue - I'm simply not going to back down. njnbnj/Donna is not so virtuous and without sin to warrant a particular brand of 'dressing down'.

It's too bad you don't have the full history as to not understand that there is simply NO political motivation to Feisty's comment. None whatsoever. (I was using a little sarcasm in turning your definition of a hypocrit into exactly what nojo truly is - forgive me my 'overreach').

Seriously, I do hope you enjoy your day. We overdid yesterday so we are enjoying the 'down' day!
