Pawlenty hits Romney ... on Twitter

After receiving a considerable amount of criticism for NOT hitting Mitt Romney on health care at Monday's debate -- after telegraphing that he would the day before by saying "ObamneyCare" -- Tim Pawlenty has attacked Romney with this Tweet:

On seizing debate opportunity re: healthcare: Me 0, Mitt 1. On doing healthcare reform the right way as governor: Me 1, Mitt 0.

The Tweet comes after a Pawlenty spokeman told the New York Times that the campaign is taking a long view of the race. “We take the long view, which is the right view,” the spokesman told the paper. “Presidential campaigns are marathons. They are not won or lost in a night or a week or a month.”

*** UPDATE *** This isn't the first time that Pawlenty has issued an attack via Twitter. Last month, he said this about President Obama:

@BarackObama sorry to interrupt the European pub crawl, but what was your Medicare plan?

But he still doesn't show the courage to attack Romney face-to-face. What a boring whimp!

That tweety-twit crap has dropped T-Paw's image in my eyes. If you cant' say something disparaging looking your opponent in the eye, then you should keep you coward mouth shut.

Not that I'm voting for him, or Romney anyway.....

Maybe Gov. Pawlenty should reconsider whether or not he wants someone "tweeting" in his name....his campaign staff already has a bad reputation as a sort of fraternity dumb-tricks club and the tweets don't help.

It just sounds so childish that he/his campaign uses Twitter to attach his rival. Is he follwing Palin's methond of communication this early in the campaign?

        Best Story Today

TAMPA, Fla. — Mitt Romney sat at the head of the table at a coffee shop here on Thursday, listening to a group of unemployed Floridians explain the challenges of looking for work. When they finished, he weighed in with a predicament of his own.

“I should tell my story,” Mr. Romney said. “I’m also unemployed.”

Romney keeps saying things like this and putting his foot in it. Does he actually thinks he endears himself to people by comparing his situation, a wealthy man out to buy the Presidency, with someone who is unemployed and has a family to concern themselves with?

So the Republican comedy road show and cage matches continues. We should have Wimpy Timmy P. face off against Weather Vane Willard for the rights to claim the intellectual wing of the Republican Party.

Al in Visalia CA - LOL!!! That was funny...."Weathvane Willard". I wish that would stick....good job. Oh for the other guy that thinks we should un-employ our president.....not this election, not this group of wild eyed robots. The sad thing is they actually think the American people are going to buy that these Republicans can create jobs by giving even more tax cuts to the rich and corporations and cutting even deeper into the federal budget. Oh and let's not forget...slashing Medicare/Medicaid benefits to future seniors. Yeah, that's going to create tons of jobs....maybe in the funeral business but nowhere else.

Pawlenty's Ex Republican Gov has verified that he left MN in shabbles, MN is currently threatening a "Shut Down" over that awful budget he left. Now he's proposing to run Our Government by increasing it 10x the current Debt Crisis, at some made up 5% Growth Rate that's never existed, what a guy!

Pawlenty has no guts to repeat his statements from Fox Sunday at the debate on Monday, when specifically asked to, and then he send out a tweet 4 days later, what a chump! No wonder the big wigs of the GOP keep trying to get other GOP candidates in the race!
