The Democratic-leaning Center for American Progress today denounce Tim Pawlenty's economic plan as "patently ridiculous," saying there is absolutely no way the former Minnesota governor's plans would cure the country's economic woes.
"It's just radical to say the least," said Michael Ettlinger, the group's vice president for economic policy. "The tax cuts for the richest millionaires, billionaires, and corporations are really breathtaking."
As NBC's Lauren Selsky noted earlier, Pawlenty's plan would overhaul the tax code, reducing the corporate tax rate from 35% to 15%, closing loopholes, eliminating special interest handouts, and creating a fairer and flatter tax system overall. But Ettlinger and Michael Linden, the center's tax and budget policy director, claim these measures only worsen the debt crisis. Linden estimated Pawlenty's proposal to exempt all income from capital gains and dividends would cost more than $1 trillion in revenue over the next 10 years.
Both Linden and Ettlinger say Pawlenty's remedies are inadequeate, because his revenue projections overestimate how much the economy can grow. Pawlenty projected that the economy, under his leadership, would be able to by 5%. But during the economic expansions of 1983-1987 and 1996-1999, the economy never grew above 5% annually -- let alone over 10 years.
"Historically, it's never happened," Ettinger said. "But if pigs had wings, they'd fly. If we had 20% economic growth a year, we'd be done with the deficit in six weeks."

Are you kidding me?
By the time the election of 2012 rolls around, these tea baggers will be proposing that the middle class start writing the corporations refund checks!
Pawlenty's Plan sounds like a wet dream for capitalists on steroids!
Here's some more 'highlights' of T-Paw's scheme:
– Cutting the top individual income tax rate down to 25 percent;
– Having just two income tax brackets, 10 percent and 25 percent;
– Eliminating all taxation on capital gains, dividends, and estates;
Unbelievable...
Sounds great.
But tell us Feisty, why do you find those rates objectionable, and what rates would you apply?
And seriously, please justify the double and sometimes triple taxation inherent in capital gains, dividends and particularly estate taxes.
What's the matter old gal, one bit at the apple just not enough for you? Does the tit really need to get bigger? Is that really your assertion?
Why, I just bet it is. How sad. For you and this country.
If cutting taxes leads to economic growth, how do the Republicans explain ten years of Bush's tax cuts resulting in a shrinking middle class, sky high deficits and stagnant growth?
Feisty Airhead,
But isn't this exactly what Obama is already doing ...... having the middle class in effect writing the corporations refund checks. Middle class is paying for it right. The "backs" of the poor and middle class that you guys are always crying about.
Seems like you and several others have even been specifically talking about the 12 big corporations who got an averaged 1.5% refund.
So is the problem the "teabaggers" who want to re-work the tax code / eliminate the loopholes and lower the rate to compete with low tax countries (basically everyone else), or Obama who is actually having the tax payers pay for the refunds ...... the guy that resists tax reform and demagogues the guys that are trying to change it?
And what about the GAO finding that Obama gave $24 billion in Stimulus money to companies that owed $757 million in unpaid taxes?
So Feisty Airhead ....... would you rather have a tax rate for a company like GE at 35% and have the tax payers refund them 1.5%, or would you rather do what the Repubs are suggesting, re-writing the codes, let them bring their profitable operations back home and have them pay 15% on all there stuff?
I know ...... silly question ..... you would rather have the former so you will have your sacred mantra of class envy/warfare and someone to demagogue.
Idiots.
Let's try it a more simpler way for you Amy.
Do you think raising taxes will lead to economic growth. You do understand that a tax to a company is just another expense, right? The more expenses, the less money available to hire the next marginal employee.
Tell you what- go ask you boss if he is in favor of raising taxes. Then ask him what would happen if say his expenses were to rise 10%.
Let us know how that goes, will you Amy.
By the way Amy, you do understand that there is a big difference, from a debt perspective and deficit creation, between revenue and expenses?
The liberals answer to everything is tax more so the government can give us more social programs from cradle to grave. Liberals think the government can solve all problems and don't believe that government is the problem. As long as they get a little nibble at the teat they are happy.
Now, now, let's wait for Amy to get back and tell us what the boss said.
Maybe we'll be surprised.
Amy?
Spanky,
I think you hit the nail on the head. If you check the time stamp on Feisty's posts she is obviously not at work. Which means she is either retired, or, more likely, living off of Obama's leavings. Lapping up the freebies as much as she can. Amazing she has money to buy drinks at that roadhouse, and cat food for her cats.
But, give her a little break. This is her whole life. Her claim to fame. Kind of sad when you think about it.
Amy said: If cutting taxes leads to economic growth, how do the Republicans explain ten years of Bush's tax cuts resulting in a shrinking middle class, sky high deficits and stagnant growth?
Amy, if you recall, after 911 Bush had to do something to straighten out the economy. Do you remember the first day the markets opened after the towers fell? The Dow fell 611 points that day. It was the economic situation that caused him to lower taxes. If you will further recall, lowering taxes did have a positive impact on the economy. The GDP for the following 5 years grew by leaps and bounds. In 2006, the democrats won the house and that's when the economy took a nose dive.
From the very beginning, democrats had a vendetta against republicans because the democrats blamed the republicans for dragging Clinton through the trials. The close election in 2000 created anger in the democrats. Where do you think the tag "selected, not elected" came from? It was the built up anger and frustration from the democrats and that anger has never subsided.
Now, revisionist democrats are calling the entire 8 years of Bush's presidency an economic bust when that simply isn't true. The economy ended in a recession because of the housing bubble. Who created that? It wasn't Bush but he gets the blame for it. For Bush's first 6 years the economy was robust. It was the last 2 years after the house went to the democrats.
It amazes me that democrats will NOT take any blame for the economy when they are the largest cause of it. I do blame Bush for not vetoing things he should have, but the flip side of that would have been total stagnation... either way the country lost.
Hold on here, all of you guys are missing Amy's point. This strategy has been tried many times. None of these times has it worked. If you give the rich more money, what makes you think they're going to use it to hire more workers? No, they store it in offshore accounts, while begging for even more tax breaks.
Brian, the recession and economic meltdown in the fall of 2008 includes the AIG, credit swaps, and other Wall Street excesses. Bush tax cuts were not enough for them. And wages and hiring were stagnent and then went into free fall.
Contrary to your incredibly brilliant, back woods observations - Clinton raised taxes and saw economic development, low unemployment and an overall creeping deficit reduction. Bush lowered them and saw deficits and our debt explode, unemployment sky rocket and an economic crisis to boot.
And you call other people idiots? Sounds to me like you lack the overall cognitive capacity to digest simple concepts.
And yet the DEMS have not had a budget in 2 years but what ever the Repubs bring up is no good. I'm thinking that is because the Repubs are trying to cut the DEMS big spending and they just can't allow that.
Lets raise taxes on the rich. That will show them and force them to create jobs huh. I don't know about you but I have never been hired by a poor person.
If I was one of those rich people, I too would be hoarding my money right now since our president wants to remove it from me to give it to people who have not earned it. It would be saving it until this guy is out of office.
A LITTLE HUMOR....
The following questions were asked in last year's GED examination.
These are genuine answers (from 16 year olds')............and they WILL breed.
Q. Name the four seasons.

Yep, nothing wrong the public school system!
Next BIG news;
Fire hot, water wet...
Conservative group blasts President Obama's (your topic here)
This is a "dog bites man" story. If would be newsworthy if they praised it.
Come on republicans put on your man pants and stop kissing greedy cheaters butts, stand up for yourselves and your families, enough is enough already.
I choked when I read he predicted a 5% growth per year. Never happened and probably never will.
...and he had the standard GOP tax cuts for the richest Americans and corporations in there.
No massive input of additional revenues from taxes.
To be fair though, this was a Democratic leaning organization evaluating a conservative republicans plan. Objectivity be damned. Still in all, silly time.
Say Groucho - you think you could so advise the public employee pension plans out here in Cali.? They use 8-9% returns for all future growth projections. Of course that allows them to justify their ridiculous payout schemes.
Does make you wonder though, what is Obama's economic plan these days? Closing his eyes and Hoping for the best?
Spanky-
Are you kidding? Did the projections ever match actual? Totally unrealistic. Who signs off on the budget projections in CA?
I'm thinking he feels he can allow the Bush Tax cuts to expire as a trade off for who knows what. He is going to cut defense spending...fer absolutely sure. Medicare gets a make-over but have no idea what it looks like but nothing like the Ryan proposal....fer sure.
As for jobs, honestly, I think he has his fingers crossed. He needs to generate an incentive for corporations and small businesses to hire. That isn't happening and the stagnant economy proves it.
What you doing there so late?
Spanky here is unable to listen to a little thing called "facts". Reagan and the Bushes all tried this "voodoo economics" strategy. All 3 times it failed. Furthermore, taxes for the wealthy are at an all time low. Is there any reason, any at all, to reason why the rich need lower taxes?
Sadly, it ain't even 4:00 yet. But it's cool I think my Sacramento case is going to settle, so all this hard work is again paying off. Hats off to my crack staff, they are really kicking some tail.
And yes those are the projections used here. There is a reason why we are $120 billion in the hole. So how about it America ; We are the progressive dream, the paradise of all things liberal and just. Now give us some damn money. It's the compassionate thing to do, don't you know. Sure you do.
Tax cuts will not expire - now way cluess obama would EVER raise taxes in this economy. That's be his ass, and he knows it.
Groucho - government can't do anything to create jobs. It just needs to step the f back. Problem is he's so desperate for anything he can claim a victory for so he will keep tinkering.
Sadly for you Spanky Obama has raised taxes, and it did not hurt the economy at all. Kenysian economics do work. They worked 80 years ago during the Depression, and they have again.
Spanky-
Yeah but he's only raising taxes on the top 2% which I'm betting are loaded with Republicans anyway. No harm done as far as he's concerned. Poor folks like me won't feel it at all.
Everybody's talking infrastructure jobs. It's not like you pick up a shovel and a pick and become a construction expert. There's this tiny bit of training necessary. He can't create jobs and to the extent those jobless figures continue to stay in the 9% range, he is vulnerable.
But that will be the only reason he wont raise them. I find it funny he cant raise taxes to start to reduce our debt because repubs tanked our economy for over half a decade. Yet supposed fiscal conservatives are for cutting taxes and raising our deficit and debt. Hypocrites much?
Here is another Republican candidate singing out the same book as the governors of WI, OH, FL, IN, MI. At least this guy warns us ahead of time. Anyone who would vote for this is seriously in need of crazy school.
Who is informing Gov. Pawlenty on the economy? His undergraduate degree is in political science and he has a law degree, practiced law privately before going into politics. Where does he get his economic expertise? It's not from his time as governor of Minnesota....even at the state level he left a budget deficit, spiraling property taxes and angry residents.
Oh no you didn'.
Really, we gonna start talking about qualifications and experience?
Why, what a novel concept.
Hey Kate - our property taxes are good out here. See if you can guess why.
Spanky, I am asking where Gov. Pawlenty gets his economic advice. Who is his "point-person" on the economy? Are his ideas from the Heritage Foundation, from ALEC, from Grover Norquist? Is there a professor at the U of Minnesota he's listening to? In general, we do not elect "presidents" today so much as we elect a person who has a team in place around her or him. I have asked the same question regarding Gov. Romney -- to whom will he turn for economic advice? The same for all the other candidates.
Great questions. Let's apply them to Obama.
God I sure hope the next president is more Norquist and NO Krugman. Krugman, what a boob. Still calling for more stimulus. Guess he hasn't gotten the memo - were broke Paul, now go away. Go live in lovely Eurpoe, you should love their tax and spend policies. Wait, what's that, it all austerity all the time there? How shocking. Wonder why.
So Kate, back to Cali's property taxes, capped at 1%. Harlod Jarvis saved millions of seniors from loosing their homes.
Spanky, when then-Senator Obama ran for the presidency, he did have Austin Goolsbee on his "team" -- we knew that at the time. Paul Krugman has no official role in the administration. Your continued sarcasm defeats the purpose of communication.
Yes, Spanky, Jarvis saved many seniors from losing their homes. And thank God he did, but he also got that 1% cap passed on all commercial real estate, which is one of the big reasons CA has major budget problems and commercial property is slow to sell in CA.
Diane, certainly you are not saying that less commercial real estate is being sold because the tax rate is too low?
you want sales, you need to keep taxes low. Let's try to just spend less, shall we?
Spanky, let's turn this around. Are you suggesting that less commercial real estate is being sold because the tax rate is too HIGH? Because again, taxes are at an all time low.
5%.
Where's my hip waders?
Drive By,
You'll need neck waders for this claim and you still may have to swallow some of the deep ka-ka-moo-hay to keep your chin above the rising tide of BS.
Hey Pawlenty Missy says ka-ka-moo-hay to you, I'm not sure what that means but Missy is a bright girl so ka-ka-moo-hay to you and ka-ka-moo-hay to your ridiculus plan.
Oh and a double ka-ka-moo-hay to you to Eric Cantor, with a cherry on top.
But a 4.4% growth prediction by Obama for the same time period was totally acceptable to you?
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/feb/24/obamas-projection-of-deficits-based-on-high-growth/
h, and Missy that means that Obama's number was only sixth tenths on one percent off of the numbers you put on those hip waders for.
Poor Missy, apparently math is not a strong suit.
HEEE HAAAAA!
I know a little about math Spanky, I paid more taxes than GE and a whole slew of other incredibly profitable companies, so did you, go ahead run the numbers math wiz. If you want to defend that in some manner and try to tell me why that is a good thing, well then you are a either a chump or the most generous giving person I don't really know.
Oh, no you didn't Forrest. Tell you what you go look up the actual numbers, including all the taxes paid to to other countries, and in estimated tax payments then come on back.
Or hey, maybe you did, and you are super rich. Good for you Forrest.
So profoundly silly.
I'll be around tomorrow. See you then sport.
Better yet ask my man Groucho - he thumped some wisdom on Amy last week when she spewed what you just spewed. and he appears to be a libbie like you.
Me, I hate libbie on libbie crime.
Oh yes I did Spanky. I sure did, I will be here tomorrow I still have a couple of weeks off, before I disappear for awhile. I'll do it again because I don't appreciate GE paying taxes to other governments and not ours. They didn't pay any US taxes but paid taxes in other countries I want to hear all about this. BTW if taxes were raised on the top 2% I think at this point that would only tick off about say about 2% of the population, plus you. Glad your Sacramento deal went well, and I hope you pay your crack staff well, with good wages, a health plan, and a pension plan, they deserve it, they work real hard and that hard work enables you to make a good living.
Wow - third stupid comment from you in as many posts.
So... its OK to justify tax expenditures as long as they are going to other countries yet their payment of $0 tax dollars to our country makes our country an incubator for business?
In summary - taxes are bad for business unless you are using it to justify stupidity in a post? Gotcha.
as andy rooney always says, don't you just hate it when...joannasmith1 blame the president first you can't ever stay on point and i know why the republicans stand for nothing. a philosopy of trust the corporation and tax cuts for the rich...is there anything else.....i understand why they always attack because it's hard to sell deregulation after wall street and corp after corp that manipulated for there owe good ...and tax cuts to strave the government and remove the check and balance the government provides....really joanna...trust the corporation see the robber barron period of our history....how much accountability did the wall street firms accept none...hard to understand people like yourself that allow corporate irresponsiblity but are all over any individual is not held accountable....shave the wool you'll be cooler.... i don't care what you think of obama the question is mr. vanillia paw paw....the reason the group of candiates is weak is there is no message...deregulate trust the corp get rid of the safety net social security medicare ....doesn't sound like a better america and that won't sell...
still looking for a one of you hard core explain the healtcare business model that is just jumping at the chance to start insuring 65 year old at a price the middle class can afford that dog don't hunt...and neither does that ryan plan when it's based on the fact that insurance companys want to start insuring people that would bankrupt them no matter how high the premuim. u know their for profit right..
Oh no Marc you got it all wrong they are going to give you a $6000 dollar voucher and that will EMPOWER you to deal directly with the insurance companies, then the free market will force the insurance companies and providers to lower their price. I pay over $12000 a year now but this $6000 dollar coupon will bring them to their knees, the insurance companies will be falling all over themselves to insure people. Once we have that coupon in our hand look out insurance company I am EMPOWERED. HA. You will need that coupon in one hand and a gun in the other before anybody will insure you at age 60 for that price.
Where is the Democrat sponsered plan?
It's called medicare haven't you ever heard about it, it has been around for awhile now.
Yes, seeing as I have been paying into it since the late 60's. But what is the the plan to maintain it's solvency?
Me too, not quite as long as you but I paid in plenty and continue to do so. Here are some facets of "my plan", eliminate a huge amount of billing fraud by health-care providers, streamline the billing process, but protect it's integrity, that will help lower the costs to the provider. Did you ever notice when you go to the doctors office, there is a doctor and a nurse and 3 ladies doing paperwork. An increase in funding by way of a small tax on large corporations like Wal-mart (and others) that do not provide health care to their employee's, and a 1 cent fee on all stock trades (that would not put the hurt on anybody, but would actually generate a lot of money) revamp and adjust benefits slightly if necessary. But there is no way I think people like yourself should be left out in the cold and the system destroyed as I believe the Ryan plan would do. I refuse to believe that we have to turn our back on the old, the sick or the poor. We can do this, we put a man on the moon, we can do this. I can't stand all this we can't do this, and we can't do that talk, this is the USA we can fix this, we must fix this. We are spending 2 billion a week (for ten years now) on war with countries that don't have a navy, or an air force, and could never attack us, so I don't want anybody telling me we can't afford to keep the deal we made with you, after you kept your end of the bargain. If we can't fix this then Osama Bin-Laden did defeat us, If we can't fix this then what the hell did those kids die for. We got to fix this Bob we made a promise to you and many others and I think we can and should damn well keep it.
Well I have read the post here and have a few questions?
1. The tax rates have not changed in the last 10 years, where the hell are the jobs. It seems that more people were employed under the higher rates. Am I wrong?
2. If tax raises are off the table then why is medicare not off the table. How does one party get to have absolutes and the other party not?
3. How can both parties claim that everything is on the table but then say well something are not and expect me to believe them?
4. Why would you be for firing government workers when your trying to fight unemployment. Doesnt that just create more?
5. Are both parties trying to get the american people to accept jobs and wages of a third world country?
6. Unions are a collection of people fighting against a minority of people to get better wages and benifits why would we discourage that in a democracy?
I voted for a republican gov. this year and to me it seems he is making unemployment worse not better. He also seem to be blaming the unemployed for being unemployed which to me seems crazy? I mean he is firing teachers and trashmen. Are they really the problem?
What have the Repubs done??????
I'll show you.

The party of NO
No Leaders
No Ideas
No Morals.
We don't need the GOP
MJL-3
Of course the party of "NO" cares not for the millions of suffering people in this country who have lost their jobs, homes, insurance, savings, EVERYTHING! (some even their lives)
The party of "NO" will do ANYTHING to STOP the creation of jobs! They believe this will prevent President Obama from winning the election in 2012!
BOO! - GOP ='s Grab Our Paychecks! - Obama in 2012! Uh-Rah!
Absolutely
OBAMA 2012
I have 2 news updates for you MJL :-)
WashingtonPost ( definitely Liberal ) Poll today -- Romney 49 Obama 46,, wow,, just think if the Republicans had a real candidate - lol-- right now they are ahead of Obama with a nobody :-)
Gallup Poll ( the standard for all polls ) -- 46 % of registered voters state they will NOT vote for obama.
No wonder Obama leaves the borders open :-)
MJL, the Repooplicans are openly sneering at the American Public, they are demeaning the the whole idea of positive change, cooperative effort, and meaningful compromise, while offering nothing but regressive and oppressive proposals so radical that even Attila the Hun would not vote for them. The Repooplican Party is derailed and completely out of touch with all but the most radical right wing Americans. The have criticized government to the point that we wonder why they bother to participate in it at all. They have driven America into a financial catastrophe with their antiquated ideas and now they want to finish us off with lunatic proposals that turn America over to international pirates ( Multi-national Corporations) that they apparently work for.
The Liberals and Obama no longer have any credibility left on Economics and Solutions.
Passing Obama Care against the will of the people so Obama could have a total take over of Health Care was exactly the wrong thing to do. When the Supreme Court voids Obama Care, what will Libs say ? When 30% of all businesses now say they will drop Health Care Benefits because of Obama Care,, what do Liberals say other than - Yea ,, Outstanding - Single payer is on the way -- Whoopee.. but Medicare is going under so how does Obama Care survive economically ? How do you suppose Obama Care is paid for when Waivers now exceed 1500 ?
Business focused TV shows such as Squawk on the Street now openly concur that the STimulus did nothing but push the problem down the road to preserve Union Teachers and Government jobs. That is why the States have to act and watch New York start following Wisconsin in requiring Unions to at least contribute to their illegal , bought and paid for Benefits plans at the State Level.
Why are the Blue States ( Pro Union - High Tax - Liberal driven ) in the worst shape ? Feisty , how does Illinois propose to pay over $45 billion in unfunded debt ,, by raising taxes and having the EPA shut down farmers ? How does Jerry Brown avoid addressing the very State Pension Plans he introduced in the 70s ?
The Liberal Keynesian Theory has failed. We as a country face overwhelming , unpayable debt. Now the pain starts. The Bailouts are over from the Feds and the Fed Reserve cannot print money without concern or the result is Runaway Inflation . And if Inflation hits,, it only raises the Interest on the Gov. Debt to unsustainable levels. Current Interest Cost on Debt is over $200 billion . In coming years it will rise to over $1 Trillion ,, consuming all discretionary spending and bankrupting Medicare, Social Security , Medicade , Food Stamps,,
Moody's has issued the second warning ,, get your spending under control. Moody's didn't say raise taxes,, because unless spending is controlled, you cannot raise taxes enough to pay the Debt,, and the American Economy falls into a Double Dip Depression.
Obama's rotating line up of Economic Advisers know his agenda is hopeless and cannot be explained.
American Tax Payers realize the fraud of Union Benefits packages and will no longer stand for the Democratic Let's Buy Union Votes. No where was Obama's political evil more clear than Obama Care where votes were openly bought, and legislation rules were written after the Bill was passed.
2800 page legislation that no one understands, least of all those Far Left Liberals that write this crap,,, paralyze our economy. Businesses refuse to hire when they could, because they do not know what taxes in this legislation will cost them. Dodd Frank is a disaster and is being delayed right now because implimenting it will reduce credit access to small business and add steep cost for all business.
The Liberals look silly because they have failed and everyone knows it. Stocks down again today and headn ed below 12,000 while costs increase on gas, food and 100s of new Federal Agencies write rules no one understands.
2012 elections will crush the Liberal plan to Socialize America. Of that I have zero doubt.
The Liberals can no longer use ideology to defend Obama's Liberal Progressive Destructive Agenda.
Biden will reach agreement with Republicans to formally cut back spending in return for lifting the Debt Level because he has no other choice. The Fed Reserve bascially said yesterday this has to happen. Foreign Creditors including China , India, Germany, and other countries have reduced spending,, while Greece has not and will go under - to be followed by Spain and Portugal. And most importantly ,, Americans want a Bi Partisan solution to cut spending. Obama is trapped and must give up his open agenda to convert to European Socialism. Obama's lack of experience and his Cabinet of Far Left Radicals have proven they are clueless.
What you hear now are the final wailing of the Lefties on here because it becomes clearer each day , that Obama has failed. No amount of Racial, Class Warfare, Pro Big Government continued Devisessive Ideology by Liberals - can hide the fact that American faces bankruptcy due to the Liberal Agenda of Entitlements in return for Votes. The Liberals have succeeded in grabbing so much of everyone else's money since 1913,, and now the bank has run dry . There is no money to steal.
$61 Trillion in Unfunded Entitlement Liabilities are a fact of reality - The Dew Drop Inn is not reality !
The GOP/TEA party are nowhere conservatives - The GOP/TEA party are liberal - The state of the economy is not the fault of the president, but the fault of the 112th Congress. The 112th Congress said they would generate jobs in their efforts to get the economy going. They lied! The 112th Congress said they would work with the president on the economy. They lied! The 112th Congress has failed to fund legislation of the previous Congress in their effort to change the legislation that would make a real difference in America. The US economy is floundering due to the efforts of The 112th Congress. The 112th Congress has passed no meaningful legislation in five months. The 112th Congress is forcing their narrow-minded Social Conservatism on the American public. The 112th Congress is the real "Liberals' in America. They are liberal to and for the richest two percent(2%) of Americans. The 112th Congress is the real "Liberals' in America by failing to enhance tax rates on the richest American who control forty percent(40%) of the wealth in America. President Obama has shown true leadership by standing head-to-head with the "Scorched Earth" GOP/TEA party and their "Paul Ryan Manifesto".
Poor Tim Pawlenty. He has been made an asterisk in this race by Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin is not a real American, she's a money hungry attention getter with her pocket book open for free monies and contributions. She is not going to run for the presidency, and all she's doing is sucking the air out of the sails of other well intentioned contenders. There should be no confusion due the fact that Palin is not telling any of the major news outlets her itinerary and only telling FOX. ABC, CBS, NBC and other outlets should not cover her at all and see how long that lasts. She is a news freak and her candidacy would shrivel up and die for sure.
