You have to go to a real news network to get info when a Dem screws up. You won't see anything but pushing the 0bama agenda on MessNBC.

Obama wants to take a clue from past reelection campaigns?? He can declare himself a Republican and drop to his knees and beg the Republican adults in the room for a little guidance, and then he could leave with a little honor. Otherwise, he can just leave the White House by the service entrance.

No problem as to what to say: Blame Bush and play the race card. Speeches are already on the teleprompters. Use AF 1 to travel at taxpayer expense to give a speech each day.

What does Obama need to say?

Considering his competition this election cycle, the only thing he needs to do is not get caught with a dead girl or a live boy in his bed.

What should Obama say?! Why doesn't he tell the truth? He can explain why he was sitting in Rev. Wrights church for 20 years listening to "we hate America" speeches ,why he ratchets up wars, after excepting a Nobel Peace Prize, why he was bowing to Arab despots, why his DOJ is going after the CIA when he (Obama) used their intel in order to kill OBL, why the bailouts and "stimulus" which did nothing to lower the unemployment rate, and why tell the Brazilians we'll buy their oil after he banned drilling here. OH WAIT, if he tells the truth, no one will vote for him.

Why doesn't he say what Lyndon B. Johnson said? Something to the effect of "I will not seek my party's nomination, nor will I accept it".

Doe not look good for the Messiah Lemmings. And its going to get worse. This guy makes Jimmy Carter look smart.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Americans' disapproval of how President Barack Obama is handling the economy and its growing budget deficit has reached new highs amid broad frustration over the slow pace of economic recovery, according to a Washington Post-ABC New poll released on Tuesday.

The ratings boost Obama received after the killing of Osama bin Laden has dissipated with his job approval rating back to 47 percent. Forty-nine percent disapprove of his performance.

I think he should say that he did the best he could with the mess he inherited: the economic meltdown was not on his watch - the opposition party had the most to do with it. That he implemented policies that ameliorated the impact of the meltdown and has been responsible for improvements from the dangerous condition at the end of 2008: e.g. the stimulus measures, the rescue of the US auto industry, which in spite of the right’s blather have been recognized by leading economists to be the correct approach given the situation we were in.

That if he has to apologize to anyone it is to the loyal Democrats that hoped he would adhere to their agenda more closely – and as expressed in his 2006 book The Audacity of Hope. That he swung as hard to the middle as he could without negating his principles, as he viewed his role as being President of all the people – quite a contrast with recent Republican Presidents (Nixon, Reagan, Bush I and Bush II); but in spite of his attempt to compromise, to the point of giving up many of his cherished hopes, Republicans have swung even further to the right, dashing any hope of real compromise.

Sarah Palin observed halfway through his first term “how’s that Hopey stuff workin’ for ya’?” Pretty cynical, as the reason for not achieving the “Hope” he expressed in the 2008 campaign is due to the audacity of the Party of No, as well as the Great Recession inherited from the Repubs.

I think he should say that the 2 wars we are waging was also not of his doing, and that he has worked to accelerate the wind-down of both wars; that he has contributed to closure of this conflict by the killing of its leader, Bin Laden. That he has improved the US position in the eyes of the world, which will result in increased cooperation with other countries on counter terrorism and the economy.

Lots for him to say, and so far nothing to regret.

Why does the Democratic Party hate the white middle class working man? Seems if you are white and make more than $30K the Democratic Party only wants you to shut up and pay more taxes.

Pres. Obama said today we are not headed for a double dip recession. But it is not like he has been right on any economic programs. Keynsian economics have always produced a double dip recession. Liberals laud FDR's use of Keysian type economics in the '30's but they produce a double dip depression then. If we do not learn from history, we are destined to repeat it.

The proble with this story starts with the title. Obama said a lot in 2008 that he has not lived up to. Why should we believe him again?
