Hey, Feisty: I'm late, but looking forward to my Mojito! Save me one, won't you? Out with my cherub today, but had to pop back in to see how things were at First Read. What oh what have we learned this week? Palin models the definition of loyalty to friends by stepping on Mitten's roll out for President. She had to race there on a bus, (actually didn't know buses could move that fast) to make sure that she stole the thunder with her histrionic demands "Hey everybody, don't look at him, LOOK AT MEEEEEEEE!" The media kindly complied, and no one asked her if that is how you pay back someone who, according to Sam Stein at Huffington Post, poured money into advertising on her campaign for Governor, like Mitt did. I guess a family value to Sarah is not loyalty to benefactors. She might also want to consider the behavior of her daughter Piper, who pushed back a reporter trying to ask her mother questions. Or is that great American family value, showing respect to one's elders, not taught to Sarah's badly behaved daughter? One would like to know. Other than that, it was the usual suspects doing the usual things. Pawlenty is trying to figure out what to do about Bachmann, and still convince people that he is not as far right as he is, Bachmann STILL hearing God say, "sure Michelle, run for President". And now enters DeMint, who is also asking God if he should run. Just proves the Almighty has a sense of humor, and is enjoying the show as much as the rest of us. My thanks to Mark, Domenico and all the rest who keep us informed! We love what you write and appreciate the information. Feisty, IR, and all my friends at the Dew Drop Inn. Fire up the grill. I stopped and got a local vendors wonderful Jalapeno brats! Nothing better on a day like this! See you at the Dew Drop Inn.

Hi guys - wish you'd dig into the local government job losses a little more deeply. Is there a disproportionate loss in states with Republican governors?

Yep, can not have people standing around doing nothing at home, when they can do it at their state job! Why should taxes be used for something important? As the Republican governors expose more waste, liberals get exposed for the waste that they caused! SCOTT WALKER for President!!

Ah yes, the great myth of the ignorant: State workers do nothing. That is, except for going into fires and rescuing people, providing protection to citizens, teaching our children....but we don't need any of these people. Until that emergency arises when we do.

Good morning newdayDAWNING10

Ah yes, the great myth of the ignorant: State workers do nothing. That is, except for going into fires and rescuing people, providing protection to citizens, teaching our children....but we don't need any of these people. Until that emergency arises when we do.

Thank you newday

Never in my lifetime have I seen such a group of ignorant, ill advised people. Fox news is committing a crime against humanity with the dumbing down of its audience. Really, Fox should be banned from cable and TV for lies. Canada was smart they got rid of FOX LIES.

Keep Fox Lies Out of America

s America's middle class battles for its survival on the Wisconsin barricades - against various Koch Oil surrogates and the corporate toadies at Fox News - fans of enlightenment, democracy and justice can take comfort from a significant victory north of the Wisconsin border. Fox News will not be moving into Canada after all! The reason: Canadian regulators announced last week they would reject efforts by Canada's right-wing Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, to repeal a law that forbids lying on broadcast news.

Canada's Radio Act requires that "a licenser may not broadcast ... any false or misleading news." The provision has kept Fox News and right-wing talk radio out of Canada and helped make Canada a model for liberal democracy and freedom

http://readersupportednews.org/opinion2/276-74/5123-fox-news-lies-keep-them-out-of-canada

=======================================================

FOX NEWS needs the same action here in America. FOX NEWS is nothing more than an arm of the Republican party which no longer stands for democracy and the working classes of people. It's time to make FOX LIES illegal in America in order to give Americans the choice to think and decide what real issues they want instead of plutocratic and anti-democratic visions of the Koch Brothes.

Have a nice day with the little Angels.

Oh, boy Andy better watch out for that Sarah Palin ya'll know how much of a "drama queen" she is. She could not even enjoy her Family vacation/campaign bus tour. Seems the half- wit half governor was searching for to be alone.

Now does this picture look like someone who doesn't want any media attention?

        http://www.rumproast.com/images/uploads/SPNY_Blues_5.jpg

It's been another great week and a wild ride for Sarah. Everything was cop-esthetic until she got into a little trouble.

Half Gov.-half wit Sarah Palin got in a little trouble about loving her "carbon rise".

The liberal group’s blog on Tuesday flagged Palin’s Sunday exclamation at the Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally about that “I love that smell of the emissions.”

“Ironically, the same day Palin professed her love of carbon emissions, the International Energy Agency [IEA] issued a dramatic announcement on the same subject: greenhouse-gas emissions increased by a record amount last year to the highest carbon output in history.

Andy, watch out don't let Sarah invite you to lunch. I heard she likes really cruddy Pizza.

Thanks FR crew for all your hard work. Everyone have a great weekend!!!

Feisty I'll take my Mojito and popcorn now. We'll toast and show the right wingers what it is like to be in unity.

The week in summary: Sarah Palin 1, moonbats 0.

It is all Palin, all the time, at MoonBat Central, First Read and MSNBC.

Sarah Palin merely gets on a bus, tours historical sites, and that gets in the otherwise-empty heads of the liberals. Palin Derangement Syndrome is apparently incurable.

Palin plays the media like a Stradivarius.

Drink up and drown your sorrows at the mythtical Dew Drop Inn. You lost again.

She is going from a sideshow to being a major embarrasment to our country. (Steve, STFU. No need to comment on Pres Obama. That's PRESIDENT Obama) The rest of us know that the guy before him really set our country back as far as respect from other countrys.

do you think she will go to all 57 States on her bus tour?

                      I hope so.

By the way, isn't it interesting...her tour was supposed to include stops at "historical sites that were key to the formation, survival, and growth of the United States of America."

Why didn't her bus tour stop at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis or the United States Military Academy at West Point? Are these not key to the survival and growth of the United States? Had a Democrat not stopped at these locations the Conservatives would be positively apoplectic!

As a resident of the area, will she be visiting the Saratoga National Historical Park? Seems to me there would be no United States without the Battle of Saratoga.

I don't know why she doesn't stop there, because unlike you and the Liberals, I don't follow her around and hang on here every word she says. Why do you care where she goes? She's not running for office is she?

This country has more issues than follow Palin around. If you're happy with 9.1% unemployment, biggest drop in the market since for a week since 2004. Housing prices continue to fall. More people on food stamps than ever, than you must be happy on how this country is doing and you have nothing better to do than follow Palin around.

                        #10.8 - Sat Jun 4, 2011 3:07 PM EDT

"It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."

                        Abraham Lincoln.

For those Conservatives that think that we are being too harsh on Sarah Palin, I offer this simple hunter's analogy:

If an animal is stupid enough to stray into your sights, would you or would you not pull the trigger?

What I find really amazing is the fact that the ONLY thing you have to counter the many gaffes that she has made is President Obama's 57 States gaffe. Its like you're trying to win a poker game with just an ace high hand while trying to bluff in order to get the pot KNOWING that your opponent has a hand stronger than yours; in this case, a ROYAL FLUSH!!!!

And before you get in a tizzy stating that she has accomplished much in her career, you have to understand that each of her accomplishments has a taint to them; AND the BIGGEST TAINT of all was when she quit halfway through her term as Governor of Alaska because she was being investigated for her role in "Troopergate". Let me bring it home to you: We are highly critical of Michele Bachmann, and she didn't quit; during the last midterm elections, BOTH Christie O'Donnell AND Sharon Angle lost their races, and I would think that we were ten times harder on them, but they never quit their campaign races. ATLEAST in that aspect, they have earned my respect. HELL, you guys were way more critical of Nancy Pelosi when she was Speaker of the House, and the GOP made it their mission to make her life a political hell AND SHE DIDN'T QUIT; nor did Maxine Waters(D-CA-LA) who is CURRENTLY being investigated by the House Ethics Committee; SO what maker her ANY SPECIAL than these women?

                          #10.9 - Sun Jun 5, 2011 1:53 AM EDT

Well Kevin, when it's 2011 and Obama writes down 2008 in a guest book is a good blunder too. I don't care if you rag on Palin, what I find odd is this obsession you have with her. It's like a cult like mentality or even a stalking mentality.

Never heard of that analogy and if it's yours, I bet you're a sh**y hunter. I assuming you never hunted before or only hunted a few times.

Again, I don't get into a "Tizzy" as you say, I don't get a excited over a woman that might or might not run for office and if she did, I wouldn't vote for her.

If ignorance is bliss, Sarah is blissful. Paul Revere rang bells to warn the British not to take our arms? wow, can you say ignorant? I thought everybody learned this 1 in 3rd Grade. This woman wants to be President? She should see if she can pass the citizenship exam first. She needs to learn some facts about this country first.

I also like her attack on Romney and MA's health care mandate passed BY THE PEOPLE OF MASSACHUSETTS. I hope everyone enjoys Targeter's contempt for the people of Massachusetts, especially her timing while they are reeling from tornadoes.

Sarah thinks we should put all our trust in our business leaders to know what is best for us. Shows who owns the Tea Bags. I really trust the people who managed the economy so well I had to bail them out. The people who brought us the 2nd Great Depression, the mortgage crises and the foreclosure crisis. The people who have shipped all our production to China, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, etc so we are having another jobless recovery and McDonald's hiring 50,000 people is a cause for celebration. The people who want your children to flip burgers or whore for them for minimum wage and no benefits. The people who feel free to walk away and stick Me with the bill to clean up there superfund sites. The people who brought us the Gulf oil spill and the Fukishima melt down. The people who feel free to skimp on mine safety and pollute our drinking water supplies.

These are the people who want to turn social security over the Wall Street Managers who destroyed the world economy and turned to us to bail them out. These people want to end medicare for me after I have paid into it for 40 years. Yes, put your trust in the business leaders and their owned politicians- the TEA Party. The Tea Bags chose the right name for themselves. Sometimes there is truth in advertising.

Goes both ways azindy, I agree she's a moron, but the President thinks there's 57 States. What people brought you the 2nd Great Depression? If I recall it was Dodd and Frank that said there wasn't a housing problem. Do you remember that or am I wrong? We are going on the third year of this failed President's policies and you continue to blame the "other guy". Did Obama's budget plan get shot down 97-0 in the Senate? What does that tell you of his leadership or better yet lack of leadership.

We all know that when you have access to high credit limit, it does not mean that you must borrow everything that is allocated for you to borrow; but high credit limit is still essential for your financial security and stability should need for borrowing arise. Likewise, a higher debt ceiling for USA is essential for the country’s safety, security and economic stability.

I believe there is no right thinking American who can come up and say with confidence that he/she would be happy and be in a better position if the bank had to lower the amount he/she is allowed to borrow? Corporations too would never favor the idea of the banks limiting the amount they can borrow.

Why then are some ill motivated individuals trying to limit the amount of money this great country can borrow from 'wherever other countries borrow’? Countries which are restricted from borrowing whatever they need are mainly the 3rd world countries whereby such restrictions have even made them lag behind in terms of development. United States of America should never be included in that category of Third world countries which still have to be controlled or limited on how much they can borrow. United States is a supper power in all aspects and will always remain that way in many years to come.

Republicans need to watch their words because foreign countries which envy America are listening to the things they say. United States' strength and ability to make negotiations or dealings with foreign countries in the international arena is not something that any person in his right state of mind should put limits on. The country must be allowed flexibility when it comes to its dealings with foreign powers depending on the prevailing circumstances.
