PORTSMOUTH, NH -- It isn't over, but it’s over for now.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin made one last unconventional stop on her way to the airport this morning to fly home to Alaska. Her caravan of SUVs and reporters' cars stopped at the Golden Egg, a diner here that is used to candidates dropping by, but not completely unexpectedly. (One waitress said they would’ve had all their regulars waiting if they had known she was coming.)
But there was one person who knew Palin was showing up here: rookie New Hampshire GOP Sen. Kelly Ayotte, whom Palin endorsed last year.
Ayotte, the senator's husband, and Palin chit-chatted about their children and Alaska travels over coffee as Palin’s parents sat at a table nearby and ate breakfast. Piper was also in tow, eating a sticky bun.
When their chat turned to politics, they lowered their voices, so the microphone only picked up snippets like “55," “the longer we put it off," "Paul Ryan," and "Medicare." The political tone of the stops in New Hampshire -- coupled with this morning’s breakfast and last night’s clambake of who’s who in conservative New Hampshire -- keeps everybody interested in speculating whether or not she will run for president.
That intrigue propelled her to the biggest headline on the front page of the New Hampshire Union Leader this morning, literally shoving Mitt Romney’s presidential announcement yesterday aside.
Palin dropped a few more hints about the next leg of the tour before she took off to the airport. “I don't know if in the next week or two, we have to get back and regroup and figure out schedules and who next can hop on the bus with us - we will figure all that out,” Palin said.
When pressed about which part of the country she may visit next she said, “Midwest and then eventually West... I'd love to do South, too. I just heard from [South Carolina Gov.] Nikki Haley the other day, and I'd love for us to hit her state, too. She is great.”
So it seems like Palin’s tour is not only about seeing historic sites and handing out pocket Constitutions, but also checking in on her team of Mama Grizzlies.
Perhaps another clue to where the Liberty Mystery tour may be headed next.

THANK GOD!
Doesn't every one who goes on a family vacation traipse around sightseeing in stilettos & mini skirts? lol
She's raised quite the mini pit-bull in that Piper of hers - chasing away those BIG bad reporters from Mama Grizzly!
More like a farce then a vacation.
If she is confident in her worldview, why is she so terrified to answer questions about it?
That is one sweet RV. I wish I could tour those sites. So far away, but man that would be fun.
I wonder what gets better gas mileage - Palin's RV or Obama's Limo?
Thanks Forst Read - this really is "the place for politics." :)
And Piper was in tow and seen eating a sticky bun????? I'm glad that I had the chance to read this.
My thoughts exactly Tom. This is what passes as Journalism, or Politics. The Only ones concerned with Palin, are the "Carnival Barkers"themselves(formerly known as the MSM), which shows what a sad State of affairs, America's media is in nowadays.
Now that Palin has enough footage for her next Movie titled "Driving Miss Crazy", Americas "Carnival Barkers"can return to the more important issues of the Day, such as:
8Million Jobs LOST during the previous administration, 2.1 Million Jobs recovered so far for the present adminstration:
Tax Breaks don't Create Jobs, because if they did, the economy would've taken off by now!
President Obama, if you've learned anything from this Jobs report, it should be the FACT, that continued Tax Breaks are'nt the Cure:
Thier the Problem!
You Betcha!
Hey you know what would t your point across Rick
The next time FR posts anything about Palin do not comment. What do you think FR would do if no on commented?
Too bad you all just can't get enough Palin. MSNBC has more coverage of here than anywhere else. Must be because you libbies loves you some Palin.
I think that we should be able to collapse the original article. This one should get a "No Value".
I double dog dare you.
But alas, although they bitch and moan, it is obvius that the folks here cannot get enough Palin love, and that they secretly love all things Palin.
Also you suggestion is not very respectful. The more appropriate thing to do would be to boycott the entire site.
So long.
Here comes me some Spanky-Spanky,the newset addition to Grammar Teachers:
Thanks Forst Read, truly WTF!
Hey you know would t your point across Rick.
Get off Bevs case until you yourself learn a little English there spanky-Spanky.
Awww, come on Rick, you know I only speak in jibberish.
Per FR..."keeps everybody interested in speculating whether or not she will run for president".
Honest, no it doesn't.
When did Palin trade Piper (Cessna? Mooney??) for little Trig as her favorite road-trip prop? The poor little girl looks absolutely bored to tears when they show her on camera. Some mother, that quitter-doofus-squid-woman.
Awww DBO - has it really come to this for you?
You now feel compelled to attack Palin as a mother. Really?
How sad and pathetic.
No, you are pathetic, for defending someone who is so self-involved. There is only one person that matters to Sarah, and that is . . . Sarah. Forget the kids. She has . . . unless they're good for a photo op.
You are so right - cause I'm the one who made fun of a little girl's name.
Great job Drive By. So which would allow you to make more fun of, Cessna or Mooney?
You are the man, DBO. A real manly man picking on 10 year olds. Proud you must be.
Gonna be a great Friday Drive By. Be ready.
"You now feel compelled to attack Palin as a mother. Really?"
Yes, really- Show me where I'm wrong.
"You are the man, DBO. A real manly man picking on 10 year olds. Proud you must be."
Show me where I 'picked on' the youngster. I was acutally expressing concern for her. But go ahead on, and show me.
But hey, we get it. You think Palin's the cat's meow. Some do, some don't. Ususally, though, it's the screwballs that do. Where you fit in, there, Mr Q 'n A?
I'm a SCREW ball. Oh and it's Mr. T&A. Big difference, as you know.
And I again refer you to the part where you made fun of the little girls name. As for you mothering it is 1. none of my business, and 2. irrelevant to anything here. Well except for you Palin-itis.
So do tell, why is her mothering a concern of yours?
Spank- making fun of the names is making fun of....guess who.... the 'mother' and father. Unless, of course, the little girl named herself, that is. I guess I never considered that posibility. Now- you were saying...?
Her mothering is only a concern up to the point that it demonstrates her character (or lack of) to a degree. I would lilke to think caracter counts for someone that might be trying to 1) get elected president, or 2) thinks THEY can comment on the character of someone ELSE without scrutiny. Get it, Einstein? I knew that you could.
Well now, Johnny Edwards was indicted. Bad day getting worse for the Democrats. Maybe Johnny can use Anthony Weiner’s lawyers to help him out?

Well now, Johnny Edwards was indicted. Bad day getting worse for the Democrats. Maybe Johnny can use Anthony Weiner’s lawyers to help him out?
John Edwards is a skumb bag. what he did to his wife was criminal i hope he gets his.
JoAnnaSmith1...
...or use Newt's. I'm sure he's got a whole team working day and night.

"Bad day getting worse for the Democrats"
I keep my eyes and nose off other peoples personal mess. you know why, because it's their f*^*king sh!t.
what will you call rebuplicants congress in ability to come up with any meaningful job bill/s? how about ryan's medicaregate? that's what WE care about.
No, no Pius - what you care about, as reported on by your media friends here at MSNBC, is Sarah Palin.
Pius, why does MSNBC hate you so much?
SPANKY
Unlike faux news, MSNBC report news as it is. By the way i did not make mention of teapublicants idol, Dropout Gov. Sarah Palin......you know why because she's EMPTY. I won't waste my time on a goon. Hey Spanky, LEAN FORWARD.LOL
Personal? Hardly. This is a federal indictment involving illegal campaign contributions. This is a federal indictment against a former US Senator, a serious Presidential candidate in 2004 and 2008, and a man that was nearly Vice-President. Pretty serious stuff.
Apparently there are Two Americas. One where people obey the law, the other where they don't.
I always lean forward Piu
But the problem with your little rebuttal, such that is was, is you are here, posting in the comments section of an article on Palin.
But dude, I will be getting all my news from MSNBC this weekend.
And I LOVED AL Sharpton last night. Better entertainment there is not.
JoAnna- I, too, agree Edwards is a scum bag. Good call.
He's no better than some bone-addict trying to 'get some' in an airport men's room.
All of this information that we are breathlessly waiting to learn. Like Tom, I am glad to learn that Piper was eating a sticky bun, but where is Trig?
The little 'props' services weren't required for this particular side show!
Fear NOT though - she'll drag him out when the time is right! ;o)
That intrigue propelled her to the biggest headline on the front page of the New Hampshire Union Leader this morning, literally shoving Mitt Romney's presidential announcement yesterday aside.
And here in MA, someone over @ DailyKos wrote yesterday that he/she put on the local 6:00 news here last night and because of the storm, Romney's announcement didn't get coverage until 25 minutes into the newscast.
And people here found it fascinating that as a former governor of MA, Romney failed to mention the storm that caused so much damage in the western part of the state.
I overhead two women walking in front of me this morning, and Palin's name was mentioned. Both of them chuckled and one said - oh please and then they both laughed. {So did I quietly}.
And the Bruins are in the Stanley Cup right now. Did either Romney or Palin mention that little fact? I'm not sure I heard it mentioned. Perhaps they didn't know?
I saw NBC got huge ratings for the first game. Cool.
I'm not much of a hockey fan, and never was, even during the days of Bobby Orr and Derek Sanderson, etc. But fans here are so excited. They've been die hard Bruins fans their entire lives so hopefully things end up well for them. I would have thought Romney would make a big deal of that. Maybe he did and I missed it?
Dreams of My Father
My father was planning/hoping to be a professional hockey player after high school, but then WWII broke out and that was the end of that. He was quite an athlete.
Anyway, good luck Bruins and their fans.
Gosh this is really getting bad. Poor libbies, as things continue to get worse for them, and this as been a really bad week, they are forced to rely more and more of Think Progress, Move ON, Daily Kos and other hard lefty sites for comments and content.
What's the mattter libbies can't formulate a post on your own. Things so bad you have to copy other people's thoughts?
Still hating all rebulicans Pat? Such a lovely open-mind you have there.
Yes Spanky, I dislike Republicans. Both the GOP politicians and those who vote for them. It's why we're in the mess we're in.
But my biggest disdain is for the former Republicans who now sell themselves as "progressives" or "liberals" or just plain Democrats. I blame them for voting R in the past.
And now they're putting all the blame on President Obama when it is they themselves who are to blame for voting "R" in the first place all those years ago.
But it's okay. The GOP and fake liberals have nothing but disdain for me because I truly believe in President Obama. Big time. So we're even.
Oh I got it Pat - you hate all white republicans, you ranted about that all day yesterday.
Oh and I'm pretty sure it's you who disdain the GOP and fake liberals.
Oh I got it Pat
Good.
btw, did you hear Sarah speaking about the Dream Act when she was @ Ellis Island?
It was disgraceful. All children deserve a good education if they want it. Every single child on this planet. Regardless of how they got where they are.
The future depends on an educated society. The more the better. In every single country.
"And the Bruins are in the Stanley Cup right now. Did either Romney or Palin mention that little fact? I'm not sure I heard it mentioned. Perhaps they didn't know?"
If Palin mentioned hockey, you libs would have your usual, um, witty, comebacks about Hockey Moms and such, and Palin not addressing the important issues of the day.
Go Bruins!
you hate all white republicans, you ranted about that all day yesterday.
OR,
we could blame the illegal immigrants who were hired by the white republicans because of greed, or we could blame blacks or we could blame Massachusetts or Teddy Kennedy for all the woes of this country. We could blame teachers or unions or Medicare or Social Security. It's what we've been hearing for years and years and years.
But I know. We don't talk about white rich republicans and their unwilligness to pay the proper taxes in polite society. Do we. We just blame everybody and anything else.
Pat - If you voted for Obama...I blame you.
Pat - they deserve to be educated in their own country.
Ellis island does not advance you arguments. It was all LEGAL immigration.
Gosh Pat everyone deserves a home and food. Yet there are thousands of homeless in your town. Yet you have a lock on your front door. Why do you deny good people things they need Pat?
Why doesn't the country get to choose who comes in? And why do you hate all the poeple trying to do it legally, the ones waiting in line.
Pat - you are out of touch on this, just like the rest of the libbies. Now Dream Act will ever pass. They need to go home. Their countries need those smart people more than we do. Plus we have already paid $100,0000 for their k-12 educations.
And look there's that hatred of WHITE republicans again. I know several rich BLACK republicans. Uncle Toms, right Pat.
Sad and pathetic. Totally racist as well.
Quick, everybody, party at Willow's house tonight! Her parents are away and she's supposed to be watching her baby brother! I'll bring the keg!
Gosh that'd be great if you only had a car. But Amy dear it'd cost you at least a weeks salary to get there in gas.
But nice to pick on somebody's kids.
Spanky, I just thought I'd throw a little attention Willow's way and remind folks of the two year boy who must be missing his mother.
What mother, Amy?
Well in that case bringing a KEG will be very helpful.
Amy you got busted, don't try to make silly excuses like you care.
Oh and Drive By - that's be the MILF.
Mmmm MMMM mmmm..... fried eggs on a nail. Yep. MILF -a- liscious.
It was a joke Spanky. My you're touchy about Sarah's parenting skills, or lack there of. Hitting too close to home?
I would like to apologize in advanced for commenting on this pointless article, but SP is at a place where no matter what interviews she does, what books she sells, what cities she tours, what TV shows her daughters are on, what movies she makes, what brand she creates, and what speech she gives.................SHE'S NOT GAINING ANY "NEW" SUPPORTERS. Not to mention she is not qualified to run (across the street)
That'd be relevent if she was running.
But you know what she is gaining?
1. a butt-load of cash;
2. a lot of respect from people who love to see her totally play the media.
Plus she's making so many liibbie heads explode, which has to count for something, right?
It is hard to put into words the disdain I have for Gov. Palin. How much diesel fuel will be spent having someone drive her empty bus back to where it came from? Why is she so inconsiderate of the (traffic) laws and plans of other people while on vacation? Why did she think she was qualified to teach people about our "founding documents?" Everything she says is factually inaccurate or outright wrong and deceitful, and everyone who supports her or covers for her is being dragged down....
lol!!! this story is just too much fun!!! sarah palin's mystery tour bus!!! i love it!!!
comments from New Hampshire-ites on todays
http://www.seacoastonline.com/articles/20110603-NEWS-106030387
Why does the media give Palin so much coverage if she isn't a serious candidate?
Cause you keep talking about her Amy.
Try ignoring her.
Wait, you just can't, can you?
I'm still working on ignoring YOU, Spanky.
And it looks like you are equally bad about that too.
Keep going, Sarah. You had such a great time in my state during the Capitol protests, didn't you? Thanks for the memories. We'd LOVE to have you back.
It's okay about the microphones, though. We can pretty much imagine what they talked about. I can even hear it in my mind:
That explains the fresh smell in the air today!
Think Progress:
Yesterday, Palin’s federally assisted vacation-mobile ran over Mitt Romney’s presidential announcement and stopped in Boston, MA where she toured the sites along Freedom Trail. Seemingly moved by the historic importance of Boston, Palin decided to recognize the city’s own Paul Revere and his famous “Midnight Ride” in which he hung two lanterns and rode to Lexington to warn Patriot leaders that the British army was arriving “by sea.” Palin, however, offered her own take on the revolutionary tale:
PALIN: He who warned, uh, the British that they weren’t going to be taking away our arms uh by ringing those bells and making sure as he’s riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be secure and we were going to be free and we were going to be armed.
As Mediaite’s Frances Martel notes, Palin’s version “wasn’t exactly the official History Channel rendition.” It’s hard to imagine why Revere would warn the British of anything, or why he’d do it with bells and gun shots.
Of course, a quick survey of those toying with the GOP presidential field reveals that basic American history is not their strong suit. Tim Pawlenty confused the Iraq war with an Iran war, Hermain Cain confused the Constitution with the Declaration of Independence, and Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) confused Massachusetts with New Hampshire. Bachmann’s particular struggles even earned her a debate invitation with a 10th grader.
But all these candidates would pale in comparison to this figurehead of flubs if Palin pulls the trigger on a presidential run.

Upon General Howe's arrival to New York in 1776, a loyalist wrote this about him:
"He comes, he comes, the Hero comes,
Sound, sound your trumpets, beat your drums.
From port to port let cannon roar
Howe's welcome to this Western shore."
Pat - like the way you highlight the "uh" and other speech issues.
I was watching Sharpton last night on Schultz's show.
Do I really need to say anything more. I didn't think so. :)
Spanky, I like Rev. Sharpton. A lot.
Anyway, nice talkin' to you on this beautiful Friday. Hope things are going well in your state.
Take care.
No surprise - he's no white.
Care to count the times he uses the filler "um?" How about his proclivity to flatly misuse "big" words.
Poor Pat. Maybe next week will be better for you.
" How about his proclivity to flatly misuse "big" words."
I tuned in late. I thought he was doing George Bush imitations. He wasn't??
Golly DBO - your relevance meter appears to be mighty off today.
Keep running up that hill buddy, you'll get there someday.
Getting there is half the fun, Spank- I don't want to get up that hill TOO soon!
...'MILF'....now THAT's funny, right there....
Spanky-
"Golly DBO - your relevance meter appears to be mighty off today."
Yes, it is. See, I couldn't find anything cute to say about Hillary's breasts on a Palin post.
I believe I have Won................
Where does the White Trash Mama bus head next?
Why would you possibly care?
Come on, say it - you cannot get enough Palin. It really is obvious, just look at your post.
I'll say it. "I cannot get enough of those 'fried-egg-on-a-nail' breasts of hers! Whooo Hooo!
Hey, baby- where's my soup?
Zing.
Now let me do my DBO impression and throw out something totally unrelated.
But, what about Hillary's breasts?
See Dbo, just silly. And really, are you now going to pretend that you would not tap that? Cause we can go back about 6 months ago to your posts. Remember?
No, I don't. And neither do you. I wouldn't touch her with your stuff, OR Mr Weiner's. What else y' got, Mr 'T & A'?
('T & A'....now THAT's funny, right there.....)
As Spanky points out, libs head explode when thinking about Palin, they cant help but comment on her. With a total lack of wit or humor.
Too bad the last truly witty line about Palin, came on SNL in 2008: "I can see Russia from my house!" That was funny.
Since then libs rant at the level of middle school kids insulting each other. Pathetic.
We learnet it from the folks that brought us 'Obummer' and 'Odumbo' and all that, Bob. You know- at the middle school message boards.
The Palin item in First Read fits the time-slot and temperament of most of the Friday p.m. posters--too bad a real news item could not have intervened.
Palin's not running this time around--she too will wait for 2016 since she really does expect President Obama to win (and she could not stand the indignity of going down in history as having lost to his ticket twice.)
And will lose again because lessons was not learned from the first defeat, and that is "stupid is, as stupid does; quote by Forest Gump
As long as Palin is on the Faux News payroll, she is not running.
If Faux News dumps her, or she resigns from Faux News, then we'll know she's running for some office. Until then, it's all for show and bucks (for Palin).
...Obama has nothing to worry about for 2012 as long as there is enough Kool-aid left, and by the looks of it there is plenty left. The country has evolved into a two class state: the entitlement class, and the rest. As long as the entitlement class garners over 50% of the vote, and maintains a front-and-center nostalgia in perpetuity of how "bad" things were under Bush - and that there is/was absolutely no other option, they will forever be in power, and from the looks of it, that class is growing ...because that is how America rolls....
Massachusetts Register of Deeds John O'Brien and Forensic Mortgage Fraud Examiner Marie McDonnell find former Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin is victim of potential mortgage fraud; expert says chain of title to new Arizona home clouded by robo-signers.
In what is an ironic twist of fate today Register of Deeds John O'Brien and nationally renowned mortgage fraud examiner Marie McDonnell, President of McDonnell Property Analytics, Inc., announce that former Alaska Governor and Vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin is an unwitting victim of mortgage fraud and has purchased a home in Arizona that contains flaws in the chain of title.
