It was rumored that this was to be a 'sparkling' week for the Teapublicans. However, when all was said and done, the 'fireworks' came off with nothing more than a 'fizzle'!

Teapublicans are now on record as enthusiastic when it comes to; decimating Medicare & Medicaid along with women's healthcare & reproductive rights!

After all the histrionics from the tea baggers, the Government didn't shut down!

Debbie Wasserman-Shultz has proven she has the testicular fortitude to lead the DNC to victory is 2012!

Birther/Bircher-Mania is alive & kicking, the crazies continue to crawl out of the wood work!

President Obama has proven he undeniably is willing to fight the RIGHT battles!

Mr. Bad Comb Over & Mr. Game Show Host aka (Wink Martindale ;o) are contemplating a run @ the WH! And, it's expected that Boss Hog will toss his hat into the ring in the not too distant future! Good LUCK with THAT band of merry misfits! Lol

Is it any wonder the baggers are as cranky & sulky as they are today?

Many thanks to our congenial hosts/moderators for all your hard work keeping FR the best place on the web to play 'Whack a Troll'!

I've said it before; there is NO better or cheaper form of therapy out there! ;o)

Hope to see ya all over @ the Dew Drop Inn tonight! Wind is a howling here, so a roaring fire would be a nice touch! *hint to IR*

One things for certain, the beer will be COLD and the chili will be HOT this evening!

I don't know if you heard me b!tching a couple of weeks ago about supporting only local candidates because Tim Kaine at the DNC was a ginormous crapfest. At any rate, thanks to this appointment - I will begin contributing to the DNC again.

I say we throw back some cold ones and toast the Tax Man! Hopefully Steeler Fan can bring her MM with her and take a much deserved break!

Buzz, I've been craving some 70's on the juke box, how about some Eagle's - in honor of Paul Ryan's budget, "Lyin' Eyes"?

And yes, a generous shout out to the best News Site on the web and our hosts who tolerate a lot from us!

PS. I still love the slick procedural move that left the Repubs shouting and panicking! hee hee

PSS. I also want to say thanks to ALL who contributed to cleaning up a large percentage of the graffitti that had taken a nasty turn. I think we can sit out on the porch tonight thanks to the effort!

Hi, Feisty: Was out and about today, but had to catch up with the goings on at FR. What oh what have we learned this week? Someone probably better alert the "teabaggers" remember that group out having a collective tantrum about Health Care Reform? They were the ones carrying signs saying "keep your hands off my Social Security and Medicare"? Guess what folks, the Republicans, who hate anyone that is not them, just voted to end Medicare. Good for them! Remember what I always say, watch what they say, and expect them to go after the group that they claim they are trying to defend. Never fails. In loony land, (MN is the land of lakes and loons, and all the loons are not floating prettily on the lakes just now, they are also in the House.) Michelle Bachmann said that Planned Parenthood was the Lenscrafter of abortion. This came as a HUGE surprise to Lenscrafter, which was pretty sure that it provided vision services and couldn't figure out how on earth they got dragged into Michelle Bachmann's strange little world. I guess it was what Kyl said 'it was not factual" and by the way Kyl, when you use a number like 90%, it sounds like you are saying something that YOU believe is factual. Winter has returned to the prairie, snow, sleet and flooding here. But we are tough and like to think that it makes us strong. Thanks to our hosts for a most entertaining week on FR. You guys are the best! IR, I hope I can use the Quonset in the back of the Come Back Inn. Coming on my horse tonight...those ditches are full of water, the roads are bad...I don't want to slide off into the ditch with the car. Hope there is hay, I'll bring the grain. Feisty...I am feeling hot brandyish, cold here, could you order one for me? See you all next week.

Clara KCMO - thanks so much for posting that link about the Democrats sleight of hand - loved it! Was hoping the Republicans might try to out-do their left-of-the-aisle colleagues, but alas, no, and Ryan's politically toxic bill passed the house.

I hope Ryan basks in his win over the weekend because that's the last that bill will see light!

For a day, the opposition on this site should lower themselves to the level of the Queens of the Keyboard, and be just as irrational as them. Attack with negative statements, mistruths, and nasty dialoge just to end this stupid discussion tactics.

By the way Feisty, how is you Obama visit going? Please smile for the Secret Service camera.

newday,

Did you catch the tidbit Feisty dug up on Bachmann this week - about her 23 foster children and an estimated million dollars in support she's potentially received for them? I don't know why she couldn't just pull herself up by her bootstraps and raise those kids without the government handout!

I did Ursula: add that to the farm subsidies their family farms get...and Bachmann may want to consider that "socialism" is not a word that she wants to throw around! I still can't figure out who votes for her in that district. Maybe that is where all the right wing nuts collect in MN?

Good evening all and especially you Fiesty. I appreciate the outreach on the home front but being a bit of a technophob, I am not on those new fangled landing pages like Facebook and Twitter. I really do enjoy the comraderie and support I read here nearly everyday and, though new at posting, I am finding my voice.

I got nailed by the moderators only once so far. Today when I tried to scream (CAPS) at the Spankster. She/he is a piece of work.

Thanks to the moderators for keeping the peace & FR for putting up some good items for debate. You guys may not realize it but when we who live in RED states feel silenced this is a great place to come to get recharged. Standing up and speaking out is empowering so thanks for the outlet.

It was passion that helped us elect Obama to bring back hope. It will be passion that helps re-elect sanity in DC (OBAMA/Democrats) until the America we all know and love is rekindled inclusively forever. They will never give up but they will shoot themselves in the foot or hang themselves given enough rope. We will never give up either and when America wins freedom from the lies they are telling we will all be WINNERS! (Pray, or at least chant, for the day!) Except for maybe poor Charlie Sheen, the goddesses and Spanky.

Thanks to our fine FR hosts for a fun week; you probably get to go home early tonight--no potential government shut down.

Have a nice weekend everyone. It's time for Friday night fun, a little music, some beverages and a toast to the President's speech--nothing better than pointing out the "real" Ryan plan for what it is.

Well, Clara, I have to work this weekend on those last-minute returns but I think it would improve my attitude considerably if I kicked back tonight at the Dew Drop Inn with friends and you all could tell me what happened this week while I was crunching numbers! I'm sad that I may have missed a procedural move. Maybe we'll play "Taxman" by the Beatles on the song machine!

Thanks to Mark, Domenico and all for another great week and for all your hard work. If any of you need extensions, let me know!

Well Howdy there Missy. I was at a pretty important client lunch this afternoon so must have missed you "scream[ing]" at me. Although since I wasn't around I do question why you would be screaming at me. But then again you went on a cute little rant yesterday, I responded, but then you ran away.

So what do you have for my on this very fine day Missy? And please do hurry if you have an intent to respond - it is Friday and Happy Hour is a' calling. If you are not inclind it's ok there is always next week. :)

Oh and be a dear and give a bit of background so I can appropriately respond. Like what college and or post graduate degrees do you have? What do you do for employment? Have you ever been self employed, employed others, or had to make a payroll?

Missy, have you ever read the IRC [Internal Revenue Code], run income through a schedule C, or ever depreciated any assets for tax purposes? Have you ever managed anyone, been a supervisor, or had to deal with regulations concerning the operation or taxation of a business?

Were you effected by Obama's tax cuts for the wealthy, and would you be effected if the cap was raised on social security taxes?

And for fun, yesterday, before you ran off you stated that I was a bad person [and I am a man for your information, although don't tell Drive By cause he likes to call me either a girl or accuse me of being gay] for calling people names. But I'd like to know if 1. you are aware Feisty has been know to throw a name around or two, and 2. if you are aware, why you think it's ok for her, and others, but not me, to do so.

So lay it on me Missy, my girl, and I sure hope you are wearing you cow girl boots and spurs.

And golly the only other person I've ever seen "run afoul" of the moderators is Feisty. I can only imagine what one would have to do to have an issue.

So many questions Spankmeister. So many Lies.

Correction...that was today I posted and you show yourself to be an arrogant bully incessantly. You wouldn't have seen the scream since I 'fixed' it before posting. Disrespect is often incurred when you use a demeaning word or tone to accuse someone of doing something they don't do. YOU DO BULLY and use distraction from the topic tactics to defend your drivel. To evade answering any logical debate with comparable logic you pepper anyone (shotgun style) who will pay you any mind with a barrage of irrelevamt questions thinking you will discombobulate them enough to 'win' the argument.

Loser. I don't care how many payrolls you make, times you read the IRC code, or how many Schedule C's you've filled out, your a cad. America is kinder, gentler than you think. America has a heart. We aren't stupid enough to fall for the tricks of ILK like you any more. Your gig is up just like W's was at the end of his reign. Obama will go down in history as the salvation of this country and GOD BLESS HIM FOR IT.

Now Spanky, YOU got anything but bravado and barrage?

Missy, welcome aboard!

As for the spankster and running away - every time I've called him on his paralegal 'degree' he's turned tail and run. It's like he knows I'm right or something.

Really - for a supposed JURIS DOCTORATE education, he uses some of the worst spelling and grammar of any of the bullies out here.

just sayin'. PS. did you notice how he wants you dressed for his enjoyment, too? Can you say misogynistist?

Ok, and wow Missy that was sad, but expected, and very disappointing. I do have to ask: do you "incur" a lot of disrespect? But yeah, I can see how someone like yourself could get easily, and let me use your precise word here, "discombobulate[d]."

Funny, you keep talking about lies, yet fail to cite any specifics. So I'll give you one more chance - please set forth one lie I have told.

You know dear, just because you don't like something doesn't make it wrong.

But yes, and certainly "god bless" Obama. But allow me to play a little Anna Molley: Which and who's god will be doing the blessing Missy?

Anywho, thanks for the giggles Missy, I look forward to discombobulating you with my loser, caddish ilk next week. Oh and please try to let this little exchange go and have a good weekend. Don't let mean old irksome Spanky keep you up at night. I just get a sad feeling that someone like you might take this silly stuff kinda personally. I do hope I am wrong.

And Feisty I am still waiting for your response - how did you get kicked off and deleted so many times?

I googled Spanky Attorney at Law and this is what I came up with:

Everyone knows about the Addams family, even if they’ve never watched it. You didn’t even know he was a lawyer, did you? I can see why.

But, he is a lawyer. He was voted by his law school class “Least Likely to Pass the Bar.” Somehow he did pass the bar, and in a few episodes of the show, he proves it by going to court and completely failing to be any kind of competent counselor. He seems to take a perverse pride in losing cases, bragging to people about how many criminals he’s put away – as their defense attorney. In one episode, he refused to let his client be sworn in, informing the judge that the whole truth would “cramp her style.” He defeated a lawsuit by paying off the other side. He was once thrown off a case by the judge, only to bring in his wife to represent his client instead, whispering instructions in her ear. Plus, the man blows up model trains as a hobby. There are clearly a few screws loose.

Serious? Taking you seriously? naw. I like to giggle and sleep well Mr. Man. My your hope of being wrong be fulfilled. You know what lies you've told, I need not repeat them here.

As for God, my personal relationship with my higher power is none of your business but it is firm and filled with JOY in His goodness. I do not judge anyone else on their beliefs by questioning how or who they worship but I put my faith in the one true God who IS LOVE. He's got a big hug for you too Spanky. He might even be able to soften that hard, cold, cynical heart of yours.

I think the dems did pretty good this week, Obama`s speech was excelent, Walker walks into a fire storm(yes) And Ryan was put down. We have a long road ahead of us, keeping these monsters at bay, but I think we will be successful.

To Missy

I agree with you, Spanky is a pain in the a&& he is combative AND RUDE, and I have a hard time believing he is a lawyer.

To Spanky,

Why does it matter, all those questions you ask what do they have to do with anything? It`s just your way of intimidating people from posting here.

Well hello ladies. Just back from a very nice happy hour and man, you all are just precious.

Ah, Feisty, it appears that you do not understand the difference between civil and criminal law. But, hey, obviously details are not your thing. Nor apparently is your self professed attempt to ignore me. I got you old gal. I feel the love. And I know you just can't help yourself.

Missy, thanks for the god stuff, but not my bag dear. And again just be honest and admit that you cannot cite any lies I have told. Like I keep telling you all -silly conclusive statements are worthless. But I suspect you already know that. SO how about this - next week I want you to be my personal lie meter. Every time I lie or discombobulate someone you speak up. Use your big girl voice. Then I can respond to it right away, and not your silly, baseless conclusions and accusations, Deal?

And my dear Barb.- the fact you don't get why those questions mean something tells us all a whole lot about you. Kinda sad, but totally not a surprise really. ANd dear - hard to believe I'm a lawyer? Huh, yet I bet you totally believe Anna Molley is one, right? Now just why is that you suppose?

And intimidation? That'd be a reflection on you and your own self worth, not me or the questions, but I suspect that too is lost on you. Again, sad, but then again I suspect Feisty, Barb and Missy are all 60 plus, which is definately a different generation and mindset. Am I right?

And in sum for you all - ignorance is bliss and you all particularly wear it well.

See you all back here - same bat time, same bat channel.

Fiesty why won't you tell us how you got deleted and banned? What's the matter embarrassed? You? COme on, show us the "feisty!"

It was a great week for America. I'd love to say all the credit goes to our liberal representatives and other thinkers, but a big chunk of the credit has to go to the Radical Right making it clear who they REALLY are.

Scott Walker got roasted in Congress and was forced to admit his attack on worker rights had no impact on the budget. Donald Trump continues to keep the Birtherism that's so poisonous to the Republican Party in the spotlight. The story of how Conservatives seek to destroy all of our livelihoods and accelerate the impoverishment of the middle class continues to gain traction. http://www.economist.com/blogs/freeexchange/2011/03/monetary_policy_7

Then Republicans revealed their plan to save our village by destroying it. The Ryan budget would completely destroy the social safety net, using fear to try to induce people to eliminate the programs that allow all of us to survive tough times and be assured of some level of security in our old age, replacing it with window dressing that only promises to do the same things. http://www.thenation.com/article/159769/paul-ryans-plan-destroy-medicare

At least our future will be secure if we go with the Republican budget, right? Not so, as the plan would give massive tax breaks to the wealthy, giving away much of the savings that have been taken from the hides of average Americans. http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/blogs/taibblog/tax-cuts-for-the-rich-on-the-backs-of-the-middle-class-or-paul-ryan-has-balls-20110407

The Ryan/Republican budget consists almost entirely of smoke and mirrors and would actually INCREASE deficits. The whole thing is nothing but a massive lie. http://econintersect.com/b2evolution/blog1.php/2011/04/07/cbo-ryan-budget-increases-deficit-for-ten-years-and-costs-for-poor-elderly

Then came vision from the Democrats. President Obama made it clear that he values the America we ARE and HAVE BEEN, not the new American aristocracy the wealthy elites would like to establish. http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2011/04/obama-makes-it-clear-no-bush-tax-cuts-no-to-ryans-budget-plan/237280/ With Debbie Wasserman Schultz as the new DNC Chair it's hard to imagine a better team on the case for the American people.

A good week indeed.

Much blathering and shouting in the echo chambers from the left. Of course there is the usual rudeness from the left.

A good week for the left? Not hardly.

Justice Prosser was confirmed as the winner in Wisconsin which put another nail in public sector union parasites' coffins and shoved it closer to the hole.

Conservatives have cleared a major hurdle. The tax-and-spend crowd (both Dem and Rep) are discussing cutting spending in a serious way. Something that has not happened in more than a decade.

Obama's speech was an insult to most Americans. Hardly Presidential, it reeked division and class warfare at a time when we need a leader who unifies and inspires. He further added to his historically low approval numbers with the "open mike" fiasco. He then leaked a personal letter from Ambassador Huntsman in a pathetic attempt to bolster his number in the polls. While we're on this subject, every week it is revealed how this administration manipulates numbers in an attempt to paint a rosy picture of the economy. Unemployment, inflation, entitlements, all under reported lies with manipulated numbers.

The left become more inconsequential each day. Most Americans know they did nothing since 2006 but blame everyone else for their ineffectiveness. What they did do was increase spending and add 4 trillion dollars to the debt with nothing to show for it. America noticed.

Isn't it a tad bit early to be hitting the hator-aide this morning?

Did you really make a comment about blathering & rudeness and then follow up in your first paragraph with this?

put another nail in public sector union parasites' coffins and shoved it closer to the hole.

It might not be a bad idea to take a good long look in the mirror before you start 'blathering'!

Keep on dreaming that the left is growing 'more' inconsequential - apparently it brings you some much needed comfort! ;o)

We'll see how well THAT works out for you in 2012!

You realize that the Teapublicans vote to decimate MediCare & MedCaide is going to send seniors to the polls to vote (R) again - right? lol

And Doug - you're a liar to boot!

Justice Prosser was confirmed as the winner in Wisconsin which put another nail in public sector union parasites' coffins and shoved it closer to the hole.

County tallies finalized Friday showed Justice David Prosser defeated little-known challenger JoAnne Kloppenburg by 7,316 votes. State election officials said they will wait to declare an official winner until the deadline for Kloppenburg to seek a recount passes. She has until Wednesday to call for one.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/04/15/david-prosser-joanne-kloppenburg_n_849863.html

You might want to look up the definition of the word 'projected'...

See what I mean about the echo chamber?

You've got no info except the talking points the talking heads from the left give you.

With Prosser's successful re-election it is another nail in the public sector parasites' coffin. Their appeals have no chance of going anywhere.

Then you babble on about "Teapublicans" decimating "medicare and medicaid".....too uninformed to even realize that is just another left wing lie.

And you want to contribute to Trump/Palin 2012? Two who won't even be on the ticket?

You are a perfect example of why the left are more inconsequential everyday. They have no substance or sense.

    #1.32 - Sun Apr 17, 2011 9:44 AM EDT

    Liar? You're an uninformed idiot.

Yes, she can have a recount but she will have to pay for it because the threshold is greater than an automatic recount.

      hahahahahahahaha

      So predictable. ECHO...echo....echo....echo....echo.....

        Liar? You're an uninformed idiot.

Easy there Doug - hator-aide & high blood pressure is a toxic mix!

Nice attempt at back-peddling my friend! It was YOU who wrote:

Justice Prosser was confirmed as the winner in Wisconsin which put another nail in public sector union parasites' coffins and shoved it closer to the hole.

Notice it was YOU who used the word confirmed?

Where I responded that he was the PROJECTED winner?

So yeah crab walk your comments back all you want - bottom line is you LIED!

As for recounts, America is all to familiar with the Republicans tectics of stealing elections...

Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus says errors in tabulating votes in elections are common

It's a safe bet no election clerk in Wisconsin history ever invited more questions about a vote count than Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus did on April 7, 2011.

With a possible statewide recount hanging in the balance, why did Nickolaus wait more than a day to report an error that had helped give the appearance of a narrow JoAnne Kloppenburg victory in the state Supreme Court race? How could she have left an entire city, Brookfield, out of the countywide vote tabulation she released to the media?

The mistake had the effect of masking a statewide lead of about 7,500 votes by Justice David Prosser in the ultra-close contest, if the now-revised totals are correct. (A statewide canvass completed April 15 gave Prosser a 7,316-vote margin of victory.)

State election officials are still investigating what happened, so questions remain about what led to the screw-up.

One statement Nickolaus, a Republican elected to the post in November 2002, made at her news conference got our attention.

"It is important to stress that this is not a case of extra votes or extra ballots being found," she said. "This is human error -- which I apologize for -- which is common in this process, which is why the state requires us to conduct a canvass."

        http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CB0QqQIwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.politifact.com%2Fwisconsin%2Fstatements%2F2011%2Fapr%2F17%2Fkathy-nickolaus%2Fwaukesha-county-clerk-kathy-nickolaus-says-errors-%2F&ei=xPGqTfK9IcSZ0QHYyoH6CA&usg=AFQjCNHxTMq6F8KIxMZkEYryLEwM7Ogq5Q

Notice that Politifact gave her 'explantion' a barely true rating?

Why don't YOU try a source - PERIOD?

        One more thing:

Nickolaus came into the spotlight last Thursday after she announced in a news conference that on election night she had failed to save on her computer more than 14,000 votes reported from the City of Brookfield, and as a result, issued an unofficial summary report to the media that was wrong.

        SOURCE: Milwaukee, WI Journal Sentinal

And Doug - you're a liar to boot

Seems like your the one thriving on hate.

I will admit I erred on Ms. Kloppenberg having to pay for the recount. I missed the news on the 15th stating she missed having to pay by .488 of a percent.

Too bad for the tax payers of Wisconsin since they'll have to pay just to confirm that she lost (again). But keep clinging for hope or some real voter fraud from the left.

Why is it that the left screams voter fraud when things don't go their way?

          you're not your.

            #1.38 - Sun Apr 17, 2011 10:23 AM EDT

            But WAIT there's MORE:

          • Prosser is Nickolaus’ Former Boss: Throughout the 1990s, Nickolaus worked for the Wisconsin State Assembly’s Republican Caucus. For much of that time, Justice Prosser was the GOP Minority Leader and then the Speaker of the Assembly. So Prosser was Nickolaus’ boss.

          • Nickolaus Received Immunity For Testimony On A Campaign Scandal: In 2001, the partisan caucuses in the state legislature were investigated for alleged illegal use of state resources to secretly run campaigns. Nickolaus received immunity in return for her testimony about her role in this scandal.

          • Nickolaus Has Blown Vote Counts In The Past: Nickolaus once posted the wrong outcome in a local school board race, before her error was caught and the correct outcome was posted.

          • Nickolaus Was Audited After She Moved Official Data To Her Personal Computers: Her county’s Executive Committee ordered an audit of her office after they discovered that she “removed the election results collection and tallying system from the county computer network . . . and installed it on standalone personal computers in her office.

            http://thinkprogress.org/2011/04/08/kathy-nickolaus-crook-or-idiot/

          • NEWSFLASH Doug! The left aren't the only ones who are concerned about voter fraud. The Indy's don't think too highly of it either! ;o)
          • you're not your.

            Simply correcting myself fisty.

Thinkprogress? You cite liars as your source and you expect to be taken seriously?

Instead of spreading your bs to someone who thinks little of your left wing spoon fed drivel; let's wait until Wednesday to see if Ms. Kloppenberg even requests a recount. There seems to much bellowing from the left over nothing concerning this matter.

              Instead of spreading your bs to someone who thinks little of your left wing spoon fed drivel;

This is where you're sadly mistaken Doug - I'm NOT attempting in any way shape or form to change what' s left of your closed little mind...

Imagine for a second, someone who's reading this exchange, you come right out of the gate contradicting yourself, then resort to name calling and providing ZERO facts to back up your BS!

I on the other hand, have provided 3 different sources to back up my argument and the BEST you can come up with is calling sources 'liars'! lol

Who comes across with the crediblity my friend?

So in closing, I look foward to debating you many many times in the near future, you're one PRIME example of everything that's wrong with conservatives!

And, you provide a wonderful opportunity to make that point! Thank you SO much!

And 'fisty'? LOL Aww come on Dougie, that hurt my feelings! NOT! ;op

You have provided three different sources of pure left wing speculation which is designed to stir up the feeble minded. Do you deny all three of your sources are not left wing? That fact alone throws your "credibility" into the toilet. Anyone can operate in an echo chamber feisty. That was one of my points. As demonstrated in the past, voter fraud allegations rarely pan out. She was audited. No indication except wild speculation that there is any reason to assume fraud. I will say there may have been a little of the "rub it in your face" mentality going on as to the timing. As I said, I'll wait and see if Ms. Kloppenberg deems a recount necessary. I'm sure her staff will do a thorough job of looking into it.

I did not contradict myself. It had been reported Ms. Kloppenberg would have to pay for the recount herself. I missed the news on Friday stating she just made it by half a percentage point. I admitted my error.

Apologies for the fisty. Not done purposely.

                Feisty,

It appears the only thing Doug is pondering is his navel and maybe Rush Limbaugh's FAN page.

LOL,...what a classic exchange. Don't forget what Dennis or John B always says,...never get in a fight with the ignorant. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Or, in this case,...you mop the floor with 'em and they still claim victory. Ever so priceless. Thanks!

                www.cnn.com/2011/OPINION/04/15/avlon.kyl.truth/?hpt=Sbin

After Senator Jon Kyl's office told us that the Senator's statement about Planned Parenthood on the Senate floor was "not intended to be a factual statement", Stephen Colbert has gone on the offensive. Tweeting using the hashtag "#NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement", Colbert has stated the following:

                • Jon Kyl developed his own line of hair care products just so he could test them on bunnies.

                • Jon Kyl can unhinge his jaw like a python to swallow small rodents whole.

                • Every Halloween Jon Kyl dresses up as a sexy Mitch Daniels.

                • Jon Kyl sponsored S.410, which would ban happiness.

                • Jon Kyl let a game-winning ground ball roll through his legs in Game 6 of the '86 World Series.

                • Jon Kyl once ate a badger he hit with his car.

It is totally apparent that the ultra-conservatives, the Special Interests, the very wealthy, the influential and the powerful few are aggressively taking their positions against Obama. They are making extreme efforts, including putting a great deal of pressure on the representatives they strongly support, and committing an abundance of capital to defeat him. What they seek is to instal another “puppet”, like GW Bush, whose “strings they will pull” again. Anyone would be totally naive and completely gullible not to understand that what they are doing is strictly in their own limited interests. Like with the manipulation of the Christian block, the Swift-boat propaganda and now with the Tea Party movement they seek to once again use their power, influence and money to buy, con and manipulate just to achieve their ends.

This country has some very severe problems and challenges and if these people should succeed in preventing addressing those problems, by having the continuation of the status quo that so completely favors them, then we will literally be destined to “more of the same” that has cost us so much. Their creative appeals to fears, self-interests, scare tactics, emotional biases and prejudices are all intended to excite people and to manipulate and control public opinion. The bazaar antics and extremes to which they go clearly demonstrate just how desperate and irresponsible they are. When the facts and the truth are clearly seen, when their emotionally charged propaganda is put aside, when the results of their efforts, always to benefit the few and costing everyone else, are recognized, then the unconscionable, self-serving deception becomes completely apparent.

Should the people fail to be objective, rational and emotionally mature and fail to recognize the deception, then we are likely to see the few have their way again and the majority, including the total middle-class, just continue to loose. People can allow the manipulation, continue to be emotional and fault the wrong causes, continue accepting the empty rationalizations supporting biased preferences and then suffer with the problems only becoming worse, the deception continuing and once again with the subterfuge faulting the wrong people as the few continue to gain greatly and everyone else is wondering how things got worse. It really isn’t intellectually challenging but it is not easy either. It is up to the people to totally put their biases, prejudices and emotional attachments aside so that they can’t be so easily conned and manipulated against their own best interests. It is not easy but it is critical in order to avoid self-supported abuse.

The Fed's decided today to expand its holdings of securities and started printing $75 billion a month, out of thin air, to finance more than half of the U.S. budget. QE2 is scheduled to end in June, but many predict it will be immediately followed by some sort of QE3.

Inflation is here, so how will this effect the election in 2012? Why don't they use food and utilities in the inflation rate?

Last night interview Obama -“Now, one good thing that we did was in December, an example of compromise that a lot of people didn’t think was going to be possible, with Republicans — we were able to pass a package of tax cuts that has helped to buffer some of that strain on families. So the total amount of tax cuts that we passed to boost the economy this year will probably be higher than the additional gas costs,” (good)

                  What tax cut?

These same unchanged tax are now (bad)? Wednesday, Obama blasted those same Tax Rates as hurtful/wrong.

Now on Thursday, he seemed to again praise extending the Bush unchanged tax rates stating that it would help pay for the rising costs of gas? (good)

                  What tax cut?

Yea it sound like we are on the right road, or maybe not. Hell I dont know.

Well, that strategy, ( raising taxes on one group while keeping them lower- and giving away other people's money- for the rest), was not quite the winner Obama and the democrats thought it was last fall. It was nice of Obama to hand the issue to the republicans for 2012. Somehow, I do not think it was generosity on his part, but another example of his total inability to admit he is wrong.

Since it is the weekend, and imaginary drinks cannot possibly be bad for your health, I have no problem posting this:

                  http://www.gallup.com/poll/147140/Obama-Job-Approval-Tying-Low.aspx

Ipsos Reuters has Obama's approval with independents at 37%, Gallup at 35%. Nobody gets elected with numbers like that.

Now that I ruined the weekend for all the liberals, I have a question for the writers of this blog:

How about an article on Donald Trump that outlines his political giving, and most admired politicians. I will give you a start- his political contributions can be found on Open Secrets' website- and his definition of a "great leader" was the speaker of the House. Not, however, John Boehner. The former Speaker. The female one.

So, think maybe his "birther" candidacy is more along the lines of a dirty trick?

Today (4/17/2011) the daily Gallup Poll has our President at 44% and the weekly rating is at 45%.

                    http://www.gallup.com/Home.aspx

At this same time and with similar circumstances President Reagan was at 42%.

                    http://www.gallup.com/poll/116479/Barack-Obama-Presidential-Job-Approval.aspx

And what is even more unbelievable for most Conservatives especially the Tea Party members is that in most polls our President leads all probable candidates including a generic Republican by more than the margin of error.

Paul Ryan is a "Hypocrite", he voted for 2 wars that was not paid for, he voted for the Bush tax cut that was not paid for, and he voted for the Bush prescription drug plan that was not paid for. So, how can he talk about being fiscally responsible if he was also the cause of the mess we're in?

2008 Media didn't touch Obama, 2012 - they will no longer have that luxury. Donald Trump will make sure of this. Did anyone watch the interview with Hannity?

I like Palin. She tells it as it is, which is a treat amongst all the lying clap-trap from the leftist loons. However, she has been so maligned, castigated, and denigrated by the loons, that she will have a difficult time to be heard over their malevolent shrieks. Of course, since Donald Trump is rising in the polls, the loons have perchance found a new target, eh? But not to worry, anyone running against Obama will be getting "the treatment" by the leftists. What a hoot! Hold on to you hats, folks, this is just a preview of attractions yet to come as Obama is gearing up for the greatest assault on the GOP ever heard of. After all, he is totally desperate to win a second term. My bet it that he will lose the 2012 election via a major second "shellacking". I can hardly wait. To see Obama kicked out of the White House will be a greater treat than when Clinton was impeached.

                              Forget the Birther Law:

The Arizona legislature has approved a bill that would require President Barack Obama and other presidential candidates to prove they are American citizens, born in the United States, before their names could be placed on a state ballot.

They should pass a law requiring all political candidates to pass an IQ Test!

JC-333: Dumbest group you've ever seen, huh? Let's see, Trump is a self-made billionaire, Huckabee is a former Governor of Arkansas, has his own TV show, former presidential candidate, written several best sellers, and Palin, that much hated by the leftist loons, Palin, she is a former beauty queen, a former mayor of Wasilla, a former governor of Alaska, a former Vice Presidential candidate for the US, a best-selling author, commands $100,000+ for a 45 minute speech, and the list goes on. If these attributes are signs of the "dumbest group", as you claim, I'll hop of their bandwagon to get a piece of the action myself :)!

Let's see, Trump is basing his whole campaign on claiming the President of the United States isn't actually a citizen, Huckabee has made the same blatant lie, and Palin's been caught writing notes on the palm of her hand. And other lies or stupid comments by any of the three are a short Google search away.

Personally I believe that Obama was born in Hawaii, but nevertheless his birth certificate has not been made public. His Certificate of Live Birth has been made public, but not his birth certificate. These are two different and separate documents. That's why people have doubts about his place of birth. He should publish his birth certificate and all speculation would hopefully be put to rest.

"his certificate of live birth has been made public, but not his birth certificate". What in the name of all that's holy do you think that a certificate of live birth is? That is what you use to get your passport, that is what serves as proof that you are a citizen. The phrase "birth certificate" is common usage. Would you people TRY to LEARN something? Only in the "teabaggery" paranoid world does this belief exist, once again proving that the "teabaggers" are not terribly bright.

What I meant was that by providing more information than is required by law can set a president that could be expected by all that follow - people in leadership positions are smart enough to not do that.

If you want someone to provide more information you should make an effort to change the law.

Don't think for one second the tea party will give a rat's if you do take your shotgun away from the front door, shoo the dogs off the front porch, kick those beer cans and scatter em all over the floor, or bang on the 15in tv to get a picture, while you watch in your drunken stupor and praise Palin for being such a sexy thing for President. Remember you are definitely in the lower lower end of the poorest 98% and if the Republicans get their way it matters not if you have to give up the good life and move into a 1 man tent out back by the distiller. That is not the only source- go to Open Secrets for more information.

Be nice if the media paid attention. I suspect that, since this helps Obama, they will scrutinize this as well as they scrutinized Obama's campaign contributions in 2008. You remember- he was elected by the " little people", contributing the nickels and dimes from their paper routes.

Too bad that talking point was a lie- those donations accounted for less than 25% of his contributions.

                                    Nope!

She's still picking up those 'underground radio' frequencies compliments of her fillings! lol

The next fight is gonna be a duzzi! Tea fighting the Boehners while power yelling in chorus the same mantra - "We don't like you - you make us look bad" All the while President Obama holding his own amongst the real American folk. Truthfully, I'm ashamed that America has stooped to this level. This along with the "Birther" BS continues and is completely out of place. Those who push these issues are out of touch with reality and show no character! Wake up! Y'all lost two years ago and President Obama is president and he flies in Air Force One!

The liberals are a tad feisty and touchy in this thread. Welfare checks late again? When elevating Obama to Messiah status, have you so soon forgotten the immense "shellacking" he and the Dems took in the 2010 mid-term elections. Just askin'.... I am sorry to disappoint you, but the "shellacking" will be even worse in 2012, and Obama himself will be kicked out of the White House. What a hoot!
