Berkley to make NV SEN bid

Nevada Congresswoman Shelley Berkley (D), who represents Las Vegas, will make a bid for next year's open Senate seat being vacated by Sen. John Ensign (R), First Read has confirmed.

Another member of Congress from Nevada, Dean Heller (R), has announced he's running for the seat -- though on the Republican side.

Heller's note overwhelmingly focuses on fiscal issues and he proudly touts his vote against TARP

I think it's like I said they made they move too soon. Wait a minute Thorazine slows you down.

They are just plain dumb and retarded. I really don't mean it in a derogatory way either. It's just the truth.

They make lemonade out of apples only because of their result of delayed actions!!! LOL

Hello,

Should be a close race. Internal poll by Berkley shows her leading 42-38, within margin of error. Both candidates have higher favorable than unfavorable. Heller has backing of GOP establishment, so possible TP'ers and KBAK's could run a wingnut ala Angle.

Nevada is definitely in the toss up column and we can expect to see a lot of major player visits and a ton of outside funding, both for the presidential contest and races such as this.

Thanks, Xando

Can anyone tell me how Ensign actually got re-elected after his sex scandal? Where is the far right when it comes to one of their own?

Same place the left is when it comes to one of their own. See: Rangel, Charlie.

Charlie Rangel was censured. Ensign...well he got a pass.

The correct answer to a race baiting question is: I hope I have a good relationship with all Americans

Congress and Senate should stop running for seats and just bid for them. who ever pay the most money gets the seat, period... seeing that everything American is who got the most money....Then " the Blacks" would be out completely... cause we would get them by taking all their money from them, raise taxes for " the Blacks" only, set them for with fraud, murder, you know anything that we can get a jury to convict on... Now I can sleep good tonight. I know that's what you are thinking, but you are wrong! It doen not pay to hurt people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

President Obama was elected by the people and he is for the people, history will remember him as the first Black American President like it or not. President Obama being elected to the White House gives hope to the likes of Mr Trump to run for office. Mr Trump's opinion to president Obama's birth place cannot be a doubt......maybe......or not sure, it has to be either a YES/No come out with your facts or hold your peace.
