From NBC's Pete Williams
A federal appeals court has upheld a ban on enforcing the most controversial part of Arizona's tough new immigration law.
In its opinion, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals wrote that a district court did not abuse its discretion by enjoining some sections of the law backed by Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer.
The court's full opinion can be read here.

Comments from the right wing on the EVIL 9th Circuit court in 3...2...1....
OUCH!
Certainly been an awful couple of day for conservatives, and now this! lol
Can't tell you how encouraging it is to see that contrary to what they envision - they CANNOT do as they damn well please!
There are LAWS in place that must be ADHERED to - not matter WHAT these tea baggers want to believe!
Sure the Libs want to let in all the illegal democrat voters. But even their votes won't be enough to relect Oblamer.
RIO-lover, I don't think Slick Rick Perry, Gov of Texas can be called a 'Lib"!.......Think about it!
The Texas Legislature is GOP/TP controlled,.....but, Rick says it's OK to employ 'illegals' as long as they work in the house, yard, nanny, etc! If not in those areas......well, well, that is not OK!
What say you! I say hypocrit!
chilled
Pease show me a link to a video where he said that.

I'm sure chilled has that video filed right between some videos on alien abduction and his/her prized expose "Easter Bunny: Around the world in a hop, skip and a jump".
Feisty Redhead Roselle, IL
OK Feisty ole one, what has transpired that has made ity a bad few days for conservatives? The budget was passed allowing big government to continue; Obama agreed with the Republicans again as he did when he passed his tax credit bill; the budget was reduced several billions, even if the cuts were accounting gimmicks both sides continually use; the troops were paid, and the political drama ended until the next budget talks begin.
Now here is where we need to see productive plans for our tax dollars. Hopefully the budget can be reduced dramatically, ending the reckless spending by the party who controlled the House and Senate since '06.
The American people want to see truth, and our politicians continue to treat us with lies.
Oh Feisty, how's thayt $5 gal. gas price in IL going for you? Or the ObamaWar?
Feisty - There are LAWS in place that must be ADHERED to - not matter WHAT these tea baggers want to believe!
There are laws in place - so why don't they enforce them? Don't you think something is wrong when the government post sign like this
The signs read in part:
"Danger - Public Warning
Travel not recommended
-- Active Drug and Human Smuggling Area
-- Visitors may encounter armed criminals and smuggling
vehicles traveling at high rates
-- Stay away from cash, clothing, backbacks and
abandoned vehicles
-- If you see suspicious activity, do not confront!
Move away and call 911"
Or they look the other way
San Francisco, Bologna Family, Anthony Bologna, 48, and his sons Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16, were returning from a picnic when they were gunned down on June 16, Edwin Ramos, 22, was convicted of two gang-related felonies , by the time he was 17, and now 3 charges of 1st degree murder.
He also faces various other gang-related charges including multiple murders.
Carlos Montano, an illegal alien living in Prince William County, Virginia, was arrested last week for allegedly killing Sister Denise Mosier on Sunday morning.
Montano, who has had several prior DUI arrests, is accused of driving drunk and crashing into a car in which Sister Mosier, a Catholic nun, was a passenger. Two other nuns reportedly were critically injured too.
It has been reported that Montano was arrested by ICE in 2008 but the court allowed him to be released on his own recognizance while awaiting his deportation hearing. Montano has been charged with manslaughter.
Omar Armando Loera, an alleged illegal alien from Mexico with a long criminal history in the U.S. has been charged with the brutal July, 2010 stabbing murder of 34-year-old Chere Osmanhodzic.
Police believe that Loera, who was reportedly out of prison on parole at the time of the murder, stabbed Ms. Osmanhodzic to death and then tried to cover up his crime by setting her body on fire. Prosecutors say they have DNA evidence linking Loera to the murder. Osmanhodzic was engaged to be married to her fiancé, Adam Culvey.
Prior to Osmandhodzic's murder, Loera was out on parole for armed robbery. Lorea has reportedly been previously deported twice from the U.S..
Hermilo Moralez, 19, a suspected illegal alien from Belize, has been arrested for the brutal murder of Joshua Wilkerson, 18, of Pearland, TX.
Police say Moralez has confessed to murdering Wilkerson, who reported was a friend of Moralez and gave Moralez a ride home. Police also stated that they believe Wilkerson was first murdered, then bound and moved to a field where his body was set on fire.
Brayan Rivera, 22, a suspected illegal alien is being sought by police in the vehicular manslaughter death of Joshua Keith of Norcross, GA. Police allege that Rivera was driving drunk and struck Keith's vehicle, injuring Keith's girlfriend and causing injuries to Keith that ultimately became fatal.
Rivera was injured in the crash too, and was taken to the Gwinnett Medical Center. However, Rivera left the hospital since he was not guarded or secured by local law enforcement.
Due to the Obama administration's lack of interest in securing the U.S. border, foreign criminals are easily able to reenter the U.S. and avoid capture due to lack of interior immigration enforcement--which is why the State of Arizona decided it was necessary to pass state legislation (mirroring existing federal law) to protect its citizens. The Obama administration's outrageous response is to expend scarce federal resources to sue Arizona for doing the job the Obama administration is reluctant to do for pure political reasons.
Gee thetotas, given everything you've said I'd expect you to be pleased with the fact that President Obama has provided more border patrol agents, more National Guard troops, made more arrests, and deported more illegals than his predecessor.
Say it ant so John that our President has provided more border security and law enforcement to curtail and deport illegal immigrants than any President, ever.
GOP/TP for less Boarder Security
Speaker of the House John Boehner stated that putting millions of undocumented immigrants on a path to legalization without meeting certain border security benchmarks would place “the cart before the horse.” “We spent a lot of time, effort and money getting more security on the border. But we’re nowhere close to having the kind of secure borders that Americans want,” said Boehner.
So, it comes as a surprise that Republicans are rallying behind spending cuts slashing $600 million from border security and immigration enforcement funds.
President Obama has provided more boarder security than any previous President but if these cuts are allowed to pass you will have to point at the new House and the GOP/TP for the reduced boarder security.
George W. Bush on immigration: What’s interesting about our country, if you study history, is that there are some “isms” that occasionally pop up. One is isolationism and its evil twin protectionism and its evil triplet nativism. I hope that these “isms” pass which would then allow for a more orderly look at immigration policy.
Great comment Dennis, and thanks for pointing out that the words of Conservatives in Congress don't match their deeds. Hypocrisy, thy name is Conservatism.
RIO-Lover; get a grip. Illegals don't vote.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Ninth Circuit. <3
Anna.
We understand that you love the Ninth Circuit. After all it is the Most Overturned Court in History in this country. They dont have a Great understanding of the Law. but they sure do like to rule from Emotion..
I mean Perhaps Obama can Pray about it...
LoL I mean, like, fer sure. Just before he goes to sleep and dreams of Africa.
Sheesh. ;-)
He does? Why would he dream of Africa?
I don't know, but I'm sure Steve thinks he does.
The Arizona Immigration Law was, is, and will continue to be illegal. Regardless of what the Tea Partiers want it to be.
Hello Anna Molly:
You have been a busy lady. But I don't know too many lawyers who love a circuit court.
Lordy, Ron, I REALLY love that Court. In fact, I wish I could just pack up Wisconsin and move it over there. Maybe the Midwest could trade us for Arizona and a state to be named later.
Anna Molly: You are tooooo funny.
LoL Maybe -- just don't call me Surly. ;-)
Like the Tea Party needed to be more fired up. Thanks Ninth!!
Time for another round of bombastic "legislating from the bench" claptrap from Conservatives.
Step 1 - Allow illegals to freely enter the country. Step 2 - Have the Democrats provide lavish welfare benefits to the illegals. Step 3- Make sure no ID's are required to vote.
Obama's plan for WTF (Winning The Future).
JoAnnaSmith1
Step 1 - Allow illegals to freely enter the country. Step 2 - Have the Democrats provide lavish welfare benefits to the illegals. Step 3- Make sure no ID's are required to vote.
Obama's plan for WTF (Winning The Future).
Step 1. Illegals crossing over in the country is no bifferent now than in past years, if any thing its down. deportations have increased since 2006 when Bush started his boarder fence.
step 2. Joanna what the hell are you talking about, illegals can't get any kind of welfare unless they have doctored papers, with the way IDs are made now its getting harder to do this, also the only benifets Illegal can get is emergency care, something that your buddy reagan allowed when he did immigration reform.
step 3. Joanna i don't know where you have been but for as long as i can remember you needed a picture ID to vote and I'm from the voter fraud capital of the US chicago.
Gril you have been posting all over the place today, maybe you need to take lunch break, the lack of food on your stomach is affecting your mind.
I have goan on record for a long time, my way of stopping illegals from coming here, build a 100 foot wide by 100 foot deep mote along the boarder with man eating fish, i dought if any Illegal would ever try and cross, but joanna, what about the illegals from china, Eurpoe and Russia there are just as many of them as mexicans.
Only too glad to help. I live to serve. Make mine jasmine.
Yeah, and they probably think their claptrap doesn't clink.
Feisty
"There are LAWS in place that must be ADHERED to - not matter WHAT!"
You mean like not letting people enter and live in our country illegally?
Quick question for the Ninth Circus Court of Appeals: How's California's battle against illegal immigration going? It is the model the rest of the country should be implementing.
I f the Republican governors of CA enforced the law that would surely help. Who gave millions of illegals in CA amnesty Ronald Reagan. If Arnold would have cracked down on the people who hire illegals, that would help. As long as shady business owners and private individuals hire illegals they will come - period.
Well I'm sure the backlog of laws the California Democratic legislator wanted to pass, but could not because of a certain Republican governor, to toughen laws against illegals will now be signed into law by the Democratic Governor Brown, and that any court challenges to those laws will be struck down by the Ninth when they finally get to that appeals court. We're certain to see hundreds of thousands of illegals heading south real soon now.
JoAnnaSmith1 -
AB26 would have allowed citizens to launch lawsuits against any local government that operates as a sanctuary for people who are in the country illegally. The bill also would have made it mandatory for every California employer to use E-Verify – a federal Internet-based program that allows employers to check the eligibility of employees to work in the country.
AB1018 would have required all state agencies to use a federal verification program to ensure that the person was eligible for state-funded benefits.
Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, R-Claremont, introduced the bills, which some experts said faced a hard battle in an Assembly dominated by Democrats. The bills were inspired by Arizona's recent anti-illegal immigration law SB1070.
This was last week.
Most of the Mexicans thought to be illegal in California. Well they are not! How do I say this? Lets make it easy. The vast majority of the Mexicans here are Field workers here on Visa. AKA green cards. We have the multibillion dollar Agriculture industry here. And darn, us Americans do not want to pick at 25 cents a tray for raisins. Or pick oranges almonds and all the other Fruit and vegetables our state grows.
So California is hardly a state that can be used to measure the rest of the country. When it comes to immigration policy. If we could just get our welfare entitled citizens to work the fields. Then we could stop some of those pesky migrant farm workers from making a buck.
Second it is Americans hiring the Illegals at home depots and the like. For under the table money. Catch the contractors hiring them and take away their licenses. Get them for tax evasion and file charges. Oh wait then that new roof will cost 20.000 instead of 10,000
Although the Tea party, and other extreme right groups, want to instate their xenophobic hatred as a common sense policy, and compel everybody to accept it as that, there is no justification to profile. If many people says that they are willing to accept it to unroot the illegal immigrants out of their neighborhood, they would be the first ones to scream foul if they are the subject of such injustice.
there is no legal place for legal injustice in this country. The courts have spoken.
There is no profiling in the law. It only states that a person who is stopped for a legal infraction must show ID no matter what color they are.
Javier, there is no legal place for illegals in this country.
How is producing identification after being stopped for something else (speeding, seat belt usage, loitering, jay walking, ect.) so wrong? I have to produce ID every single day in order to get on base for work, every day!
Nope, but in your world, there's no problem with people breaking the law when they enter this country illegally, and perpetuate the commission of that crime by staying here.
Many go on to commit other crimes, such as identity theft, theft, rape and murder during the continuance of their original crime.
Sure, Javier...let 'em all in! What's the worst that could happen?
You're a dumbass.
RIO, the law says IDs will be checked "if law enforcement suspects a person to be in the country illegally." Why don't you enlighten us as to what would cause an officer to "suspect a person is in the country illegally" if not skin color and/or speaking with an accent?
Further, why don't you enlighten us as to how an officer would know that a person of particular skin color and/or accent ISN'T in the country illegally. Hint; this guy http://www-news.uchicago.edu/releases/05/050408.olmos.jpg will get ID'd a lot more often than this guy. http://fromtheleft.wordpress.com/2010/04/11/mike-huckabee-compares-gay-marriage-to-drug-addiction-incest-and-polygamy/
They're both here legally, but there's only one I'd like to have speaking on my behalf. It isn't the one who has a show on Fox News.
You want to catch illegal aliens in Arizona, hire a roofing contractor they will send a whole crew.
Hey John B, how bout not speaking English? How about you just worry about Iowa and let AZ try to protect its own borders because the Federal Government is failing to do the single most important thing a government can do, defend it's borders.
John B.
It says that IDs will be checked only when the person comits an illegal act. When I get pulled over for speeding they check my ID and I am white.
I object. This is simply not true. Thanks to the generosity of wealthy "job creators" -- whose contributions are underappreciated by most liberals -- many illegal aliens have places in some of the finest kitchens, nurseries, laundry rooms, and stables in this country.
"Hey John B, how bout not speaking English?"
Come to think of it I DID go to school with a classmate who's Grandfather spoke barely a word of English.
Yeah, I suppose he should've been sent back to Germany for such a criminal act.
There are two kinds of people in our country, legal and ILLEGAL, what @!$%#ing part of that don't you people understand................ If you're here illegally you have no right to be here......................
Legal Votes and Illegal Votes.. The Democrats like the Illegal ones..
Would you like to be profiled? Maybe your answer is yes, and you would be glad to to it, but if they weren't looking for an "illegal" but a regular criminal, or somebody you wouldn't like to be, or if you were the real affected for such discrimination, then you would be the first one to call the ACLU that so many people despise (unless their rights are in jeopardy of course).
Hey Javie, lets talk about somebody driving a car with no license, no registration, doesn't speak a word of english that gets pulled over for speeding. Now what do you think law enforcement should do??????
Yeah, that's what I thought no answer....................................
jmotts, I would put them in jail until they could produce ID. I would charge them with driving without a license, insurance, no valid registration, and speeding. I would then impound the car. If this person turns out to be here illegally, I would obtain a search warrant for their house/apartment and go surprise whoever else was living there. Once their immigration status was determined, all those here legally would be let go, and all those here illegally would be deported at their expense. But that's just me.
Who would have thought the day would come when so many were eager to roll over for an authoritative voice stating "Papers, please."
I get asked for my Papers Everyday. Hell i can't Write a check or use my Credit Card without producing some form of ID...
If i get pulled over by Police i gotta show my Drivers Licence and proof of Insurance and Registration.
Nice try John B. but seems you only want Laws that pretain to Legal Citizens. or maybe you dont. do you think Police should have the Right ot ask for my Drivers Licence?
When they have to raise the debt ceiling to past 15 Trillion to support all those living off the government. Since many of the illegals are drawing from the system and not contributing, I say get rid of them if we can't make them pay their fair share. They broke the law. Picture somebody who was homeless, hungry, and tired breaking into your house. You might help them out a little, maybe give them a meal and let them rest, but would you let them stay forever? Bring their family to eat more of your food and take up more space? No John, I bet you'd be kicking them out pretty quick, or better yet, called the police as soon as you found out they broke into your house in the first place.
John B - I hope you're driving one day and some illegal who's been deported 5 time runs a red light, T-bones your car, no insurance, ect......... Oh yeah, just deal with it.
I should've thought of that. It would have neatly handled a situation that's about to go to trial here in Des Moines, in which a guy passed 2 cars in a 35mph zone, ran a stop sign, killing a mother and one son, leaving her husband alone to raise a now seriously debilitated son who survived.
Oh wait, he was born in Iowa. You'd better build a new straw man.
You're totally ignoring decades of experience and research showing that people in the country without documentation are mostly very careful to NOT get sideways with the law.

Yep, those teabaggers love the courts when they support their ideas, like the appeals judge who shot down the portion of the health care law, yeah boy, that's the beauty of american checks and balances, but when the courts touch one of their sacred cows...boy watch out...It's States Rights and secede from the union all over again...what a bunch of bozos
You're talking about people who have broken the law. They are here ILLEGALLY. WTF don't you people understand about that?????????????????????
Fortunately, the liberal ninth circuit gets overturned more than any other court in the land. What a bunch of space shots. Illegal means just what it says, and this bill in some form or another will pass. Down with the ninth circuit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anna, as everyone knows, the 9th Circuit Court (9th Circus Court), is liberal in nature, with a large number of their judgements overturned by the higher authority.
This court wastes more time and money advocating liberal causes in their chambers.
safecracker - please supply real numbers to support your claim. My quick research indicates that the 9th court has been overturned less than 5% of the time.
You are not allowed to just make up facts - only FOX NEWS does that. In the real world, there must be data to support it.
It doesn't matter what the Ninth says, this ones going to Supreme Court. Obama and company are certainly keeping the Supreme Court busy.
The question to be put before the SC will be "If the federal government won't do its job, can the states do it instead?"
At least now the Ninth can get back to doing what cases they do best, ruling on laws legalizing marijuana and allowing gay marriage.
There's absolutely no reason why this law you exist in Arizona.
Oh, yeah...it was passed because the Federal government either doesn't care or condones - most likely the latter - the wholesale invasion of the Southwest.
If you, for whatever reason, chose to cross the border illegally into Mexico, you would be put in jail and once the jail term has been served immediately deported back to your country of origin.
Now, I'm not going to stoop to the level of calling liberals stupid, weak-minded blithering idiots who care more for those who make no contribution to this society than those whose backs their "compassion" is breaking.
But those of us who are feeling the weight of these "social justice" programs need to stand up and not be bullied by the success epithets being hurled around.
Always remember - Socialism is a great system of government, until you run out of other people's money.
RicCastagna
Exactly
Ric - interesting post. You are opposed to socialism, yet you want a big government program that will require americans to prove that they are innocent of being illegal (the opposite of current USA jurisprudence concepts - before this law, we were innocent until proven otherwise).
And you rail against Social Justice, but support a large 'social justice' system that would 'hunt down brown skins'.
Do you even think about your posts, or are you just another paid poster?
It's the governments JOB to protect it'sborder. Who said anything about "Brown Skins" I don't give a @!$%# what color they our, if your in my country illegally then you have to leave. Just why can't you people get that through your thick heads????? So, if the Federal Government won't do the job then let the state do it!!!!! Or is this about potential votes?????
unobserver
There is nothing in the law that says they are going to "hunt down brown skins" as you say.
It only states that when a person of any color commits an illegal act then they must show ID. I have to carry my ID with me when I drive don't you?
Hey, interested...first off, I'm not a paid poster, and, yes...I do consider my posts carefully before pressing the "Post Comment" button, and aside from some occasional misspellings that get through, I generally review my thoughts a couple of times knowing full well there's an audience out here that's going to do everything they can to pick apart whatever I say.
It's the same thing I do, after all...it's just that the "arguments" presented from the majority of the liberal posters are just so easy to poke full of holes that there's generally no intellectual challenge in it.
Now, getting to your considered response to my post - no, I don't want a "big government" program that's going to "hunt down brown skins" - aside, where on earth your got that from my original post, I'll not even hazard a guess - I want the government to protect lawful citizens from those who choose to break the law under Section 8 of the US Constitution "To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions".
And, before you lecture me that I want people to be guilty until proven innocent - look at the liberal response to the case at Duke University and the players on the lacrosse team a few years back. The esteemed revs. Jackass and Simpleton, the biased media, and the university itself (with one of the leading law schools in the US) all deemed these guys to be guilty prior to trial. I was loudly outspoken on the presumed innocence of the defendants being rejected out of hand.
As others have stated in here prior to me, the AZ law did not allow for questioning based on skin color or other factors that you might consider "profiling". It did allow for a law enforcement officer, during the investigation of a crime, to compel the accused to produce identification. You know...like when you get pulled over for speeding - license, registration and proof of insurance, please. If you can't produce those three documents, there are appropriate penalties to be paid.
Granted, I'm white, and I have a clear command of the English American language. It may be more difficult for someone, regardless of country of origin, who has legally immigrated to this country yet faces language challenges to deal with any government official, but there has to be a way to prevent the continued invasion of this country by illegal aliens and the burdens they place on those of us who actually contribute to this society.
The solution lies in employment. If the penalty for employing an illegal was time in a maximum security prison, for the CEO not a low level supervisor, all companies would purge illegals immediately. No AZ law would be necessary.
Very true AE, the "solution" somehow NEVER focuses on drying up the employment that brings them here in the first place.
While holding employers responsible would help the situation. One thing that would help Mexico more is to stop the obscene use of illegal drugs in the U.S.A. I live in Mexico a couple of months year the people in our little town and hard-working, honest, catholic families that are just trying to raise their children and make a living.
Sure the Libs want to let in all the illegal democrat voters. But even their votes won't be enough to relect Oblamer in 2012.
As a lifelong TRUE liberal, I am completely opposed to this flood of illegal immigrants, because it is destroying the American working class. So don't blame all liberals for supporting illegal immigration.
ONLY THE TEA PARTY CAN SAVE US FROM LIBERAL PROGRESSIVES
ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION & GUEST WORKER FRAUD
In 1986 the Simpson/ Mazzoli bill gave a mass amnesty to every illegal immigrant who settled in America. The need for Guest Workers is one of the most predominant issues allied with the invasion that has taken place in the last thirty years. The Guest Worker has never been obedient with the Dept of Labor regulations since it’s been inundated with fraud. Even after the volume amnesty signed into law by President Ronald Reagan, the opportunists in businesses used their influence to crush the immigration obligations assigned to them. In other words they kept on hiring foreign nationals that was in violation of the law;, the administrations have intentionally overlooked this major problem. The 1986 amnesty allowed the rough figure of 3.5 million, scatter to the four winds leaving the designated farms deserted and the workers joining the main stream work in the cities and communities.
Even the original process was nothing more than a travesty of the "Rule of Law." The numbers of the final immigration tally that was given amnesty was around 6 million, with illegal’s coming out of the woodwork brandishing bogus pre-dated utility bills and fraudulent documents accepted by the (INS) Immigration and Naturalization service; that has become (ICE) Immigration & Customs Service on September 11, 2001. All evidence that an foreigner was in the U.S. for a certain amount of time, or performed a certain number of days of field labor, was abridged to guarantee that all persons could qualify. INS offices were told to accept little more than scribbled copies of handwritten receipts and affidavits from so-called "people" (Not family members) who could attest that the applicant lived or worked for a certain amount of time somewhere in the US. Businesses and their lawyers have colluded with in killing any oversight of the majority of Guest Worker processes that have imported less capable, less skilled into America. Annually without public knowledge at least a million and a half semi-skilled workers (six stealth amnesties) come legally to America, which is a sell out to our own people.
Document mills sprung up countrywide, offering receipts and affidavits to help demonstrate your eligibility for amnesty and eligibility for a green card; this was one of the biggest contradictions to our laws, which should never have happened, nor happen again. Farms and agriculture by law are supposed to provide for the Guest Worker and the family, but instead when sick or injured the burden falls as usual on the taxpayer. For the children of Guest Workers born in the United States they become instant citizens and the American taxpayer only has to read the Pdf file "Illegal Aliens and American Medicine." http://tinyurl.com/o6r27
Even more than Medicare for seniors, Medicaid has become a giant financial anvil around taxpayers’ necks that new citizen children of illegal parents use. Somewhere between 200.000 and 250.000 children of illegal alien parents receive citizenship annually. This is outside the fiscal nightmare of mandatory education that is cramming our classrooms of these children having no conception of English. The neglect of American students is happening nationwide, because teachers are forced to fritter more attention to their learning of non-citizen foreigners. The consequences of that are thousands more teachers must be hired, with means more taxes extracted from us all. This procedure is habitual of dumping illegal alien workers in the emergency rooms, that has become a uncontrollable expenditure, adding to the near 15 Trillion deficit and yet another burden on US taxpayers. We can alway use exceptionally talented workers, but what we don't need is the push of other governments poor and desperate who end up in our welfare lines.
Certainly not something the Liberal press will release to the public at large. Technology today has far surpassed the copy machines and document mills of the late 60's. Any new immigration amnesty which includes Senator Harry Reid's "Dream Act”, Comprehensive Immigration Reform, would be hard to control without state of the art innovations. The 20 million plus who are already illegally here would place America's future in jeopardy, because of the Liberal Democrat agenda or Republicans ravenous need for cheap labor, crushing even more the legitimate lower income US job seeker. Hundreds of thousands of American less educated manual jobs have been displaced by illegal aliens. Not racial prejudice that Liberals cry out continuously, but a genuine need for jobs for Americans born here or legitimate permanent residents. For the two principle parties it’s about votes and profits.
This is where the TEA PARTY of the American people step up to the dais, and no more Club Republican elite or Liberal Progressives using "Political Correctness" tripe to divert the laws of this country. No matter what the majority Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) says or Sen. Reid, the TEA PARTIES influence attributed to the lowering of the debt ceiling by 38 billion dollars. Not enough for sure, but better than nothing at all. Now the TEA PARTY will demand that a new mandated E-Verify becomes a main enforcement tool, followed closely by policing law 287 (g) and Secure Communities. E-Verify would used in audits to detect illegal workers, already working and those about to be hired. With extreme pressure on businesses that try to avoid the law, with chronic penalties of fines, business assets and licensing evoked and prison;
The TEA PARTY is no longer a few loosely unorganized groups as tired, Sen. Harry Reid wheezes-out, but a giant mobilized machine of propagating power. Next to keep the Republican on its tracks is the budget of 2012, beginning with cutting government agencies, stopping the shadow Liberals overspending, not retreating from re-analyzing the unfair treaties of NAFTA and CAFTA for the American consumer and above all else, to enforce all requirement of National Security. Which means the--REAL--fence to protect America from people and drug smuggling? THIS IS THE PEOPLE'S WAR, THAT WE ALL MUST DEFEND AGAINST THE GREED, CORRUPTION IN WASHINGTON AND THE ROT THAT IS DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY FROM WITHIN. Illegal Immigration effects jobs of the lowest paid, taxes, our schools, health care and growing irreversible OVERPOPULATION.
Immigration news: Rep. Ed Royce (R-Calif.) has introduced a bill that would increase border security and strengthen interior enforcement. The Keeping the Pledge on Immigration Act of 2011 (H.R.1274) requires the US Government to deploy national guard troops to the border and includes the CLEAR Act that requires cooperation between the federal government and state and local law agencies in the enforcement of immigration laws. Learn more from NUMBERSUSA. Start calling your federal and local politician to be found in the blue pages of your phone directory and demand they co-sponsor H.R.1274. Don't let illegal aliens spend your taxes anymore?
Immediate Red flag news: The 9th circuit court in the Sanctuary city of San Francisco that is hated appeals court by patriotic Americans, as its overrun by activist judges (Liberal Progressives) has blocked major sections of the strict Arizona illegal immigration law.
ATTN: Rising gas prices are not the main cause of this issue. Speculators are having a great deal to do with insidious problem. We can aid in stopping these incorrigible hikes, by cutting back usage; if not a priority DO NOT DRIVE! My relative in Los Angeles says he cannot afford the $4.11 cents at the pump, so he is joining a group of men driving to work and sharing the ride. He has joined "Netflix" for watching movies, instead of the outrageous price at the box office. There are PLENTY of immigration laws already on the books. The tough part is getting the liberal government to enforce them. If the Feds would take care of business, AZ would not have had to take matters into their own hands. Liberals will be the death of this great country, they sicken me!
Illegals can't vote and they don't. Also, the President win re-election in 2012, because no Republicans -Tea Baggers are strong enough to beat him.
Illegals can't obtain a driver's license yet many have a driver's license.
Illegals can't obtain a Social Security Number yet many of them produce (someone else's) valid Social Security Number in order to obtain employment. (although I applaud their desire to work, the wages get tacked on to the "real" holder of the SSN, so now a law-abiding citizen has to spend time/money unraveling that mess).
You still think illegals don't vote? Is your head buried in the sand, or up Obama's arse?
Well RicC, Jobs1 is a big union fan, so his head is residing in the Obama posterior. Criminal aliens in CA have been voting for some time now, and they do vote Dem.
Read about it Jobs1, use that computer knowledge you have to have an open mind.
I have, 40 cases and President Obama won by several million and will will again by several million.
No union man works side by side with illegals, it is the non-union who work side by side with illegal alliens and they would not say crap if they had a mouthful. You don't see them srcambling from a union construction site when the authorities show up.
Jobs1,
Criminal Aliens CAN AND DO vote, at least they do in California. For the large sum of $60, a Criminal Alien can obtain: a drivers license, social security card with number, and a voters card. Not difficult at all.
Hey jobs, can you tell me why you continue to associate Republicans with the TP? Isn't it true the TP is a group of both REP/DEM conservatives that have had enough of government run-away spending? If so, how can you equate the two as a single entity?
Then there should be ample documentation of rampant voting by undocumented migrants. Please provide in support of your claim.
Nope, the Tea Baggers are a chapter of the Republicans. Also, there have only been 40 cases of voter fraud caught. Of course the biggest case of voter suppression took place in FL. in 2000, where thousands of votes were thrown out.
The Constitution is the Constitution and no State can exert federal authority. Gee I thought Republicans were supposed to be strict constructionists and reject an activist judiciary.
Tea Party people are conservative, they believe in little government (not growing government so they can get more Public Union campaign contributions) and less or no Tax (FairTax.org)
That said, the 9th Circuit is Circus, and they are going to do nothing but seal the fate of the Uber Liberals in 2012.
How can they tell the state of Arizona that they cannot enforce a FEDERAL law?
Leave it to the 9th to come up with some BS like this.
Yes they can vote, and they do.
Have any statists on that?
In California, former Republican Rep. Robert K. Dornan was defeated by Democrat Loretta Sanchez by 984 votes in the 1996 election. State officials found that at least 300 votes were cast illegally by non-citizens.
2006 congressional race in southern California between Republican Brian Bilbray and Democrat Francine Busby, Busby told a room full of illegal aliens that they didn't need "papers" — meaning identification — to vote. Thank goodness it was recorded and played on talk radio shows across the nation. Busby lost because she got caught saying what many other Democrats may tell illegal aliens.
Acorn - The defunct political advocacy group ACORN has plead guilty in a case alleging that canvassers were illegally paid to register Nevada voters during the 2008 presidential campaign.
thetotas
"votes in the 1996" All you got is 15 years old?
Acorn – The defunct political advocacy group ACORN has plead guilty in a case alleging that canvassers were illegally paid to register Nevada voters during the 2008 presidential campaign.
Did you read what you wrote? It says illegally paid – nothing about illegal aliens.
Also nothing about the people on those fake ACORN-collected voter registration cards actually voting.
Dennis
Does this qualify??
Maria Azada, 53, of Grayslake, Ill., was arrested March 17 by ICE HSI agents and a Lake County State's Attorneys special investigator. Azada faces 17 felony counts in Lake County Circuit Court of perjury, mutilation of election materials, and tampering with voting machines in connection with illegal voting by a non-U.S. citizen.
The investigation began in February 2009 when Azada admitted to a USCIS officer during an interview for an immigration benefit that she had voted in an election. It is illegal for foreign nationals to vote in national or state elections in the United States.

One person out of how may millions?
Sure there are going to be a few cases. But this one like many do get caught and most are weeded out in the registration process.
One is to many, go ahead put on your blinders.
Two issues here. Firstly, Azada was caught and will be punished. The laws as written worked. Secondly, a guy from SD won the Lotto twice. That doesn't mean everyone is going to win the Lotto twice. The Azada exception doesn't prove the rule you're trying to establish.
9TH district court, bad enough in California, but San Francisco that doubles the chances for the judges to use their robes as long dresses, now if they would show the shoes, panty hose and training bras I could understand their decisions. I think somewhere in their oath, they will protect the Constitution of the United States, Protect the borders from foreign and domestic threats. If a invasion is not a threat, stealing of ID, forged papers is not a threat, let close all prisons and jails, fire the judges and politicians they are not doing their jobs, lets go to a new political party, darwinism party, only the strong survive.
