The Donald was at it again, offering a full-throated defense of birtherism and birthers this morning on MSNBC’s The Daily Rundown with Chuck Todd and Savannah Guthrie.
Asked if he wants to be taken seriously, why he continues to defend the false conspiracy theory that President Obama was not born in the United States, Donald Trump said, “Well, I do think it’s a serious issue. ... I am embracing the issue. I’m proud of the issue.” He claimed it is “not that much of a conspiracy… it’s really not.”
Trump, who says he's considering a run as a Republican for president in 2012, went further, chastising the media for using the term “birthers,” calling it “derogatory” to lots of “intelligent” people.
He said if it were true that the president weren’t born in the United States it would be the “greatest scam in the history of this country” and that there’s “certainly a chance” he’s not born in the U.S. He claimed Obama “could have come in after birth and could have been registered for purposes of hospitalization” or even “welfare.” “Excuse me,” he said, “I’ve grown up watching some of the great thieves of the world… this is peanuts compared to what these people do.”
He deadpanned later: “We all agree he was born.”
NBC’s Pete Williams reported on the birth announcement that appeared in the Honolulu Advertiser in 1961. Trump dismissed that, claiming the notice was “three days later. … Lots of things could happen.”
He added that “no nurses, no doctors, nobody came forward.” And he said that about 50 percent of Republicans “think he wasn’t born in the country” – and they’re “intelligent” people.
He even went so far as to almost question if Chuck Todd’s children were born in the United States after Todd said that he has “certificates of live birth” from DC. He contended that Todd could go down to the hospital where they were born and get authorization to get a more official “birth certificate” from the Department of Health -- provided they were born in the U.S., “which I assume they were,” Trump said.
Trump was also asked if he’s prepared for the financial scrutiny that would come with running for president. Official candidates for president are required to file financial disclosure forms. Asked, in particular, about his companies that have filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Trump became defensive.
“I never went bankrupt,” Trump said, trying to draw a distinction between personal bankruptcy and putting a company into Chapter 11. “Many of the biggest people in this country, many times have filed Chapter 11s on various companies in order to reduce debts.” He added, “I’ve done an unbelievable job” and used the laws of the country to help his companies.
Asked then if the United States should file for bankruptcy, Trump said no. “I wouldn’t recommend that,” he said, because the United States has more leverage.
On Libya, Trump said he didn’t “know enough” about the rebels to arm them.
On his decision to run for president, he said, “I will make a decision sometime prior to June.
“We’ll all have a lot of fun together.”

Like they would ALLOW someone to be president who was not a citizen!!! We constantly keep proving to people in other countries how dumb we are. And...we have no common sense either.

Something is wrong.
This is the story that no politician, member of the press, or legal authorized agency or court wants or pursue. Not one court has said The President has a valid court case. All cases to date have been thrown out based on odd and extreme legal technicalities that can only be justified with the finest twisting of The Constitution. No judge has said, "I've (the court) has seen/examined The President's Birth records and have found them to be valid or legal". That has not happened. All, including the U.S. Supreme Court have engaged all kinds of legal gymnastics to avoid pursuing this matter. Why???
A hundred dollars (allegedly) buys you the birth certificate to post, but not even the Governor of Hawaii can get a copy? And The President himself is spending millions of dollars, including taxpayer money, fighting demands that he make his birth certificate public, and not even his most popular television media detractors find that behavior worthy of a close review???
This may just be a political game of distraction. But when people are staking their careers and millions of dollars on it, the game might well be one that is bigger than we are all willing to admit. Anyone who's got The President's Birth Certificate please post it. Let's see it. Let's end the court cases. Let's save the taxpayers some money. Let's justify Bill O'Reilly's ridicule of birthers, confirm Glenn Beck's silence, and formally embarrass Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Let's get it out there...if you can find it.
Otherwise...something is wrong. And Donald Trump is crazy like a fox.

Of course racism is alive and well in this country. I have never seen such accusations against our president. He COULD NOT RUN for president without a birth certificate. Do you think for one minute the republicans would have him thrown out of office by now if they REALLY thought it was not real? What about that republican supreme court. If they have the power to say corporations have the same rights as people in this country...you would think they could have thrown the president out by now!!!! When I look back now, I believe Kennedy was killed for a number of reasons...one of which was civil rights...and so was Martin Luther King...and so was Robert Kennedy. It appears the Ku Klux Klan is just in hiding....but with a lot more power...the republican party. All these nice Christian White people...who HATE people for the color of their skins...you WONT get to heaven with such hate in your hearts. By the way, I am white. You birthers and Ku Klux Klan members just type in...Obamas birth certificate on your computer and you will find a website with the copy of it posted. I had no trouble finding a copy.

Folks! All that's out there on the web is the same web cached copy of the 'Certificate Of Live Birth' that's been out there since the Obama campaign first posted it. That is NOT a birth certificate. Even as a Certificate Of Live Birth all of the normal information isn't even on that web document. It's a piece of junk. But be satisfied if you wish.
"I did not have sex with that woman, Miss Lewinsky!" And what did that President's supporters say? It wasn't sex! Every 5 year old new that was a lie.
So now we are told that a Birth Certificate is any document thrown together with a birthdate and a name on it. Only in California.
We are waiting to see a post of the actual Birth Certificate. Come on!!! We are wasting time throwing insults and personal attacks around the web!!! Donald Trump needs to be put in his place! It's not race, it's not Birth Certificate, it's the spending. All he knows from being a community organizer is to give government money to people who set on their a-s. I'm retired and have saved a little and when the fool starts printing money to pay the debt, what little I have saved will be worthless.

Here's my solution...........Obama and Trump have a nice live tv/internet sit down friendly lunch........The president shows us a copy of the BC......Trump gets up, gets into a bathing suit, walks into a fast 30 second shower and shows the world what his real head/hair looks like

Many companies have used Chapter 11 to reduce debt,ie: dump thier debtload on the consumers. Of course with the laws the republicans passed a few years ago you, the American citizen, cannot walk away form your debts in the same fashion as a corperation. The problem being you are not quite as good a person as a corperation is. Scam on Donnie.
Trump is a joke. That fake birth certificate had no state seal. I know mine has (if I can find it). Any graphic program could have created Trumps birth certificate. Talk about grand standing! Like I said, he is a joke!
