Obama agenda: Bahrain's challenge

The New York Times: "The brutal crackdown in Bahrain poses the greatest Middle East democracy dilemma yet to the Obama administration, deepening a rift with its most important Arab ally, Saudi Arabia, while potentially strengthening the influence of its biggest nemesis, Iran."

The White House released the following statement on the passage of the UN resolution on Libya: “Following the successful adoption today of UN Security Council Resolution 1973 on Libya, President Obama called Prime Minister David Cameron of the United Kingdom and President Nicolas Sarkozy of France. The leaders agreed that Libya must immediately comply with all terms of the resolution and that violence against the civilian population of Libya must cease. The leaders agreed to coordinate closely on next steps, and to continue working with Arab and other international partners to ensure the enforcement of UN Security Council resolutions on Libya.”

It will be the biggest upheaval yet when the brutal regime of the Saudi's are overthrown. And the erratic, erroneous, enigmatic and encumbrous Obama presidency is responsible for it all. Future American generations will rue the day.

Off subject but this is too funny to pass up. A new poll on MSNBC between Sarah Palin and Charlie Sheen has Sheen at 41 to Palin's 36. This was poll was for Independents, shows what the Indies think of Mamma Grizzley.

Now that we have effectively declared an illegal and unofficial war against Libya, we can go on to Bahrain and irritate both friends and foes. Is there no end to this constant attack on countries that we have no business interferring with?

The United States is 'broke' financially and can't keep our own people working but we can give billions of dollars to countries on the other side of the world. Who really approves of these expenditures? Not me, for sure.

Check out the irony of this. The US and their allies along with the UAE and Jordan, propose to attack Qadaffi because his nation is at war with the same insurrectionist elements that now threaten our allies in Bahrain and Yemen...does that mean that we also attack those allies too?
