The truth, Safeguard, is that newt gingrich will never be the man that President Obama is today. Regardless of your personal rhetoric, I lived and worked in newt's district (Carollton, GA) and solicited his office for services more than once. Newt was a Republican whip until he put all that to the wash with a record of abuse of power. Newt was instrumental in covering up a toxic spill to the Tallapoosa River. He sideswiped the EPA and made sure the business was protected and not the people. Newt cheated on his wife with an intern (abuse of his position as a politician, "custodial authority") and went on to be a prolific hypocrite; that is what he is now, a hypocrite and a fraud. I can assure newt that we will be voicing his track record to the public in the strongest way if he runs for President. He's already established his track record as a usurper and abuser of his position to the detriment of his own constituency. With regard to "evil rich", we could care less if you're rich. If you're screwing your fellow Americans over to get rich, that's when we have a problem. So, Safeguard, take your foot off of the gas and ease it onto the brake until you have some truth and some direction, good luck.

Wright (only to disassociate himself from him, during the election) for 20+ years. A man who prides himself with being a community organizer, was a senator breifly voting 'Present' most of the time.

Newt would embarrass Obama in a debate, to the point where his teleprompter wouldn't know how to respond! (Yes libs that is funny, it's ok you cracked a smile) :) Newt would put Obama in a corner while debating and Obama wouldn't know what to say, or would say something to bite him later.

But lets take a look at the past 2 years. Is America better off than it was then? No question he is a big Lib spender and the American people don't care for that very much. The stimulas package (1.2 trillion dollars) was supposed to keep unemployment under 8% with shovel ready jobs. Libs come on, you can't defend it was a success. If you go beyond the fact that he's a hypocrit, serving divorce papers on his wife while she was hospitalized and having an affair even as he tried to gt Clinton impeached for a blow job, you should look into his scam for getting money out of people.
