Jeb Bush: 2012 run is not happening

Despite conservatives best efforts, including a column by National Review editor Rich Lowry, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush reiterates to Politico’s Jonathan Martin that he’s not running:

"Yes," Bush wrote in an email when asked if the door remained firmly shut on a White House campaign next year.

You know what's a shame? Ol' Jeb might actually be a good guy, and we will never find out. It was wasted on you-know-who. But then again, I can understand why it happened the way it did- Dick and Karl couldn't have pulled the wool over Jeb's eyes as easily as that one guy..."you-know-who".

I'm not surprised Jeb Bush isn't running, he's a smart guy and he knows that his brother pretty much wiped out any chance for him. From what I've read, Jeb Bush was the one the GOP had been priming and planning to run for president not George W. But Jeb lost his first run for FL Governor and George won. The GOP was looking for another Reagan and thought Jeb was a good choice.

Given JEB's involvement in stealing the 2000 election for his brother, and Marvin's involvement in 9/11, it would take some serious cajones and hubris to think that you would weather the scrutiny of the nomination and election process. Didn't JEB declare a state of emergency in Florida on September 10, 2001? The day his brother came to Sarasota. Curious. Never forget, 9/11 was an inside job, brought to us by Cheney and BushCo.

Paul, 9/11 an inside job? Come on really? If you want to be taken seriously you're going to have to drop the Oliver Stone act.

Now with the 2000 debacle in Florida with his dupe Kathleen Harris that's enough to upset his Presidential aspirations.

The history of 9/11 has yet to be conclusively written. No subpoena empowered investigation has been allowed to take place as yet. We can discuss history when an actual investigation has been allowed to take place. Nothing revisionist about understanding that all you have been told up to this point is an "official" conspiracy theory, unsubstantiated by any proof.

Has anyone given ANY thought to how many people would have to be in on the 9/11 conspiracy, were there really one? And how many would have to be sworn to secrecy, and not spill it? All those air traffic control people, in not only Boston, but Cleveland center and other places, just for starters?

Explain the phone calls people made to their families on these planes. The truth was told then. Did you read them, did you hear some of them? Oh that's right all of these people were told to call their families and here is what you have to say - I'm sure there was someone willing to die to coordinate that - right?

You sir are the one that is lying.

The point I have made four times now is that you refuse to acknowledge that the mass murder of 2979 fellow souls goes uninvestigated by anyone with the subpoena power and security clearances required to report back to you what the truth behind their deaths and our failures to protect them actually is. They tell you a compelling emotional story which is full of logistical holes and you believe it without any proof provided. You are exhibiting the symptoms of a traumatized brain. 9/11 was traumatizing to the ignorant, there does seem to be plenty of proof of that.

In Dec. 2004 I started predicting Jeb Bush in 2012 or 2016 after a Democratic "Bush placemarker" in 2008 to take the fall for the breakup of Iraq which is ultimately desired by the elitists no matter if they are GOP or Dem (note Joe Biden introduced the CFR's plan to "balkanize" Iraq as a non-binding Senate resolution in 2006). The overall goal is to use Iran to break up the largest Arab nations and get a pipeline from Mosul to Haifa. Also note four countries just signed the final agreement for the Tran-Afghan natural gas pipline.

Tho I thought it would be Clinton, but failed to notice her husband signed the CFMA which made her unelectable (if she had become the nominee or running mate it would have instantly become "the Clinton Recession" and still can if Jeb runs. Note that even Obama's recent recession commission places most of the blame on Clinton).

I don't think Jeb Bush's involvement with 911 would be a roadblock or even the 2000 election shenanigans (note Florida itself re-elected him after that and the country re-elected George W. Bush in 2004).

As for those 911 passenger calls, did you know that Michael Chertoff was named to head the FBI investigation of 911, that the 911 Commission asked for the actual impounded plane/phone records and Chertoff refused, instead giving them his own written "summary" of the calls? And when a German researcher read on AA's website that Flight 77 had no back of seat phones, he contacted AA and received a written letter confirming once again that Flight 77 had no back of seat phones. So we're left to ponder why no one can complete a cell phone call from that altitude and speed, and why "Barbara Olson" would anyway call the DOJ switchboard collect when she would know her husband's private numbers and presumably dial direct including to HIS cell phone.

Bob, Jeb is not going to run in 2012 for good reason he and anyone with any political sense is knows it is damn near impossible to beat an incumbent. He has a much better chance to win in 2016. The GOP hopefuls for 2012 just that hopeful. In other words their chances range somewhere around slim and none. Jeb may be related to GW but he's no fool.

I really don't see Jeb Bush waiting for 2016, as a couple of articles including the NR today note, he runs the risk of being considered a dinosaur by then and all this stuff we've been seeing over the last two years has been to keep his name out there. And note the progression of this, first he's not running at all, then he's not ruling out 2016 ("never say never"). In 2005 Hillary Clinton was refusing to say she would run or not. Last year we saw the corporate (so-called "liberal") media demonstrating their willingness to once again lick Bush boots. The New York Times even named Jeb's running mate: "Any lady not too southern or too Palin."

And now today we have NR beginning the chant of "run Jeb run" (2012). How many will eventually climb aboard?

Jeb will keep saying no as the case mounts in "favor" of him and the GOPers gradually realize they do not have a candidate. According to a poll 6 in 10 Americans say they would never vote for Palin. Romney is ultimately cursed with having done ObamaCare first himself. And Obama has personally re-opened the door for the Bush brand.

Realistically, what would he and Jeb Bush even have to debate about in Oct. 2012? They agree on wars/domestic spying/nonprosecution of torture/signing statements/indefinite detention/education/both oppose the Arizona law

that basically leaves the economy and ObamaCare (and abortion, but according to polls most americans now call themselves pro-life)

Obama's own recession commission practically ignored G.W. Bush and blamed the recession on Clinton (CFMA). If the corporate media decides to promote along these lines, it instantly becomes "the Clinton Recession" (and why Hillary Clinton could not even be the running mate in 2008, had to be "replaced" with what turns out to be the Clinton-clone Obama)

Romney is already dead meat because the GOP needs someone who can legitimately oppose (Romney)ObamaCare (how the Bushies ease Romney out in the primaries).

Plus the public opinion is already out there. Gallup polls show George W. Bush approval now commensurate with Obama's. Jeb is obviously the GOP's best bet in Florida. A Dem org (PPP) poll showed Ohioans would vote for GW Bush over Obama today by a margin of 50-42. Polls show a majority of BLUE states want ObamaCare repealed. Because of this, the Dems have had to demote Pennsylvania from solid blue to target state.

What could really push Jeb over the top tho is a breakup of Iraq. Obama already faces the political trap laid by George W. Bush set in Dec. 2008 by signing the agreement with Iraq that all troops come out by the end of 2011. If Obama ends up leaving the 50,000 troops in, he will erase one more dividing line between himself and Bush. If he takes them out he is only increasing the chances of civil war.

The breakup of Iraq can happen as quickly as the elitists telling the Kurds it's time to secede and seize Kirkuk (Kirkuk remains a major bone of contention between the three parties), and that they would be protected from invasion by Turkey or Iran. Joe Biden introduced the senate resolution to "balkanize" iraq in 2006. One of Hillary Clinton's first campaign promises was to leave enough troops behind to protect the kurds (there has recently been talk of replacing them with UN troops, but only in N. Iraq). One of the goals of this is an eventual Mosul-Haifa pipeline, as was hawked by Netanyahu to Brit

investors in June 2003. no "timeline" but he said eventually Iraq's oil would be flowing to Israel. Netanyahu has to know this is not possible without a complete breakup of iraq. But the other part of this is, southern Iraq would then "merge" with Iran. Who takes the fall for that? Why, Obama of course! Meanwhile the U.S. corporate media would then begin to hype the resulting "threat" to or destabilization of Saudi Arabia (one million Shia work in the Saudi oilfields), and call Jeb Bush the best candidate because of the Bush-Saudi ties to deal with it.

But overall we're seeing a "ground-up movement," that the country wants "Bush" back, the only way a Bush can ever be elected again, and once again the corporate media is resurrecting the brand name just as it did in 2000.

Jeb is dead in the water for 2012, and he knows it. The public's memories of his role in the 2000 election may have faded, but they still remember GW's presidency, and there isn't exactly a clamoring to return to that, except amongst the non-tea party Republicans. Perhaps 2016 is a possibility if Obama gets another term. If by some miracle the Reps can actually nominate a candidate who can win, that would pretty much shut the door, as 2020 would be too late for Jeb.
