Bachmann's rival SOTU response?

Today, the Tea Party Express announced that Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann (R) will broadcast her own response to President Obama's State of the Union address on Tuesday.

Bachmann's response will be broadcast on the Tea Party Express' Web site.

But a Republican staffer with knowledge of the situation says that Bachmann's address won't be a rival response to GOP Rep. Paul Ryan's official response.

Rather, the staffer said, it's "a response of a member of Congress that was arranged by Tea Party Express well before GOP named its response."

Quick some one toss a bucket of water on her! "Help Me Help Me I'm Melting". So the "Official" Republican rebuttal isn't good enough she has to do the "Tea Party" rebuttal as well? Good grief they are desperate for attention and to demonise the President.

In addition to the inability to move one's eyes, Thorazine also causes lip smacking and stiffness. Guess that's why she and her sister Sarah find it so diffucult to go away. LOL

Michelle Bachmann’s Jesus-Lovin’ Barry-Bashin’ Bat@!$%# Crazy Hour

Unfortunately for her the State of the Union and the response are public services announcements and thus, are carried by the major networks free of charge, while the Bachmann response doesn’t qualify and is instead a teevee show programmed by Jesus talking in Bachmann’s head ( 6:00PM Joel Osteen Ministries … 6:30PM Bachmann SOTU Response … 7:00PM Two And A Half Men … then a Law Order SVU marathon) so she will have to find someone to sponsor it.

Probably Goldline and Hoveround and six or seven of the Koch brothers front organizations because it will appeal to the all important 64 to Going Towards The Light, Will Believe Any @!$%# They Hear demographic.

Beverly

A Law and Order SVU marathon????? I'm in.

Oh, I get it, one loudmouth isn't enough! Maybe Bachmann will make sure us sheeple will hear the rebuttal! Remember the SNL skit where Garrett Morris yelled the news to the reporter that was telling us the news?? (This goes back into the 70's) Priceless for those of us old enough to remember!!!

Love it, but like I said, Law and Order prevails!!

Michelle Bachmann clearly has a need for attention. She, like her sister, Sarah Palin can raise money and eyebrows but neither of them are very bright and will say anything just to get in the headlines.

They are not serious individuals with gravitas.

MSNBC is liberal i.e. gives all points of view; unlike Fox aka the de facto Republican Headquarters.

In the morning you have conservative. In the evening you have liberals .

How many liberals does Fox have with their very own shows? I'm not talking about pundits either.

Juan Williams got a $300 million contract but not his own show.

Now that is funny!!!! The only place where I've seen this on MSNBC is Soft Ball and Matthews doesn't let the guy speak. So, no, MSNBC does not give all points of view. This is why MSNBC is the bottom of the ratings, well besides CNN.

paul-florida...the reason chris mathews dosen't let people speak sometimes is because when he ask's a question they don't give the answer to his question. he won't allow you to spin. you have to give the hard answers. that's why it's called hardball. now they should change hannity's show to be called softball . especially when " the palinesta" is on.

I keep wondering if there is a real person there somewhere? Her eyes are so vacant that she is completely spooky. But still, her giving a response is hysterical. There is only one reason that she would do such a thing. She thinks she is Presidential material, and most likely the only person in the country that thinks she should run.

The GOP staffer may say Bachmann's address won't be a rival to Paul Ryan's but my guess is there's some serious "fuming" going on behind the scenes.

Bachmann thinks she's a serious candidate, and scarey as it is, Rep Steve King's Iowa district would probably support her or her twin. She's in Iowa today. Wonder how long before Karl Rove and friends figure out a way to get her off the stage.

Really? You think this makes sense? Granted, Bachmann has gotten a voice coach to tone down her voice, dressing more up-town and less like a cheerleader - but the fact remains - she is not anything more than a Congressional representative up-start who has no clout, even if she does have her own megaphone. Bad form.

Remember, Bachmann is the self-anointed Queen of White Tea (a variety that is easily over-brewed, becoming very bitter).

Bachmann has a penchant for taking unsubstantiated, isolated anecdotal accounts and using them as the basis for formulating public policy. Who needs verifiable evidence, unbiased data, and fact-checking when you can rely upon highly speculative supposition and inflammatory innuendo instead?

Bachmann's m.o. is to promote irrational fear -- delusional nonsense about taking up arms against census takers, the government sending people to internment camps, progressives in Congress having unAmerican motives, repealing the U.S. Senate, encouraging her constituents to be armed and dangerous, etc. She seems to regard Joseph McCarthy as a role model.

For someone who claims to be so knowledgable about the U.S. Constitution and indignantly points her finger at the "tyrannical conduct" of the Obama Administration, Bachmann sure is fond of making comments suggesting that what the nation really needs is a good old fashioned coup.
