Anti-abortion activist announces Dem presidential bid

In a move that appeared more about self-promotion than actually winning, anti-abortion activist Randall Terry today announced his bid for the 2012 Democratic -- yes, Democratic -- nomination for president in front of the Holocaust Memorial Museum in D.C.

He said that, above everything else, his campaign is about the rights of fetuses that are "being brutally slaughtered and thrown in dumpsters and landfills."

Then Terry added that his campaign will be about the "human rights of the slave labor force on Obama's plantation," becoming the second social conservative to recently invoke race and slavery when discussing abortion

Terry argued that he can "pummel Obama's policies" and show him to be "the arch promoter of child killing in the Western Hemisphere" in a Democratic primary. He did acknowledge the obvious: that defeating Obama would be a long shot.

I was thinking the same thing! lol

They're practically falling all over themselves crawling out of the woodwork!

And shame on this nitwit for disgracing the Holocaust Museum & drawing parallels about bodies in landfills!

Wow. I keep refreshing waiting for a post from...

Rod Serling, Twilight Zone

It was one thing to see something from a social conservative Democrat (I thought they were extinct),

then there was a comment by no joe......

then Feisty.......

.....not needlessly attacking no joe?

That's crazier than the transformation you see Cesar on the Dog Whisperer do with psycho chihuahuas going through crack withdrawals .....

I need a scotch.

Picture if you will, a tiny town in Mid-Atlantic America, where those who seek power congregate and plan their schemes of the future. Now see this this small man, Randall Terry, with 1 issue and 1 issue only on his determined yet troubled mind. How will he, Randall Terry, become the next American Idol.

Gimmick, show, disrespect to the Jewish. Does he seriously think democrats will welcome him to their party? I doubt conservatives want him either.

How dare you say such a thing. First of all to suggest that it's ok to murder a child in the womb is bad enough, but to say that you wish that someone had been killed takes it to a whole other level.
You are in need of some real soul searching and I'll pray that you have a change of heart.

Oh my! And just when you thought a "you are a Nazi" was the worst thing that could be said, we got us Tom, the poster boy for civil discourse. Keep on "leaning forward" d-bag.

If calling someone a Nazi is the worst in your mind, Spanky, clearly you haven't spent enough time on the Internet.

Invoking Godwin's Law (whether to insult or argue) is pretty low-brow and barely worth a yawn.

Oh please, Tom, your post was great! Nothing like lending a little facetious humor to this blog... 75% of the readers are now googling 'facetious' right now to see if they should be pissed or not....

Good Job, Tom! Post more often!

Oh, and let me guess: Having Bill O'Reilly chant "George "The Baby Killer" Tiller" over and over on the airways until he is shot to death by Scott Roeder at his church in 2009 is subtle for you, isn't it, Spanky and Aaron?

Get it through your fracking, thick skulls: ABORTIONS HAVE BEEN DEEMED A LEGAL, MEDICAL PROCEDURE!!!!

Who the hell are you to tell a woman what she can and/or cannot do with her body?

How dare you come between a woman and her medical provider?

Let me go on record and say this to ALL Conservatives: After the Shi'ite we have seen and heard from you and your ilk for the past 2 to 3 years, THE LAST THING I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU JACKWAGONS IS ASKING FOR CIVILITY OR COMPLAINING ABOUT ANYONE BEING CIVIL!!!!

THE LAST THING I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU JACKWAGONS

So what exactly is a "jackwagon" anyway?

After the Shi'ite we have seen

Do you mean the branch of Islam which considers Ali's descendants the true successors of Muhammad?

Just trying to keep the language PG-13 up in here. Just remove the "I" and the "E" between the "T", and it should be plain clear what I'm saying, Slim.

This isn't funny. These ads are already on his website and will be coming to a TV near you. Similar ads were run at dinnertime by a horrible woman named Missie Smith in the DC TV market last November and are deeply offensive. Shame on those people for exposing children to this. These are graphic, so if you have a weak stomach, don't look. Randall Terry is a scumbag and so are all of his supporters. He's running just so he can show these.

They should call themselves "Pro-Forced Childbirth" (Or face jailtime)

Personally, if I were a woman, I would rather spend time in jail than be forced to birth my rapists child, just for the emotional damage such a cruel fate forced onto me by bible thumpers would provide.

If Abortion is wrong, than eternal damnation is plenty of a consequence, no need to get the criminal justice system involved. But again, Im a non-believer, why the HELL should I be forced to abide by the same rules as a group of people who chose to be believers?

          @ James -- It's a concept they will never accept - CHOICE!

The choice between a woman and her higher being!

They're big on birthin them - raising them... eh... not so much!

          Here's a shocker for you...

I'm a Republican and I agree with you.

Now I DON"T think one cent of tax money should be used. Then you have people who do believe being forced to participate through taxation.

Actually Randall Terry is a Republican. In 1998, he ran for Congress in upstate New York, and in 2006 for a seat in the Florida State Senate, both times losing in the Republican primary.

Well this is the first Dem I would actually think about voting for.

Hopefully after Congress gets done repealing or defunding Obamacare (which allows for gov't sponsered killing of unborn children) Speaker Boehner can start on legislation to make abortion illegal once and for all.

Kill an eagle? Go to jail for 10 years...... Kill a baby? Your "responsible"....
