Let me be the first to congratulate Pat!
An excellent question deserves an excellent response!
I still think we'll be seeing each other at the Super Bowl! ;o)
And Mark... working on a Saturday and it's not even an election year! I'm impressed! Do try to enjoy the rest of your weekend!
PS: Can you check with Tyler and see if there's any way these 'lost' Match.com members can be banned? Hawking cheap sunglasses and knock off accesories is bad enough...
But I think I can speak for all that these love struck losers are definitely looking for 'love' in all the wrong places!
Agreeded Redhead. BTW, my youngest met his wife through there & they are so disgustingly happy, ( 7 yrs. so far) that it makes marriage so boring I'd never try it again if I were single-roflmao.
P.S. Personally, I need a few "fireworks" from time-to-time to break the boredom that can set in after 44 yrs.
I still think we'll be seeing each other at the Super Bowl! ;o)
Come on now Feisty, why would Pat want to go all the way to Dallas to see the Chiefs play in the Super Bowl?
Yay, Pat! An excellent question indeed.
Mark and Domenico: Enjoyed your answer to Pat, but it leads me to this question: The Republican Party tends to go with the "next in line candidate". Would that be Romney? And if it is, I don't think it will take long for other candidates to weaken him, both due to this religion, and health care in MA. Now, if they do pick him, don't you think he will have a challenge from the right wing fringe, Bachmann, Santorum, Palin? And isn't it going to be difficult for the Republican party to win in that circumstance?
Breaking News: AZ Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords has been shot at close range (possibly in the head) while attending a public event in Tuscon...
My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family at this time!
I will reserve my thoughts on this for now... but it WAS only a matter of time before something like this happened thanks to the frenzy the right has been whipped into!
NPR has reported that she is dead. RIP congresswoman Giffords.
Reuters has confirmed it as well... along with 5 others...
What a HORRIFIC day or ALL of America!
Godspeed Congresswoman!
This is absolutely outrageous behavior. I too will reserve my immediate thoughts about the types that perpetrate crimes like this.
Thoughts and prayers to the Congresswomans family and to anyone else who has been injured!
Hi Feisty
Reuters has confirmed it as well... along with 5 others...
What a HORRIFIC day or ALL of America!
This is truly a sad day. I don't know the Congresswoman; but I feel as if I've shot.
I 'm hearing conflicting reports. Hopefully she will survive and whatever functions are left she will use to perform to the best of her ability.
I'll reserve my comments about this heinous crime until we find out more about the motivations.
Best Wishes for the Congresswoman.
Update: Rahm Emmauel recruited her.
Thanks for taking my questions. Mitt Romney. Ugh.
I agree with Domenico - the Jets don't impress me either. Shocking what's going on with the Saints/Seahawks game. Other than that, under the circumstances, football takes a backseat with the news today.
This shooter sounds like a very unstable individiual from the little I know about him. It's what we have always worried about. The rhetoric goes way way overboard and you just don't know how someone is going to react. You just never know. I think we all have at one time or another wondered if we would see violence eventually. It's been out there for a while.
Very sad.
