NBC: Democrat wins close race for Vermont governor

NBC News now reports Peter Shumlin (D) as the winner for governor of Vermont. He defeated Lt. Gov. Brian Dubie (R), 49%-48%.

The seat was held by a Republican, Jim Douglas, who is retiring.
