Congress: Rangel likely to represent himself

When does this ever turn out well? "Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) will likely represent himself at his mid-November ethics trial, setting up a potential spectacle less than two weeks after what’s expected to be a disappointing -- if not devastating -- election for Democrats," The Hill says.

Lawyers are required to withdraw from representing a witness at trial if they know the witness plans to LIE.

Coincidence all Rangle's lawyers jumped ship?

Tired of the LIES? Vote out Rangle, Reid, Pelosi and the rest of "the ends justifies the means" progressive liars.

And just where does it say the lawyers 'jumped ship', Madison?

You come on here day after day making up all kinds of claims and spreading your negativity and hate. Your house is made of glass and you are throwing stones.

"Rangel and lawyers for the Washington firm of Zuckerman Spaeder have parted company, according to people inside and outside Congress familiar with the breakup. * * * * The law firm declined to comment."

Law firms that learn a defendant plans to lie must withdraw from representing that defendant at trial and may not disclose the reason. Exactly what happened here.

Once again, it does not say the lawyers abandoned him and it does not say they knew he was going to lie. Are you part of the law firm? The article you cite indicates a 'no comment'. Again, you have come on here saying something you can not back up.

The FACE of the Democratic Party. Do I need say more Dems. If this was a Republican still free and hoping to get back in Congress with this type of record, you would have set this media ablaze against the Repubs.

Better than a Vitter or an Ensign . . . or a Gingrich (adulterer), Cheney (Liar and draft dodger), etc.

When you live in a glass house, you should not throw stones.

In ALL other businesses we, the employees, are cautioned about the "Appearance of impropriety" - never mind the 'letter of the law'. It's always the politicians who are squawking about letter of the law, 'technically' I didn't do .... , etc. And he's still running, AND the sheep will probably vote him back into office. We the people deserve exactly what we get. We're willing to "settle-for". And, at the end of the day, we have "The Best Congress Money Can Buy".
