Palin makes more endorsements

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) has endorsed eight more GOP candidates on her Facebook page in the past week, including four today. On Oct. 21, Palin put her social-networking support behind Idaho Gov. Butch Otter (who's running for re-election), Sean Bielat (who's challenging Rep. Barney Frank in Massachusetts), Stephen Fincher (running for an open congressional seat in Tennessee), and Randy Hultgren (who's challenging Rep. Bill Foster in Illinois).

And today, she backed Dick Muri (challenging Rep. Adam Smith in Washington state), Rob Steele (taking on Rep. John Dingell in Michigan), Ilario Pantano (facing off against Rep. Mike McIntyre in North Carolina), and Chuck Wilkerson (who's challenging Rep. Henry Waxman in California).

Strikingly, fewer than half of these contests are competitive -- Fincher's race in Tennessee, McIntyre vs. Pantano in North Carolina, Foster vs. Hultgren in Illinois.

Palin doe sendorsements to keep her name in-front of the media. She still is uneducated (6 colleges to graduate), poor mother (one son required to go into the military or go to jail, a high school daughter who slept in her parents house with her boyfriend and had a baby out of wedlock, another daughter who was part of a group that broke into a house and did $20,000+ damages while drinking underaged,....), doesn't read, and does not know the laws and Constitution of America. A true American looks to solve all of Americans problems.

JuvenBachan you do understand that al capone has been dead 70 years. you know he is not walking around still killing people like he did almost 90 years ago.
the truth is sarah pailn is a fraud, that when she talks does not say any thing.
the endorsements today proves she is a fraud, Bill foster a democrate from dupage county in illinos voted against HRC and the stimulis, he did that decause he did not follow party lines like others do, but she is endorsing Randy Hultgren why, bill foster has voted in line with the voters in dupage county a consertive district and they seem to want him back.

With sarah she would endorse a killer, rapist or criminal if he were running as a republican against a democrate. she does not look at the individual elections to see where the candadits are on key issues, or how voted in the last 2 years. she just endorses at will.

the endorsement against bill foster is a classic example why sarah is playing a game she does not understand and should be at home with her son that needs her more than we do.

Did anybody read Chuck Todd's Live Chat this afternoon? All I can say is "well, that was depressing." Not just his "predictions,"which, frankly I don't put much stock in, but the media's complicity in making it appear the "Tea Party" is anything more than the energized Republican base. The media seems to have forgotten the Democrats have a base too, and a wider and more numerous base at that. It's frustrating when Todd notes that educated Americans don't know much about the healthcare bill, without taking responsibility for the fact that those educated Americans are HIS audience, the people he is supposed to keep informed. But, I guess, he doesn't take that part of journalism seriously, his real interest is polics as sports - whose up whose down. Who goes to the superbowl, that sort of thing.

Sarah Palin is the one responsible for the hatred and violence going on in this election...she stated it during the presidential campaign and the GOP was taken to task about it....but now her teaparty affiliation is doing it...and she is the perpetrator. We never had this hatred in elections until she came upon the scene...think about it.

While she is good at whipping up the far right base, she is repellent to moderate, independent voters. All Palin does is ensure that the conservative base gets out to cast their ballots. Other than that, she's a liabilty.

Her job is to stir up and expose left wing idiots and you've never failed her.

And Jeff: She's not running for anything and it's apparently escaped you that every campaign speech ever made is NOTHING but talking points. Everything above President Obama's shoulders is a talking point. Campaign ads are all talking points.

There is no such thing as a complete thought in political campaigning.

Her being on the ticket with McCain was the absolute best endorsement Obama could have hoped for, a VP pick that instantly nullified McCain as a viable POTUS. She has a fan base but it will never get her elected to national office, but I don't think she is concerned, she is living off the political landscape, and doing quite well profiting from the regular folks who donate to her PAC. She is now the only multi-millionaire, jet set, let the nanny mind the kids, elitest that can properly represent the poor regular working folks. She is good at what she does, a paid shill.

Seriously, you people are liberals? Whatever happened to feminism? And drive-by, just because Sarah Palin had her kids with her on some of her campaign stops, it doesn't equate to dragging "the poor child around like a broken rag doll throughout the election cycle." ALL candidates put their families on stage during election cycles, even your hero, President Obama!

I really feel badly for those blinded by partisan politics. It's so sad when people are unable to form an independent thought and are instead satisifed on falling back to the "Republicans bad, Democrats good" mantra and vice-versa.

The only problem I see with that is that you have no idea where you want the country to go (except back mind you) and you have absolutely no idea how to get there.... Are you guys following that.

Sometimes you have to hit the reset, go back to where things were good, and efore they fell apart, and then start making things better. Cause I just have to say, 2002 was alot better for me than 2010..... not sure about the rest of you.

Sarah Palin scares the bejeebers out of the left for one very good reason, she stands a chance of splitting the white woman vote which has historically voted Dem. If that were to happen then a lot more dead people are going to have to vote for Dem's to win. SO continue to do what you always do, indeed what your President does, belittle and smear the other side. BTW how is that working out, calling the people you need to vote for you stupid?

Charles, I will use smaller words. The 'white women' vote has historically, sorry in the past voted for Democrats. Democrats spend so much time and effort talking mean about her because they are afraid she might cause them to lose the 'white women' vote and that would be very bad for Democrats. Simple really!

Sarah Palin has a particularly irritating voice. She grates and screeches. The thought of her running for president is a mixed bag. She'll definitely get trounched unless the US IQ continues to drop but having to listen to that voice....

Voice quality may have helped Obama SELL THE VAGUENESS OF HOPE AND CHANGE, but his inexperience, mixed with his totally leftist, power-hungry philosophy has rendered him a total cluster@!$%# as President !

His leadership is like trying to fly an airplane backwards !!

Does anyone actually know of someone who has been swayed to vote for someone because of an endorsement? The entire endorsement thing gives most people a big case of "who cares".

Wow, Jeff, have you not ever witnessed a historical re-enactment? I guess that having been raised in the Commonwealth of Virginia, I have seen may from the Revolutionary War through the Civil War. And believe me, if you turn on the TV, you will find many war movies in which some of our greatest heros have played the enemy as well as some just plain evil people. History should not be forgotten and you should be thankful that people in the US have willingness and the oportunity to portray history that needs to be remembered. At least you recognized that the SS were evil. Your parents did a good job.

When i was 18 i worked for a guy that survived the holocost, there no nothing right about dressing up like a SS guard, that all they did was kill Jews. also during the battle of the bulge, SS soildiers slautered 100 US soldiers instead of taking them to the POW camp.

Its the same as dressing up like a confederate soldier and carring the flag its very demeaning to black as the SS uniform is the same for Jews, this guy was doing this to get close to his son. they were not reinacting they were doing this when they got together.

my point was that sarah is endorsing any and everything republican.

Jeff, slavery, the battle flag of Virginia, a confederate uniform are not Republican. They are US History. It should be studied and remembered. and yes as with many terrible events, good things can happen from then. Slavery was not just black. In fact the first black slave owner in Virginia was a black man who had come to America as an Indentured Servant. There can be heroes during any time. My junior high was named after Washington Irving, another Good American. Don't hide from the past and don't take everything so personal. Lets all remember the past, face the future and take the good we learned and make it better. Lets stay free and keep our federal govenerment small. For now? My youngest granddaughter is over and we are fixing dinner. I really have to go and wish you a good evening.

She is picking predominantly conservative candidates that adhere to her own basic ideals of what this great county needs. She speaks of the positives of what is and what should and can be in our country. She believes in the the dreams of our "founding fathers" and in the US Constitution with limited government. This is where we can be the best that we can be and gain rewards for ourselves, our children and whatever else we wish to contribute to while using good morals that were taught by our parents. She is not alone! God Bless America!!!!

                                              Ok the fun is over,

just for the record, i consider my self a conserive liberal, you know there are some of us out there. i don't watch MSNBC any more because there are over the top, i tried to watch fox, but that not real news. i watch CNN real fair and balance news, they tell the good and bad about both parties.

i have not agree with everything Obama has done but i still support my president, the same as you did with Bush right!!!

i don't agree with abortion and the second amendment is the law and should not be taken away, no matter how many kids are killed on the streets of Chicago.

i believe government should not be raising our children and fathers(black fathers) should be held accountable for there children, the president feels the same way. i think its because his father like mine was not there when we both needed him.

i raised my 4 kids with out the government(food stamps, public aid) help. i worked my ass off providing them a good home and a good out look on life. 3 daughters through college(i paid for it all my self) my son in college.

so please don't generalizee everybody as a liberal and i don't everybody as a Conservative. we are free thinking individuals that have a mind of our own.

i vote democratic because for the last 30 years every republicans president has put us in Debt in the name of fiscal conservatism. what is so important now is that the same republican law makers that want to keys to the car now are the ones that damaged it last time and with my vote i will not allow that to happen again. the democrats are not perfect but i have more trust for them than the republicans.

some times i see these post and i can't help my self because like Obama said during the 08 election, this is silly season and the silly are out in force, liberal and Conservative.

But why even bring up the color? I know you are proud and you should be. You are a great example of the American Dream. You took the opportunities that were available to you and obviously made the most of them. You have not only provided for yourself, but you have given the gift we all should strive for. That is to give our children a brighter future with even more opportunities than we had growing up. It is for that future that we both are willing to fight the fight and stand up for our own causes. Lets hope that we both stand up together as Americans to insure a positive future for our children, grandchildren... May they continue our hard work and achieve whatever it is they desire. It is an honor to cross words with you this afternoon.

I think Chuck Todd leans right in his analysis, as well as in the design of his poll questions and sampling. The great thing about Russert was that Todd had to pass muster on his reporting and polling with Tim, who was his boss. Now that Todd is chief White House correspondent and head statistician, he can pretty much deliver more right-leaning results. I know he believes he's centrist and fair, but this election will tell whether I'm right or not.

GOD Bless all of you, i have no more hope and i'm tired of fighting to make life better for all of us, there is no more hope left.

vordell, I can see what you mean when you say they want you back into slavery. I am white myself, but I have noticed how many black people they are going after in politics. The southern states used to be all democratic. But as the democrats started talking rights for blacks, the south went with republicans because they saw they could get that sector of votes speaking out AGAINST civil rights. True. Now, isnt that something to be proud of? Their very base is built on hatred....trickled up.

Most leftists play above the fray. Yes "proud republican" there are many here that do not, but for the most part we watch. Statistically and historically mid term elections change hands often. It is all talk, no action.

She has no new ideas except maybe to finish the job George Bush did leading us into a deep depression. Ronald Reagan started it with the help of Alan Greenspan. Maybe Palin will bring about the final revolt of the common people when things get intolerable under her leadership. Someone should tell her and her friends that unless ordinary people regain some buying power, they wont be selling the junk they are bringing in this country to US. The way I see it, there is only one or two places left to steal money from...and thats the stock market and social security. She's right about one thing....we may need our guns for the coming revolution.
