President Obama has voted already absentee, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said at the briefing.
He voted for Democratic candidates in Illinois Pat Quinn for governor and Alexi Giannoulias for Senate.

Wow that wasn't predictable comment at all.
Seriously, Madison? If the headline read "Clinton has already voted absentee" or "Bush has already voted absentee" or "Palin has already voted absentee", would you have made the same comment?
It's kind of like the one you made yesterday when the headline read "Obama courts Latino voters" and you somehow managed to turn that into "Obama is a divisive vile racist", when in fact George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Al Gore,John Kerry, John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, etc., etc., etc. - virtually every national politician in the last 30 years - has had the same headline written more than once about them. So are they all "divisive vile racists" too?
For your own sake, if you want to be taken seriously on this board, you might want to try thinking your comments through before you post them.

Kids, it's Chicago. "Vote early and often" has been their election day mantra for as long as I've been alive. When the "news" story is as pointless as this one, the obvious bears repeating.

Maybe he thinks he's a corporation. That way, he can vote as himself, and again as an employee of the corporation, then again as a stockholder, and again as a board member..... oh, you get the idea, Maddie.

We should all be voting via Absentee Ballots here in NY with the first election using scan tron voting machines. Oh, and BTW...The Rent is TOO Damn High! Too High!

Why is this news? Best way to vote is to vote absentee. From the mailbox to the registrar to be counted. Miller's and Rand's thugs can't step on you on the way to the polls.
I prefer the old fashioned way- my (and by that I mean the collective) vote is WAY to important to leave it in the hands of the USPS these days.

Why can't the president of the United States tell the people? Why does his press secreatary who won't answer why the president has a Conn social security card tell us?
Actually I am kinda curious, don't we usually make a big news story of following the President to the polls to watch him step into the booth? And does he vote in DC or Chicago? What's protocol on this one?

Isn't that sweet the President get to vote while blocking the Military men and woman fighting overseas the same right! This man and his DOJ thug gives a pass to the states violating the law on absentee voting for the military and he cast his vote! He is a disgraceful human being and he knows the military will vote three to one in favor of the GOP so he blocks their right to vote. He needs to be impeached and the DOJ needs to be investigated and Eric Holder needs to be fired and charged with failure to enforce the laws of the US which is his sworn constitutional duty

Has Andrew Breitbart yet broken the story that the President isn't entitled to vote in IL because he currently resides in DC?
Does MSNBC/FR/NBC actually go out and cover this, or does Gibbs just "tweet" the information in to them from outside the restroom, uh, I mean voting booth?
Well wade if you want the job and you think you can do better then apply for it. To quick to criticize and not patient enough to allow progress to transpire. But what I really find funny is that all the Obama haters are quick to comment on how bad a job this President is doing, but I don't hear any commenting on how they are willing to help him in restoring this country.
In my opinion this President is doing the best that he can and if anyone hate him for trying, then run for the office yourself.
There are to many sit on the couch at home political analyst with totally misleading opinions and views. The only thing it does is confuses and demeans the article that was written.
My approval rating for this President is at 89%. If you agree or not don't care. He's a good President and he needs the help of the people to do the job we elected him to do.
It's the do nothing Senate and Congress that has this country at hostage.

Don't you know thats what the Tea Party is all about. Regular everyday citizen's with all their flaws running for the highest offices in the land. Well maybe irregular people when you think about the more popular Tea party candidates, but any hoots If I can comment then I can run the nations as long as I have talking points to use. Please do not ask me to contemplate any further than my prepackaged, readily supplied opinions from the most respected conservatives mouthpieces that have all the answers but won't leave from behind their golden microphones, to serve the nation since they do hold all the keys to National Prosperity and American Exceptionalism. No they would rather sit on their big a$$es and complain like if their advice was followed we all would be bathing in milk and honey and all would be right with the world.
So they support the regular folks that really haven't a clue past the opinions they have on how to solve deficit problems, keep the nation secure, bolster a floundering economy, and foriegn affairs. But Lord knows they have all the social issue in control lets turn over the reigns of our government to these regular Americans God knows we cant do worse can we?
I read this somewhere and I thought it hit the nail on the head. (Obama is a failed personality, a narcissistic Emperor Nero type, who seeks adulation from dwindling numbers of sycophants, while pushing policies which punish the vast majority).
First and far most good morning you wonderful world of bloggers. I see that things didn't change much since last night. Are we still harping over the fact that the 1st lady is helping the President to campaign? Shame on you Mrs Obama for being a wonderful woman and caring wife.
I guess that is what you get for not being a hood rat and staying in school. believing in moral values and teaching your children to be respectful and well mannered. I guess going to Harvard Law school and becoming a successful lawyer don't count for much unless you defend the crooks and big corporations.
Shame on you Mrs 1st lady for just being real and yourself. I think you just need to be like the rest of the people in the world and let your kids do whatever they feel like, or say whatever they feel like.
You see I just can't seem to understand some of you people? Not all of us are gangsters and thugs. Yet we are all classified that way. The funny thing about it is that every time I see the first lady she is displaying a character of grace and charm.
As for the military brat sister you are as wrong as two left shoes. The only reason you can't hang out is because anything that you and your non-military parent do is reflected back on your active military parent. Then the MP's aren't going to let anyways. I know what I'm talking about because I too was in the military.
I now live close to a military base and some of the military spouses are so crude and nasty to civilian it's unreal. They think that the rest of the world should bow down to them because their husband or wife is active duty.
Last note don't be fooled into thinking anything is going to change, reason I say this because it is evidence that Americana's just don't want change. It's all about the status quote. The only time they cry for help is when they are facing adversity.
Most of you so called christians never pray to God until the bottom falls out from up under you. I had a guy tell me last night that I was a low life dem that is looking for a hand out from the government. Not true at all.
Do I want to know what the tea party is about? Not really, I just don't care. It goes the same for the dem, rep, and indep as well. I just want a fair working government and that is what we all should want.
Do anybody remember what Lara Bush said about the people of New Orleans "They are use to living like that" after that tragedy. It was her husband that opened the borders. It was her husband that sat in a classroom full of children pretending to be reading to them and trying to convince people he didn't know anything about what was going on 911. How can you be the Commander in chief of the US armed forces and not know what is going on in your intelligence agencies.
How much wool is going to pulled over your eyes until you wake up and smell the coffee. Most of these coments are simply garbage and should be thrown out with the trash.
Leave the first lady alone she wonderful and I like her just Jill Biden. Especially Hilary Clinton. These three ladies are what America needs. Then if playing residence evil, allowing your kids to throw bricks at old women, and thinking you are my best friend is what is best for your kids then continue to let them do it.
However leave the ladies alone. They raised thier children right and I wish most of us would do the same.
