"Mitt Romney is continuing to raise money at a rapid clip, bringing in nearly $1.7 million over a three-month period and outpacing other possible 2012 Republican presidential hopefuls, according to federal election records and campaign officials," the Boston Globe writes. "By comparison, former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin brought in $1.2 million between July and September, and Governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota reportedly collected about $778,000."
Manna from Beck: "Conservative media personality Glenn Beck implored his listeners Thursday to flood the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with donations… 'I would like to have this [be] the largest day of fundraising for the Chamber of Commerce ever,' Beck told listeners, according to audio flagged by the liberal group Media Matters for America," The Hill writes.

And the rich get richer, no doubt, right now I'm remembering that oldie but goodie tune about "A fool on the hill", most repugnants fill that spot very well.
Union Baby, I'm sure when you get rich, you'd like to get richer and richer and richer and richer. If you don't like the rest , I'm here waiting for the extra dollars.
Seems like only Republicans are the rich class in the world. I wonder if all Dems are poor? Perhaps , one day I will compile a list of those Dems who are rich. Like those in the south with their plantations, those on Wall St, those in the banks, those in the oil business, those in the United Nations, those in the Third World with their various causes, Global Warming, Initiatives, etc, those electronic Giants, like Gates, those whiz kids, those young billionaires, those who own businesses in Arab countries, like Bloomberg, Soros etc. I wonder why I can't find a rich Dem? Kerry?, the Kennedys?
What I would like to clarify is that while Romney and probably Pawlenty will run for president. Sarah Palin will not. She knows that she would have no chance in the general election let alone the primaries. All the studying and brushing up on policy issues would not help her in the debates or townhalls when she is facing an opponent or anything other than an adoring crowd. Romney will use his money to campaign and run.
Actually isn't Palin just getting paid for her little folksy chats? She isn't getting campaign contributions is she? Either way I bet she will use the money for her own personal enrichment. Way to reward a quitter Tea Partiers!
Still amazed that these types have begun to raise money for a 2012 run. The midterms aren't even over!
They are raising money because they learned their lesson from Obama. I don't know if he was the one that thought of it, or one of his staff like Axelrod, but having foreign sources buy prepaid cards and use phony names and PO boxes for addresses, then donate over the internet, was a brilliant way to get around the law. Two, however, can play the game. The large corporations that stand to be crushed by Obama's socialist agenda, will smother the Republicans with cash.
Hey Ron 374386 , All's quiet on the Republican Front. Better days are coming. What a relief. Dems are crooked as they come. First they accuse the opposition of what they themselves are doing. Typical Alinsky tactics.
