Many Democrats voting 'no' on adjournment among most vulnerable

The following is the list of 39 Democrats who voted with the GOP to not allow Congress to adjourn after current legislative business. Essentially they want to deal with the issue of the Bush tax cuts now and possibly vote to extend all of them.

In this list are many vulnerable House Democrats from swing districts and three members who are running for Senate in November. Those three are Ellsworth (IN), Sestak (PA) and Melancon (LA).

The Democratic no votes: Adler (NJ), Altmire (PA), Arcuri (NY), Bean (IL), Bishop (NY), Bright (AL), Carney (PA), Childers (MS), Connolly (VA), Donnelly (IN), Driehaus (OH), Edwards (TX), Ellsworth (IN), Foster (IL), Giffords (AZ), Heinrich (NM), Herseth Sandlin (SD), Kilroy (OH), Kirkpatrick (AZ), Kratovil (MD), Markey (CO), Marshall (GA), McIntyre (NC), McMahon (NY), McNerney (CA), Melancon (LA), Michaud (ME), Minnick (ID), Mitchell (AZ), Murphy (PA), Nye (VA), Perriello (VA), Peters (MI), Schauer (MI), Sestak (PA), Shuler (NC), Space (OH), Taylor (MS), Titus (NV).

Interpretation of this article: Political candidate for office: "I will do or say whatever will get me elected and I will be whatever you want me to be before the election. After I am elected I will do whatever my Party tells me to do - in other words, this is all about ME and my political party and once I am elected you can go to hell".

Lol, I will vote on the TAX CUTS now is one I find more important...

How about...We will have a budget for 2011?

As of Friday we do not have a budget, even thought the party that will not vote on it, made it law to vote on it by may of.

Let the tax cuts expire for the rich or let them expire for everybody. Don't these republicans know we have a deficit.

Bingo, let them expire for the rich or everybody, ask yoursel why the Democrats wouldn't vote on it?

(buying your vote, promising to punish the rich)

The cost of drugs would come down a bunch if they weren't allowed to advertise on television!  Besides, with all the side affects they have to disclose, who wants to take them anyway?  Let doctors decide what medications we need to take.  They are the ones who went to school all those years to learn how to diagnose our needs...

The cost of drugs would have dropped alot if the Obama Administration did not make a back room deal with them in the early stages of the Health insurance Debate.

I think the Democrat leaders Know they will have very little chance of repealing the tax cuts if a vote is held before the November election. They are afraid that Democrats in close races may vote to extend. They have no intention of allowing this to happen. I applaud the Democrats that sided with the GOP on this one.

It is not the chance of repealing the tax cuts before the elections, it is the fact they do not have the votes and they know they cannot blame the Republicans for this.

The turncoat Dems held up real health care reform for the American people. Period. Any fool knows who did what to sabotage the legislation. Some of them are retiring, others are in close elections. They will pay for their treachery against the public option. But, punishing the progressives and the others by not voting is not the answer. I'm going to "buck up" for now.
